This Villa/Cottage is located in the fishing village of Sesimbra, near the Castle hill. It faces the ocean with a wonderful view over the village bay and beaches. The accommodation consists of 2 large living rooms, 4 bedrooms (1 ensuite bathroom), 3 bathrooms with shower, a large balcony facing the ocean, a private garden with swimming pool. 2 bedrooms have a front ocean view.

The villa is spacious and well divided. On the upper floor, you will find the master bedroom with a double bed (1,40m), private balcony with ocean views and ensuite bathroom with shower. On the first floor, there is one bathroom with shower, 3 bedrooms (2 rooms with 1,40m double beds and 1 room with 2 single beds), a living room with two rocking chairs, and a fantastic balcony with a hammock, where you can soothe away the daily stress with a panoramic ocean view.
On the ground floor, there is one bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and a living room, all rooms are facing the garden and swimming pool. There is also free Wi-Fi Internet and cable TV at the house.
The house was built 25 years ago, and it is a typical family beach house. It was remodelled 2018 and refurbished (the furniture is a mixture of classic and modern beach house furniture) making it a comfortable house to ensure a pleasant stay for its guests, especially family with children. In the garden, there is a BBQ, a private swimming pool, lots of lawn for relaxation and also a children-playing area.
Sesimbra is a fishing village, famous for its wonderful gastronomy, full of fresh fish and shellfish. You will find a great number of restaurants with great food overlooking the beach and harbour, at incredibly low prices. The village also offers a large variety of activities related to the sea and nature. Sesimbra is a 45-minute drive from the Lisbon centre.
Lisbon features historical areas such as Alfama, Belém, Chiado, Rossio and Bairro Alto. The Portela International Airport is a 45-minute drive away.

Rustic Portuguese villa

Our family of 6 adults got to enjoy this spacious villa for a week. The house has everything you could wish for and the location is perfect near the beach and short walk to several restaurants.

Great location and help from Filipa who was a great host.

We had a great week in Sesimbra, the property was spacious and had all what we needed. Filipa was quick to respond to any queries and had great advice on trips and travel. The pool and outside space was great including the BBQ. Some of the shower fixings on the top floor need to be improved and some of the furniture could be more comfortable in the living areas, but these are only minor points

Fantastic stay at the villa

Fabulous location perched on top of the hill with a view of the bay, gorgeous pool, garden, living area and all the rest. Our family had a fantastic time. Hosts were v responsive to any questions we had and we felt very well looked after. Some of the pillows in the bedrooms could be replaced as the stuffing has lost a bit of life. It would be great to include washing detergent for clothes with the house as well.

Great House with fantastic view

We had great two weeks in Sesimbra. The house, garden & pool is in very good condition and equipped with everything you need. The owner was easy to communicate with and very helpful. We can very much recommend staying here.

Sesimbra Villa - wonderful days

We had the most wonderful time in the Sesimbra Villa. The house was very nice, had a lot of space and a unique decoration. We enjoyed specially the outside space, the swimming poll and the garden were perfect for the kids. The owner was very thoughtful and helped us with all we needed. Perfect days!!!

Lovely property and location- needs updating

Lovely large property in a great location, 15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Steep uphill climb on the way back though with unmade paths. Pool and garden delightful, but with only 4 Sun loungers. Kitchen ok, but lacking some crockery and with many chipped mugs. Bathrooms very disappointing-desperately need updating- 1 shower dilapidated and unusable, other 2 showers dated and not very hygienic. Narrow winding metal staircase to master bedroom in the loft would be unsuitable for many. Fantastic beaches within 15/20 minute drive and Convenient for a lovely day trip to Lisbon by car and ferry.

A very good family villa

We all loved the space in the house and the feeling of safety for the children. The large upper balcony was a cool haven in the heat of the day. Enough space for people not to feel on top of each other. There were plenty of bin bags to help keep the property tidy and also pool toys left for children. The views are also very appealing. It is a very enjoyable property. The staff during the prolonged booking period due to Covid were very understanding. The information said there would be dishwasher tablets left but there were none and the glasses in the cupboard all were great looking and needed waking up before use. so if it could be arranged to ensure the tablets are there it would help new arrivals who like us did not have transport until our family arrived to get to the supermarket. Also there were only 5 wine glasses of different sizes so perhaps at least 6 the same size would make it fairer, if possible.

Very beautiful traditional house - perfect for a family stay. Gorgeous pool and garden. We loved it! Had a wonderful week in July - celebrating my partner’s 60th birthday. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

An ideal location

The property is in an ideal location, close to the beaches, bars and restaurants. With spacious accommodation and great pool it was just what we wanted. We particularly enjoyed eating out in the evening at Casa Mateus in town and lunch close by at the beach at Porrifino.

Sehr schönes Haus mit toller Lage

Das Haus selbst ist sehr ansprechend und bietet genug Raum für bis zu 8 Personen. Der Garten und der Pool sind toll angelegt und versetzen einen sofort in Urlaubsstimmung. Der Blick auf das Meer, Ortschaft und den Hafen ist phantastisch, auf der anderen Seite sieht man die Burg hoch über dem Ort. Das Interieur ist allerdings etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, weil ziemlich wild zusammen gewürfelt – verschiedene Stile (wahrscheinlich vom Eigentümer auf Reisen zusammengetragen). Teile der Einrichtung sollten dringend mal erneuert werden und das Ganze sollte eine grundlegende Modernisierung erfahren. Dann wäre es unser Traumhaus! Aber auch so – sehr empfehlenswert.

Fabulous location and house

Great time had. The property is perfect for relaxing and has great views over Sesimbra. The beach is amazing and very clean and the people are soooo friendly. We had a great holiday.

Fantástica Estadia

Fantástica estadia em Sesimbra! A casa é muito gira e está em óptimas condições. Éramos um grupo de casais, todos com filhos e a casa foi simplesmente perfeita. O tempo, especialmente bom para a altura do ano, permitiu fazer refeições no jardim, usufruir da piscina e dar um pulinho, a pé, à praia. Foi um fim-de-semana fantástico, a repetir, seguramente!

Huis moet nodig opgeknapt worden

Zojuist een weekje in dit huis gezeten met 6 gezellige dames. Laat ik vooropstellen dat we een heerlijke week achter de rug hebben, maar: Op zich een prima groot huis, maar geheel doet armoedig aan. Staan veel te veel persoonlijke spullen in het huis en heel veel dode planten. Dubbel glas is op vele plekken lek en daardoor kan je niet naar buiten kijken, geen lekkere kussens voor op de buitenstoelen, ingebouwde bank binnen in woning zit niet comfortabel er staat geen normaal bankstel in. Stoelen bij de eettafel zitten niet comfortabel. Op de 1e etage staat geen enkele stoel of bank waarop je kunt zitten, alles is oud en versleten. Huis ligt bovenop een berg. Weliswaar 5 minuten lopen naar het strand, maar omhoog lopen is geen optie, veel te steile weg. Bedden liggen redelijk, maar wat mij betreft moeten die hoognodig vervangen worden. Oude en kapotte matrassen. Alles is kraak helder, er wordt goed schoongemaakt! Schoon beddengoed, schone handdoeken (laatst genoemde zijn ook aan vervanging toe). Het is een huis voor 9 personen, maar qua slaapplaatsen is het niet optimaal omdat de bedden maar 140 breed zijn. Wij waren met 6 vriendinnen en samen in zo een klein bedje is niet lollig. Tuin en zwembad zijn geweldig! Kortom: zou perfect zijn als er wat aandacht aan het huis besteed wordt, maar op dit moment zou ik er niet nog een keer heen gaan.

Fantastic first stay in Portugal!

This very nice house was our "base" for one weeks holiday in Sesimbra with surroundings. All together four couples from Sweden that really enjoyed the space, garden and pool. Short walking distance to beach and restaurangs. Furthermore the communication with the owner was nice and effective, giving answers to all our questions and needs. Highly recommendable!

Super viel Platz

Die Raumaufteilung läßt auch mit einer großen Gruppe viel Platz für Individualität und Rückzug, einzig der Straßenlärm ist nicht so gut auszublenden. (deshalb vier Sterne) In der Küche ist alles was das Herz begehrt vorhanden. Der Strand und sehr gute Fischrestaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar, die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für frische Backwaren am Morgen sind auf abenteuerlichen Wegen durch Sesimbra ebenfalls gut zu machen. Vor allem Garten und Pool sind sehr gepflegt und wunderschön angelegt.

Heerlijke vankantie villa .

Na ons verblijf in de villa met onze familie, genieten we nog na van de indruk die het huis bij ons heeft achter gelaten. Het huis en de prachtige tuin met zwembad het uitzicht over zee en het gezellige dorp Sesimbra, is een aanrader om op een prettige manier de vakantie door te brengen. De eigenaresse heeft ons op zeer vriendelijke wijze ontvangen , daarvoor onze hartelijke dank. Met vriendelijke groeten Fam. Teijsen

Fabulous house

I was been in this house durin my holidays and I have enjoyed the pleasure of seing the sea and the charming of so beatifull courts for playing tenis, The restaurans offer seafood of high quality. The House offer excelent comodity and confort and gave me the oportunity for reading books and writing for my friends.
