Great place to stay! Quiet and out of the way but still just a couple minutes to Kittery and Portsmouth. We enjoyed our stay and we plan to return next year!

Property was as advertised. Very quiet setting with lots of space. Home had all the amenities and was centrally located to all local attractions in southern coastal Maine and New Hampshire. Host was very pleasant and accommodating. Definitely would stay again if in the area!

Comfortable vacation living

With an easy check in, spacious living area and a garden that should be in a magazine, this is a great place. Communication with the owner and her bend over backwards attitude make you feel secure that you are getting great value and you know you matter to her.

Beautiful house and back deck in Eliot

Had a great time decompressing on the back porch and on the property. Cute house perfect for one, two, and maybe three people. Very nice owner and wonderful area close to Kittery and Portsmouth. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent experience!

We loved staying here. Immaculate, well appointed home w/lovely gardens/yard in a quiet neighborhood yet w/easy access to Portsmouth & the coast. Couldn't be more comfortable & host very accommodating.

Convenient to everything

We had a great stay here! Adorable house, decorated nicely, convenient to everything ( we spent time in Portsmouth, Ogunquit, Wolfeboro, etc ). Very quiet and peaceful! Loved it!

Beautiful place for our needs

This place was exactly what we wanted, so beautiful and cozy for a couple’s get away, in an airy and sunlit place. Close to all the fun of Kittery and Portsmouth, but a wonderful place in its own right to hang at home if the mood calls. We rented bikes and did a fabulous 20 mile ride down the rail trail in Portsmouth and then back up the coast. Highly recommend.

Love, love, love

This property and the host, Alison, are just wonderful. House is clean and tidy and the grounds are beautiful. This is my second stay here and I’ll be coming back again!

Lovely house and quiet area

We tryly enjoyed our stay with our dog. The home is so comfortable, very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Only 10 minutes to Portsmouth and Kittery . Our host Alison was very accomodating and quickly answered any questions we had regarding the area and places to visit. .

Perfect!

The cottage was an excellent place to stay! It felt like home and was central to four days of outings to various destinations in Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire! Our 12 year old puppy was even happy with the accomodations, which were as advertized! Thank you Alison for providing your cottage for rent for five days!

Great quiet location

Perfect for our stay near Portsmouth. Just over the bridge in a quiet neighborhood less than 10 minutes from downtown. Nice yard with a sitting area in back. Kitchen was well stocked. Bit of mold in the bathroom but not that bad that we wouldn't come back.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for your feedback on the mold - I think you must mean on the caulking where the shower wall meets the tub? It is a challenge to keep it from returning because water tends to sit on that spot. I'll be sure to run a new line of caulk asap - I appreciate you bringing it to my attention!

Exactly what we Needed

Very comfortable, well equipped home. Alison is always available and quick to respond to any questions or needs. Beautiful location with water views across the road and shopping/restaurants close by. We highly recommend!

Perfect Home for an Extended Stay

We rented this place for 4 nights to visit our son at UNH. The location was perfect to get to Durham and also to grocery stores and other shopping venues. The house was super clean and the kitchen was stocked with the appropriate cookware to allow me to make home cooked meals. The owner was amazing and responsive and offered an extra special treat of Netflix and HuLu. I highly recommend this home!
