Du uppmanas att gå tillbaka i tiden och njuta av enkelheten i en långsammare tid i Sequim Heritage House. Vårt holländska kolonialhem från 1924 blandar elegansen och hantverket av förflutna dagar med moderna bekvämligheter och uppdateringar.
Vårt stora 4 sovrum, 4 badrum, hemmet är bekvämt beläget i centrala Sequim inom två kvarter av restauranger, unika butiker, Saturday Farmers Market, konstgalleri, vinprovningsbar, banker, kaféer, skolor, bussterminalen, den världsberömda lavendeln Festival och Irrigation Festival.
Den informella inneslutna trädgården, med utsikt över olympiska bergen, har en "hemlig trädgård" -känsla och integritet. Sommarhuset erbjuder en avkopplande utomhus miljö för en grill som du förberett eller bara din favoritdrink.
Sequim är centralt beläget på den olympiska halvön, där sightseeing är en vardaglig händelse. Inom tre timmar kan du enkelt resa till pittoreska Victoria, British Columbia, Hoh Rain Forest, stränderna i Stilla havet och Seattle. Närmare hemmet ligger Olympic National Park Hurricane Ridge, Lakes Crescent and Sutherland, Sol Duc Hot Springs, Dungeness River, Audubon Center, Victorian Port Townsend, Olympic Game Farm, Dungeness Spit and Lighthouse, Seven Cedars Casino och flera golfbanor tillgängliga. We had an amazing stay in Sequim at Winnie’s rental! Her house is so beautiful & well appointed. Our group of 9 had plenty of room to spread out & we all had ample space in the bedrooms. Beautiful yard & landscaping & potted flowers! Tall privacy fence & hedge. Winnie, thank you for opening your home to us, we loved it!

Writing Retreat

Winnie was a wonderful host and very communicative throughout our stay. The house is lovely with a beautiful and calm energy and our group really enjoyed all of the amenities provided. A few did have some allergies with the top master bedroom, but I found the house pretty clean

Family fun!!

This was our second time to stay at the Heritage House. It is a beautiful home, plenty of room inside and out. A large private yard is fun for the kids and adults. Being able to walk to shops, the farmers market, restaurants, makes it very convenient. Plenty of parks and beaches to visit. A perfect home!!

Beautiful and spacious house.

My wife and son were participating in the marathon so we wanted a place where the whole family could come to support them. Finding Heritage House was perfect. All 8 of us were able to be under one roof, share meals together, play games, and have an amazing place to relax. We’ll be back and highly recommend staying there.

Family birthday

This was the most beautiful place to stay that we gave experienced in our years of traveling. It was perfect for our group of 10. Having several gourmet cooks…they were impressed with the kitchen appointments and we enjoyed many meals with good food and beautiful table settings.

Annual Sisters Trip

Best accommodations in the 12 years we’ve been doing this at various spots in Washington. And I could give Winnie our host humors jillion stars I would. So enjoyed a personal checkin when we arrived! Winnie has excellent instincts about how to help her guests delight in the home she obvious loves! And location was stellar!

A wonderful place to stay! Gorgeous accommodations and a beautiful English-type garden! The owner is so easy to communicate with and was so accommodating. The house was perfect for our large group. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook every night. We hope to return in the near future!

An Inspiring Retreat

Heritage House

This lovely home was a perfect family vacation. Many parks, sites, natural beauty. Walking distance to many local shops and restaurants. The Saturday farmers market was wonderful. And the bonus was a huge carshow on Saturday also. The owner of the home is so very nice and makes sure you know all of the nuances of this home. We will definitely be returning.

2 families for a long weekend

We (4 adults, 6 kids all under 10) stayed for 4 days to have a home base while enjoying the Olympics. Winnie was very flexible, helpful and communicative. Furthermore, it was a perfect place to stay with all of our little kids. They had a lot of space to run around, play hide and seek and space in the gated yard to enjoy. Similar when it came to making and eating dinner or if someone needed space from all chaos that is 6 little kids. If you have a big group and you want to make it easy on yourself, book this place.

Outstanding House Rental in Sequim WA

This was our first experience with VRBO and any future rentals will be compared to this exceptional house, allowing three families (8 people), lots of comfortable room. It was a beautiful, unique house but "home" to us for the week we shared it. So nice to have everything available to us. Owner, Winnie was so kind , helpful and always available by phone if needed. Anyone would find it an exceptional rental. Sequim, WA, is a nice town in a beautiful area, easy to get around in. One will feel at home in this house, in this town, in this area. The heritage house has lots of charm. There was plenty' of room for the 6 of us. Our grandchildren had a great time playing in the backyard. . The kitchen was fully stocked & for the nights we didn't feel like cooking there was plenty of choices to eat out. Winnie was a great host & always communicated in a timely manner.

Beautifully maintained home from the 1900 era. The accommodations were luxurious, the beds extremely comfortable, and the interior beautifully decorated and furnished. The host was exceptional, waiting up late for us because of a delay in our flight. We will be back!

Loved Our Stay!

Fantastic spot, wonderful host, and all around amazing experience. We were there for the annual lavender festival, which was a total treat, but this would be a great spot to stay at any time of year. Highly recommended!

Awesome place for a group of friends

We loved our stay. A friend group of eight who came to Sequim to bike ride the discovery trail. Heritage house was in such a great location for coffee shops/restaurants. The home was very clean and well appointed. A lot of room to relax, inside or outside in the garden. We definitely would stay again. Winnie was easy to communicate with and eager for us to have a great time and we did!

Lovely large home with a beautiful garden

Everything was better than expected. We enjoyed being at the house & playing games, but also taking excursions to different parts of the Olympic National Park. The house had more than enough room for our group of 5. The kitchen had everything we wanted. We ate all our breakfasts & lunches there, but dinner would have been easy too. Enjoyed a birthday dinner outside at Alder Wood Bistro and got excellent bread and danishes at Pane Amore bakery. There’s a wonderful Thai restaurant, Sabai Thai, in Port Angeles if you’re near there at dinner time. We would be happy to return here. Thank you Winnie!

Family Time

Our family had a wonderful stay at The Heritage House in Sequim. We were all together to celebrate a family members 90th birthday. There was plenty of room, all the amenities we needed and loads of charm. Everything you’d want is in walking distance. Thank you to Winnie for being such a gracious host.

I find meeting new people very stimulating. Helping guests enjoy my lovely 1924 vintage home & gardens while they explore the Olympic Peninsula very rewarding. My husband & I currently reside in Sequim, Washington.

Over the years, I have enjoyed collecting & living with antiques. Owning an older character houses in a small town setting has always been a goal of mine since visiting a special aunt and experiencing the warm & comfort of her home. I love the Heritage's location & sense of privacy in the middle of downtown Sequim. "Her" character, charm & spaciousness creates a welcoming environment. Whether it's one person or a large group, they are sure to enjoy the casual elegance of the Heritage House.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Sequim was originally a farming based community that had few older character-rich homes. The relaxed elegance of my unique home is one of the few exceptions. When we purchased the Heritage House 1998, we set out to enhance her original "good bones". Fortunately she escaped the 1960's remodels that would have covered up many of her outstanding characteristics: high ceilings, original hardwood floors, archways & a stone fireplace to list a few. In her almost 100 years, we are only the 5th family to have the privilege to care for her. I have been delighted to share her fine qualities with guests from as close as Port Angeles & as far as Australia.

From the laurel covered arch entry to the 1924 original claw foot bath tub, the secluded summer house & gardens, my home is a relaxing retreat from today's world & springboard to enjoy this beautiful Olympic Peninsula.
Since 2006, I have welcomed many guests to the Heritage House from all over world. I look forward to sharing this special place with many more. I enjoy meeting, welcoming, hosting & helping my guests to spend quality time on the Olympic Peninsula.
