3 sovrum 2 badrum urban loft i vackert renoverad historisk byggnad

3 sovrum, 2 badrum lägenhet belägen i en livlig, renoverad historisk byggnad (byggnad byggd 1885, lägenhet renoverat 2007). Denna unika plats har en spiral trappuppgång i tre våningar, utsatta tegelväggar och fantastisk utsikt över marken. Öppen planlösning med stort kök och ö. 1 kilometer till centrala TC och stranden. På den 480 tunnland stora marken finns många vandringsleder, och det finns kaféer, vingårdar, restauranger och mer bara en hissresa bort.

Vi har ett sovrum med en king size-säng och ett bifogat master badrum. Ytterligare ett sovrum med två enkelsängar och utrymme för att sätta upp ett paket. Det finns ett loft sovrum som är öppet för resten av de gemensamma områdena som har en queen size-säng och ett skrivbord. Vi kan också tillhandahålla en uppblåsningsmadrass på begäran om att monteras i vardagsrummet.

We weren't sure about staying at the former asylum, but ultimately, the room and the overall complex was amazing. We felt good vibes the entire time... even during our tour in the dark.

Very well-appointed kitchen and bathrooms, exceptionally clean, conveniently located near adorable shops, restaurants, wineries, and breweries. Management was super responsive and easy to work with to make our stay perfect. The spooky historical vibe was fun as well! The spiral staircase to get to each floor was fun for our girls weekend and we were able to view gorgeous sunrises out the windows, overlooking the historical spires.

Great place, perfect location

Unique setting up the spiral staircase. Beds weren’t great but good enough. Perfect location for us with our mom at Cordia Retirement Community also in Grand Traverse Commons.

Family trip

This was our first time visiting Michigan. This was such a beautiful place to stay. The building, the grounds, and the room were all amazing. It's in a good location, close to great food, Slabtown Burgers, delicious! Would love to stay again.

Birthday weekend getaway

We love TC and come up a couple times a year. This is the first time we stayed at this property and the location was perfect. The on-site shops, restaurants, Saturday indoor farmers market, and close proximity to downtown were exactly what we wanted. Everything about the property and location exceeded our expectations and we plan to return again soon.

Winter Storm at the old hospital

We had a great time staying at this VRBO. We stayed here during a winter storm and it was otherwise very cozy and had all the amenities one would need. It’s also fun that it’s the old state hospital building. On Saturday morning, we took the elevator down to check out the shops and also have brunch at Red Spire. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay here again.

Holiday Weekend Stay

We booked a Thanksgiving weekend stay and it was the perfect getaway from Chicago. The property is well kept, kitschy, and comfortable. The spiral staircase is a really fun way to access the loft. The location is perfect with shops and restaurants downstairs and scattered throughout the village. We are at the the taco restaurant and Sugar2Salt for brunch and enjoyed the coffee shop every day. All of that within a short walk! This is our second time staying in the main building at the Village and our first in this unit. We will be back whenever we can!

Unique experience

Our kids look forward to interesting rental experiences and this property definitely is something different! It was comfortable and very clean, with shops, restaurants and hiking right outside the door. The Commons was a little quiet for kids, but was still fun for all of us. I think it’s a little more suited to adults only groups, but the property itself has lots of games and toys on hand to entertain kiddos when back at home base. Our only complaint was the lack of curtains for the sleeping areas as the sun comes up early- if you’re a light sleeper and the bright sunlight bothers you, bring an eye mask! Great stay overall

Girl's Weekend Getaway!

We had a blast.... the location was incredible, so many things to do on property. We went to Left Foot Charley's Barrle Room, had a drink and a snack. Ate dinner at Stella's... absolutely incredible.... We use The Brew Bus for a private shuttle and wine tasting.. our driver Coop, was awesome. Checking into the condo was a little difficult, but it was us too! We made it and laughed at ourselves a lot that we didn't get better about managing the doors and keys.... The Condo had everything we could have needed. Thank you... we will be back!

Nice unit, but really hard to get in and out

The unit was very clean and well stocked. Getting in and out of the unit was difficult with multiple codes, keys and lock pad combinations. The spiral stairs were unyielding, my adult son slipped and fell down a few stairs while going up to the loft. He was not injured, but this unit is not for us with narrow spiral stairs and low ceiling walls around the corners of the rooms.

The king size bed on the kitchen level, the mattress is terrible, not able to sleep in it, lumpy and no support. The coffee pot leaks water all over the counter and the sectional needs to be replaced. Sure, initially it looks nice, all cushions are fluffed up, but once you sit on it you just sink.

Plenty of space for our family of 6

Loved the rich history of the building. The great shopping in the lower level was an added bonus. We love having the space of the condo over being stuck in a hotel room. We like going to escape rooms, so that is how I treated the check in process. I handed the instructions to my kids and said figure it out. And they did. But it did take a few minutes to find the right bike and door.

Unique setting/local history

Clean, unique, family friendly. Convenient to activities we wanted to visit in TC. We knew their was a spiral staircase to get to the upper bedroom. Didn't realize you had to also use a spiral staircase or set of 3 short flight of stairs to get into the condo.

This is my absolute favorite property to have a girls trip at. It is in the most unique building. Hard to beat being an elevator ride away from great restaurants and shops.
