Liten stuga cirka 15 minuter söder om centrala Pagosa Springs. Stugan ligger på 5 hektar vacker häst gräsmark, med stor bergsutsikt i öster, national skog över uppfarten och privat tillgång till Blanco River. Det finns ett sovrum med en trevlig, dubbelsäng våningssäng setup. Och ett mysigt loft som är inrett med en queen size-säng. Grillgrill. Brandplats (er). Badplats C & R fiske. Husdjur är välkomna, men inga katt mördare eller aggressiva hundar snälla !! Hästar är också tillåtna eftersom det finns en full gräsmatta för hästvänner. Fullt kök. WIFI. 35 minuter från Wolf Creek, ingen downtown Pagosa trafik !! 15 minuter från centrala Pagosa. 48 "flatskärms-HDTV med DirecTV och söndagsbiljett.

Beautiful area

Property was located in a beautiful area. the remodel of the barn was well done and loved the wood burning heater. It kept the space warm and reminded me of my childhood making sure ours was well stocked. Very peaceful and quiet area. Would love to see it in the summer months.

Do it, Book it!

Wow- this location was everything we wanted. My husband and 2 fur babies needed a weekend to recharge and relax and that’s exactly what Chris’ place afforded. I loved the coziness of the cabin, how spacious it was and all the fun wall hangings (there’s a beautiful quilt hung up in the main bedroom!). Chris himself is a giving and just wonderful person. Upon arriving at our location we were pleasantly surprised to see the wood stove already had kindling and log in there ready to be lit. This act of kindness is just who Chris is. We made delicious roast beef Sammies, had wonderful coffee in the morning and spent the evening sewing and cuddled on the fireplace. I’ve already sent this location to my closest friends! Chris, thank you for making us feel like family and opening your home to us, we will return!

Restful Mountain Retreat

Our family spent 4 days at The Barn and it was just what we needed. The open space and proximity to the river were awesome for us and our 2 kiddos to enjoy outdoor fun. We will remember Chris and his hospitality when we return to Pagosa.

Fun little spot

We enjoyed our stay and really liked the house. Its a nice quaint size with a modern feel. The hummingbirds were fun to watch zip around the place and it was very quiet at night. We would love to come back to do more fishing off the river and to hear more of Chris (the owner) stories!

Best Vacation Spot Ever

Great remote location close to many fabulous free ourdoor activites and downtown Pagosa Springs. The Barn has all the comforts of home was well supplied for our stay very clean simple layout with privacy in mind. Our host Chris provided all that was needed for our stay of 12 days. Summer Vacation

The property is beautiful and very well kept. We had a wonderful time! My boys swam in the river every day we were there and absolutely loved it! Our entire stay was amazing and Chris is an awesome host. My little dog loved the house and going down to the river as well as getting to run around and see Chris everyday. We cant wait to go back!

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

My wife and I with our new puppy loved it!!! The barn is one of a kind. Chris had the lawn mowed and welcomed us like family. He is more than willing to give you your space but once you meet him you catch yourself taking all of his time. We had great conversations. The creek and his swimming hole were very nice, but with the new puppy we spent more time in his back yard. It rained both nights we were there the sleep was fantastic. We explored the area for a half a day, but mostly spent the time at the barn. We will definitely book another stay next year, but for more days. We appreciate the beauty of the barn and the area. THANK YOU CHRIS!!!!

Peaceful Hide-A-Way.

We spent 5 nights there - it was perfect. Loved the "Barn". Clean, cozy & so peaceful. Its only a short walk to the river - the sound of the rapids makes you want to take a nap. Loved the views also. Great relaxing dog friendly vacation!

Everything was just as advertised. Peaceful, relaxing, private, clean, beautiful setting. Chris is a Hoot. He is available if you have any questions or need anything and he gives you all the space and privacy you want. Very dog friendly, Vita, my Czech Shepherd, loved Chris and his friends. Located a few minutes outside Pagosa. Perfect location to go in any direction out on day trips. Great Direct TV, WiFi, and cell with Wifi all were exceptional for a rural area. We have been staying at VRBO for years and Chris is definitely the best host we have ever met. We couldn't have asked for anything better than this, it was an excellent vacation! There is so much to rave about I do not even know where to start! The views are breathtaking, the Barn had everything we needed, we enjoyed the River so much, and Chris was an amazing host! I am a 52 year old contractor, originally from outside of Boston. Been in Pagosa for 30 years now. Hunter. Skier. Rafter. Love the outdoors. Professional hunting guide for Sundown and Rio Grande Outfitters. I live on the property and my rental is my guest house. I am an on-site host, and I ALWAYS give people 100% privacy. That stated, I've also made some life-long friendships through my rental. I've actually built homes for people I've met through my rental!! It's been a game changer for me!!! I've invested countless hours of sweat equity into my property over the years, and I LOVE sharing it!!! Being a host has been a very, cool experience!!!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This property is simply beautiful. I have private access to the Blanco River, and a private swimming hole. Fishing is allowed, but please catch and release only. Also the property has a large pasture area of approximately 2 acres so all you horse folks can stay here!! Hunters especially welcome!! Awesome big mountain views are to the east, and you can go for a stroll across the street in the national forest. One unique benefit as a local in the winter time, is being located south off of Hwy 84. You get to avoid all the traffic headed downtown from the west side of town, which can be very slow and frustrating these days. As Wolf Creek becomes more and more popular every winter, the traffic is getting worse and worse in town. It can take a half hour sometimes if it's snowing, to get from the west side of town, to 4 miles!! YUCK!! I don't know about y'all but when it's a powder day, I HATE waiting in traffic!! Stay here, and you avoid ALL the ski and school traffic of downtown Pagosa. Lots of wildlife. Not uncommon to have elk and deer in the yard. Mountain lions have been seen too!!! When the conditions are right, I have a great hill in the backyard for sledding!!! SO FUN!!
