Vår rymliga ännu varma fem sovrum hem med vackra utsikt över sjön och privat brygga är den perfekta familjen reträtt eller rendezvous för att spara vänner. Det passar bekvämt 13 gäster och erbjuder det bästa av sjön bor i kombination med hemunderhållning och en gourmetkock kök.

Oklanderligt omhändertagna och välutrustade rymliga hem erbjuder 5 stora sovrum, 4. 5 badrum, direkt tillgång till sjön, kajakpaddling, sola, avkoppling, wifi, engagerande mediaupplevelse, gourmet kök, flera utomhusaktiviteter och underhållande, 5 brännare i rostfritt stål grill, spel, färdig källare.

Medan vi heter vårt hem "The Summer Wind" finns det en mängd aktiviteter i varje säsong. Utanför allt erbjuds sjöboende på sommaren, med Catskill-området några av de bästa bladen som kikar runt. Från enheten upp Taconic och utsikt över sjön, till alla lokala vandring. Vandringar sträcker sig i svårigheter och leder till Hudson skatter och vattenfall. Det finns ett överflöd av gårdar inom kort avstånd för äppel och pumpa plockar utöver färska frukter och grönsaker. För våra snötunnor är vi 35-45 minuter från vackra Hunter och Windham Mountains respektive. Förutom skidåkning och snowboard i världsklass finns det zip-linjer, slangar och många andra aktiviteter för alla åldrar. A fantastic homebase for Catskills adventures

Nicole & David have a beautiful property nestled away in a cozy neighborhood that was prefect for the weekend trip my friends & I took. We felt immediately at home upon arrival and the hosts made sure we had everything we needed, from an awesome curated list of places to check out nearby to making the most of our time at the house. I couldn't recommend their property enough, all of our first thoughts when leaving was how amazing it would be to come back in the summer.

Beautiful house, great stay

I booked this house for a girls weekend, there 6 of us and we had such a nice Time. I had excellent and clear communication with Nicole and Dave, the house was very clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this house for your next getaway in that area.

Wonderful family gathering spot

This lovely lake house felt more updated and larger than the pictures suggest for our Fall trip! There was plenty of space for our 8-person, multi-generational family gathering, and the layout was very conducive to both together-time and breaks. We enjoyed the large dining room table for a big family dinner cooked in the high-end kitchen, after which we retired to the great room, which was more spacious than expected, with a perfect lake view. The ground floor bedroom was great for some elderly family members, and the rest of the bedrooms accommodated all preferences, easily (and were accurately described in the listing). All rooms in the house felt recently updated and modern. The hosts were very responsive and kind. The location is close enough to everything we wanted to do, with at least one adorable farm shop within a 10-minute drive. We braved the colder temperatures for some lake kayaking from the perfectly situated deck (with a kayak launch and plent of equipment). Strongly recommend!

Beautiful Lakeside Getaway

Stunningly beautiful and peaceful

A group of 13 women booked a weekend away to relax unwind and have fun. This home and the hosts did not disappoint in any way. This is in incredibly beautiful house with ample room and so many amenities. The pictures don’t give you the full effect of how gorgeous it is! You truly feel like you are home away from home! The hosts were super accommodating and keep the property beautifully with clear instructions and organized supplies! Recommend highly!

Wonderful Place

We were there for outdoor activities and leaf peeping. Both went very well. The house itself was more than large enough for our four couples. The very functional kitchen had high end applicances and was large and well stocked. The neighborhood was very quiet and conducive to running/walking/cycling. The nearby Catskills had lots of interesting hikes. We went to a surprisingly good winery (whitecliff) on a rainy day Hosts responded very quickly to all queries. The only downside is that there is no grocery shopping nearby, but that is expected in a rural area. We'll probably come back in the summer when there are many lake activities to participate it.

Beautiful Lake House

Girls weekend

The house was perfect! We had a girls weekend and there was plenty of space, activities, and amenities. We loved the kayaks and SUP. The house its self was spacious and clean. The owners were so kind and quick to communicate! While we didn’t have kids with us- most of us plan to re-book with our families! There are so many great family activities like games, toys, and movies.

Amazing

The house is gorgeous, clean, and well equipped. We loved the playroom downstairs and all of the perfect places to sit and look out at the lake. We didn't do any day trips because we just wanted to spend time at the house and on the lake!

Perfect Family Vacation

This was our 4th year staying at Camp Summer Wind. It is a beautiful home on a quiet area of the lake. The location is perfect for relaxing on the water or being able to use the other amenities available (pool, tennis courts, etc). The pool table and air hockey are great for the kids when taking a break from the heat or on a rainy day. We have also made an annual tradition of going to the local drive in movies during our stay- it is a great area to explore. Nicole and Dave are fantastic hosts. Each year, we continue to be impressed by their availability and quick responses to any questions or needs. Looking forward to returning for our 5th stay next year!

Comfortable, tranquil, beautiful, and FUN!

We 8 adults and 3 children spent a delightful week at Nicole & Dave's home. The 5 BR house is spacious, with lots of spaces inside and out to be together, or alone. TVs and games kept everyone entertained, when not enjoying the surroundings. The lake is calm, and few motor craft use the cove. There are multiple kayacks and a two paddle boards for guests. The gas grill and the kitchen stove worked well, and there are lots of cooking utensils and dinnerware. Finally, Nicole and Dave were welcoming, responsive to our questions, and helpful. Please note: It's a 10 – 20 min. drive to small towns with cafes, restaurants, and shops to enjoy, but no businesses within walking distance, and many places in towns are closed Mon. and Tues. There are parks within a reasonable driving distance where you can hike/walk. However, only a two lane road surrounds the lake with no other walking path in the neighborhood. Lastly, don't forget to pack personal items like beach towels, shampoo and body wash.

Family get-together

The house is a great place for a family gathering. Lots of space both indoors and outdoors for sitting and visiting. Well equipped kitchen. Nice to have plenty of bathrooms so no waiting. Hosts were very responsive.

Beautiful Place to Host Geekend

We had an excellent time, and even though the weather didn't cooperate with us to enjoy many outdoor activities, Summer Wind made up for it with a roomy and comfortable place to hang out with old friends. We will definitely keep Summer Wind on the list for future Geekends <3

Our second stay here

The house is fabulous. We had a wonderful time. I love the kitchen and the 2 fireplaces. The dining room table is the largest one we have seen. It is wonderful to have all of us sit together for meals. This house is at the top of the list of homes we have stayed at. We stay at a VRBO's 3-4 times a year. I would stay here more often, however it books up fast. Thank you Nicole for another wonderful vacation.

Great stay - beautiful property

We stayed here this fall and it was really beautiful - the house itself is comfortable for a large group allowing for people to have their space, yet also have great places to relax. The backyard is amazing and a big highlight. You have the lake, and while we weren't taking advantage of the amenities due to weather, it was still a great place to hang out and enjoy the view when we could. The hosts were very responsive and maintain the property incredibly well. Highly recommend.

Great time was had by all

We had three generations of the family. Very nice comfortable house accommodated us all. The children were delighted by the playroom. Swimming and kayaking from the dock was fun and enjoyed by all. Smores by the firepit was delightful. Also took a little day trip to Legoland, one of the children's biggest dream.

Lakeside Family Holiday

We spend 5 nights at this beautiful vacation home to gather with siblings & family. The house was just perfect for our gathering. Large, spacious home where everyone could spread out comfortably. Well equipped with thoughtful items to make you feel right at home. Lots of sitting areas that does not disappoint. The lake was gorgeous to wake up to and the neighborhood peaceful & quiet. The backyard leading to the lake has been very well thought out maximizing the hillside with 3 spacious flat areas set up for different activities. The swing, the fire pit, the canoes all of which we tried and enjoyed. The Game room was the ultimate savior during our rainy days. The hosts Nicole & David were very responsive & excellent communicators. Besides the consistent rain, we had no issues and feel this would be a perfect spot for you and family if you seek a soul fulfilling vacation.

Lovely Lake House

We had a wonderful time at this lake house . The house was immaculate . The kitchen was well stocked to cook for a family. The outside space was great as well. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. I would definitely recommend this property: )

NCAA Annual Boys Trip

We had a fanatastic time at Camp Summer Wind. The house was amazing with plenty of space and the perfect setting for our annual college/HS friends get together! Nicole and Dave were amazing and their communication was great! They made everything very easy! Really appreciate the organization of everything in the house. They have everything labeled so no need to go looking for anything! Awesome experience and we can't wait to go back! Thanks Nicole and Dave!
