Perfect Location

This apartment was clean and well stocked. The location was very convenient for visiting towns from Bar Harbor to Camden. Will definitely be staying here next time we visit.

Beautiful view and access to Belfast Bay

We really enjoyed our stay! The accommodations were comfortable and the location made it easy to go to town or stay in and watch the lobsterman tend to their traps in the bay.

Excellent place, excellent location, great hosts!

We loved our time in Belfast. This apartment was perfect for two grandparents, two parents, and two teens. The hosts were super accommodating--anything we needed they provided. And they were very friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay

The apartment was very comfortable for our family of five. The location is good for trips to Bar Harbor/Acadia to the north or other mid-coast areas to the south. We had no problems at all with the rental.

The apartment and grounds were lovely. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. The king-sized bed in the primary suite needs a center support, but all beds were very comfortable

Lovely open home on the water.

We spent several days last summer in the Eagles Nest. It is a very comfortable home w/ great views out to the bay. Everyone was very helpful and there was plenty of room for all of us to relax. It is very quiet but a short drive to town , and we kept kayaks for trips out on the water. I will stay again!

Great place to stay!

The property was great! Clean, inviting and well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The views were great. Neighbors were quiet. We had everything we needed. The stairs are a bit steep if you have trouble with steps, so pack lightly.

Spectacular property and view

This was such a spectacular place to be. The house it self was beyond gorgeous and had everything you would need. Being so close to the water was an extra bonus and having the view from the deck !! Everyone was so friendly. We very much look forward to coming back and hopefully bringing our boys with us next time!

Very Nice Apartment

The apartment was great. Roomy and well appointed. The only drawback was the many stairs to get to the apartment. The location was convenient. The adjacent campground was quiet. The grounds were manicured. The view was great. The king sized bed was supremely comfortable.

Moorings RV campground is the more your looking for!

The apartment above the office exceeded our expectations in every way. It is a beautiful clean space with an amazing few. It was well stocked from kitchenware to bed linens and towels. With a family of 7, the washer and dryer were greatly appreciated. Having basic cleaning supplies available was also nice. Evenings were enjoyed on the deck with a view. The surrounding campground was peaceful and folks were friendly. Being a short distance away from so many wonderful places to see and enjoy made our week long trip so worth it! Anyone headed toward Belfast Maine should check this place out. It will not disappoint!!

We all LOVED this place

Way better than our expectations. Even though I'd been in Belfast many times during the latter part of my working career, occasionally with my wife, we were both blown away and the 2 sisters who joined us (who live across the street from us in Sun City, AZ) felt the same. We wanted a place near Acadia but not as busy as Ellsworth or as expensive as Bar Harbor. Perfect. Great property! Nice folks. EASY......with a view.

So beautiful and convenient

Great spot with amazing view. Loved Belfast, especially Young’s lobster pound, used lobster pot and other provided pots and pans to prepare lobster and steamers in the apartment, twice. Went up the tower at Penobscot Narrows bridge and had beers and appetizers at Marshal Wharf brewery. Apartment was spacious and clean for 5 adults…lots of stairs so not suitable for folks with mobility issues, but we were fine. We recommend and would absolutely return if the opportunity presents.

Great place and location

This was a really nice getaway for few days in COVID situation. The house was clean and as described. Communication was great. We had couple of AC issues which were resolved instantaneously. The location is really nice, very close to water. The private beach was ok as it was not sandy but rocky, indeed private for someone to freely use it. The rental is part of campground that is shared with RVs and trailers. Overall a great experience.

Fantastic place; better than what's shown

A real hidden gem. The listing doesn't do it justice. The view is breathtaking. If you want to see RV'ers do it, it's a great lesson. Unfortunately, since the virus panic, no one has the little extras like spices or anything that might consider 'transfering germs.' Understand this.. it is for most places. The place is amazing.

Great rental!

Our last minute trip to Maine for holiday was made by this rental and the people who helped us. I dealt with Debra and she made the rental/payment process extremely easy and made us feel very welcomed. Everyone we encountered was nice and the July 4th BBQ was great. The food was amazing! The apartment itself was spotless, spacious, and had a great layout. The location was perfect as well. We were able to take a day trip to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor which were beautiful as well. Fireworks from the deck were wonderful on the 4th. Myself, my parents and sister all agree that we will be returning to this rental in the future. Thanks to Debra for answering questions, welcoming us, and making our vacation relaxing and great! PERFECTION!

The first thing you notice upon entering the apartment, is that the online pictures do not do it justice!! It is a stunning view. It is exceptionally clean in every single crack, corner, and crevice. The kitchen is well stocked with things you may need. There are plenty of blankets to enjoy cool nights out on that lovely wraparound deck. The deck overlooks the manicured grounds of the RV resort and a beautiful view of the bay spread out in front of you. Grab a cooler and a couple of chairs and a favorite book and take the short walk down to the beach. At low tide. you have a nice wide beach to dip your toes in the water and enjoy the sound of the waves and lobster boats. This trip was four of us adult women together for a weekend trip. This place is a hidden gem as it is close to Camden Hills for some hiking, the downtown of Belfast with its lovely restaurants and Harbor walk, and further north Sears Island has plenty of nature walks. If you really felt adventurous you could even go into Acadia national park. We will absolutely be back as we are locals from Maine and this has the best of what Maine has to offer. Thank you so much for the cleanliness and the friendly staff at the RV resort.

A wonderful hidden gem in Belfast

My party were looking for a conveniently located place to stay that was central to Maine's hot spots, lobsters, Bar Harbor, Belfast, Boothbay Harbor. Considering we were driving from NYC we opted to find a location closer to home than drive out to Bar Harbor, we couldn't have been happier with our choice. First of all, I was to extend many thanks for the host, Debra, for assisting us with all our questions prior to arrival and even accommodating our need for a smores for the 5 year old traveling in our party. She went above and beyond in trying to make our stay the best that it can be, even if we didn't get a chance to make the smores. The apartment overlooks the ocean and is situated in an RV park, but don't let that deter your stay. The spacious apartment has great views and is very well lit and open. We spent most of the time around the living room or kitchen area, which can comfortably fit more than the 5 members in our party. Members in our party went to take daily dips in the ocean, the washer and dryer in the apartment was extremely helpful. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked to prepare any meals (pots, pans, whisks, etc), but you do need to bring spices or coffee. Often we just went to the local Hannaford, which is open late (11 pm) during the summer to grab items for breakfast and had dinner at the local lobster pounder or restaurant in Belfast. I hope anyone interested in staying in the area considers staying in this apartment, you won't be disappointed.
