Excellent View

The view of Coquitlam & mountains was amazing. Location to shopping, restaurants, parks & leisure centres was great. The bed definitely needs an upgrade. Kitchen had adequate supplies & the suite was very clean.

Nice view!

Place was spacious, well equipped, good location. It does have a steep driveway so when I arrived on a dark night, and raining, I did get out of the car to make sure I knew where I was going. Highly recommend you do a little scouting because without it, it's pretty easy to hit things on the way down the drive when it's your first time and it's very dark. For the price point, it's a very nice deal.

In town for a tournament

Place was extreme clean. Included all amenities, and host was very accommodating and did introduce herself at t at the beginning of this day. It doesn’t indicate laundry service, but that is available upon request.

Très beau séjour!

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour au Howard Johansson. Gina and Peter ont été très accueillants et à l’écoute de nos besoins. La propriété est très jolie, très propre et la vue sur les montagnes est magnifique. Même leurs chats Marcel et Carlos nous ont bien accueillis! Nous n’hésitons pas à recommander cette propriété.

Perfect in every way!

We stayed for two nights at the end of our holiday travelling from England to Seattle and Canada. I honestly wish we had stayed for longer. Everything was just great. When we arrived, the hosts made us feel so welcome and at home. The view from the garden was incredible. The property was spotless and very homely! If we ever come that way again, I would not hesitate to book here again. Can't recommend enough!

Great place! Great location!

We spent our time in downtown vancouver. This place was easy to navigate to downtown using public transport. Great value stay. Beautiful property and great views. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean. We would definitely stay again!

Spacious property with great views

A very well equipped, spacious property with good transport links to Downtown Vancouver. We loved the views from the patio area (saw hummingbirds visit the hanging baskets!) - a lovely space to eat breakfast /relax in after sightseeing. Very comfortable and very large bed!!!! Very responsive hosts when we had any questions - thank you Gina for your hospitality.

Great stay

Gina and Peter are wonderful hosts, easy to communicate with, answering every question or request right away. Our one bedroom apartment was clean, spacious and had everything you need for longer stay. We also enjoy beautiful view from the garden.

Amazing staying

We used to stay at hotel but the cost is getting expensive so we decided to stay in air b&b. Everything was perfect with our family. There were enough towels and bed linens. The room condition was so clean and organized. We also enjoyed the amazing views and it was very private. I will stay here again for next trip to Vancouver. Thank you , Gina.

Incredible Home Away From Home

The VIEW is stunning! To wake up to the mountains every morning seemed like being in a movie. No photograph can do it justice. Gina is a wonderful hostess - very approachable, quick to respond, and just an all-around lovely human being. The rooms are spacious and decorated tastefully. Make sure to read the instructions for the fireplace, and you will be cozy whenever you wish. Excellent kitchen with everything you need, including coffee & tea - just bring groceries! Shower pressure is to die for!!! It’s one of the most important parts of a stay, and they nailed it 😁 Nice quiet family neighbourhood, but a very quick drive anywhere. Great to have off-street parking there. Loved having laundry facilities available on a schedule - helped us a lot! Very quiet, exceptionally clean, well-maintained property. The next time we visit our daughter and son-in-law, we will definitely be booking here again. If you’re on the fence, jump down and book this before it’s gone!

Couldn't be Better

This is our second time staying at the Howard Johansson, and our stay was even better than the first. It will continue to be our first choice location for our twice a year visits to Coquitlam. The bear was a nice added touch, but don't feel like you have to produce him every time we visit

Gina and Pete were excellent hosts and the space was wonderful. Very clean and very comfortable. Such beautiful views. Very peaceful and quiet. We highly recommend them for your short or long term stay.

Great Place

It is a wonderful space and location for our visit. Being sensitive to artificial scents, the only downside was an overuse of air fresheners and scented fabric softeners.

Great lil place and neighborhood

It was our first time using VRBO accommodations. They were very helpful and got back to me quickly regarding any questions we had. Very clean, comfy bed, comfy couch, great view and walkable.

We are a loving three person family living on the property. We enjoy skiing and all types of summer sports. The man of the house is from Stockholm and fluent in Swedish, Italian and English.

This is a lovely family oriented community. Walking distance to one of the largest shopping centres in Greater Vancouver and close and all amenities. Located on the bus route as well.
