Villa Golfinhos sitter nästan helt ensam i en dal på en skogsklädda sluttning. Det gör det mesta av lugn och ro, för att inte tala om den fantastiska utsikten över dalen och avlägset havet. Denna villa har utformats med synpunkter i åtanke. Stora fönster pryder rummen, de franska dörrarna öppnar på en upphöjd terrass, och även poolen kommer med en imponerande vista.

Poolen på Villa Golfinhos är liten men söt, med vackra mosaikband och romerska steg. Den kommer komplett med en suntrap på en terrass. Även om det finns en känsla av att vara borta från allt, kan de svepande Algarve stränderna nås på ungefär en halvtimme med bil.

En grillplats sitter på poolterrassen - perfekt för inte bara den utda al fresco måltiden, men också njut av panoramautsikt. Det rymliga matsalrummet är underbart - modernt men med en distinkt portugisisk stil. Köket är under tiden välutrustat.

Unforgettable view and relaxed pool days

We stayed 5 nights in this beautiful house in Monchique which is easy to get to, no terrible dirt roads, steep hills etc., which was quite important for us. The pool and the terrace are the best, we spend almost the whole time there. The house could use a little make over in the kitchen and the mattresses are very hard which is usual in Portugal but a problem if you are not used to it. Also the sun beds were not so nice any more. We used the grill which is a nice addition to the kitchen.You will be in nature, so be aware that there are a lot of ants, also if you keep the kitchen clean, and other insects.The owners reacted immediately when there was a problem with the pool.Overall we loved our stay, the pool, the view and the total calm made it unforgettable. I would come back!

Etwas in die Jahre gekommene, geräumige Villa mit toller Aussicht

Die Villa hat eine gute Aufteilung des Wohnbereiches, eine sehr großzügige Terrasse mit großartigem Blick bis an die Südküste, gutem Pool, guter Erreichbarkeit über eine gute Schotterstrasse und sehr ruhiger Lage. Die Küche könnte etwas mehr Beleuchtung vertragen, die Ausstattung derselben ebenfalls optimierbar, z.B. Handmixer und gute Pfannen. Die Innenausstattung ist geschmacksabhängig (älteres dunkles Mobiliar), m.E. für einen Urlaubsaufenthalt jedoch nicht weiter relevant. Die Terrasse und der Poolbereich sind mit adäquatem Mobiliar versehen. Der Kontakt mit den Besitzern über Fewo-App und Telefon ist sehr gut und zeitnah. Vielleicht wird ja demnächst der Kühlschrank, der sich durch permanentes, durch Austausches des Thermostates nicht behebbares Brummen auf sich aufmerksam machte, durch ein neues Gerät ersetzt? Zusammengefasst für Urlauber, die etwas abseits des Rummels wohnen wollen (Südküste in ca. 30 Min., Westküste in ca. 45 Min. und Monchique in ca. 7 Min. erreichbar), ein wunderbarer Ort zur Erholung!

Excellent Stay highly recommended

We all enjoyed a wonderful week in the house. Very well equipped. pool and bbq fantastic. Close to small town with supermarket. 30 min drive to most costal towns. Beds and mattresses could do with an up grade but did not spoil our holiday. We will definitely recommend and certainly be back. Highly recommend this house.

Die monumentale Aussicht

Was uns gut gefallen hat: Die Zimmeraufteilung, Ausstattung die monumentale Aussicht die Gegend, Ruhe und Stille die Lage der Villa gutes WLAN Was uns nicht gefallen hat: Bei Ankunft waren wir sehr enttäuscht, dass der Pool sehr schmutzig war und die Anlage von außen nicht so gepflegt wie erwartet war. Obwohl Sie sich Herr Zwiers sehr viele Mühe gegeben hatte, wurde das Wasser nicht gefiltert, anscheinend war die Umlaufwasserpumpe nicht in Ordnung oder defekt, das Poolwasser war schmutzig, und nicht klar, man konnte den Poolboden (an der 1m Stelle) nicht klar und deutlich sehen, teilweise kleine Moosansammlung am Pool. Die Duschbrause unten am Pool funktionierte nicht einwandfrei. Das Haus war schmutzig, es war besenrein aber nicht mit Wasser gewischt. Im Wohnzimmer und im großen Schlafzimmer waren Spinngewebe an der Decke und Wände am Tag der Ankunft, "Safe&Clean" ist anders. Wenig Pflege des Hauses, von Innen und Außen. Kein Willkommensgeschenk, Begrüßungsgeschenk Allein die Aussicht, Lage und die Gegend rechtfertigen nicht die Nachlässigkeit

Wunderschönes Häuschen mitten in der Natur

Wir durften im Casa Golfinhos sehr schöne und erholsame Ferien verbringen. Die umliegende Natur ist wunderschön für Spaziergänge geeignet. Das Ferienhaus war sehr gut gepflegt, und hat einen tollen Kamin. Dadurch war es auch bei kühlem und regnerischen Wetter sehr gemütlich und warm im Haus. In den Schlaf-Zimmern standen zusätzlich Heizkörper zur Verfügung. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.

Sternenhimmel, Pool und Ruhe

Wir waren alles im allem sehr zufrieden mit unserem Urlaub. Alles War liebevoll vorbereitet und das Haus mit allem ausgestattet was man so benötigt. Das Haus liegt perfekt für alle die die Ruhe, so wie wir genießen und einen wundervollen Blick übers Land bis zum Meer. Nacht sieht man Geckos die sich auf Insektenjagt machen und die Milchstraße. Wir waren nicht das letzte Mal da!

Vacation in Algarve

Great Villa with lovely pool,which we used daily. House had everything we needed. Close to town with a sensational view all the way down to the Atlantic. Very quiet area with no traffic. On the negative side, better mattresses would be a improvement.

Peaceful escape in the hills

Location was fabulous with beautiful views from the balcony and an excellent base for walks along easy tracks with stunning views. The villa was well appointed with everything needed in the kitchen and comfortable furniture. The pool was really cold, but that was reflective of the weather at the time. There were a few minor points - the shower was good but the cubicle needs a bit of attention, the cd player doesnt work, there was no facility for bluetooth, apparently Portugal does not permit streaming of IPlayer and there were no board games so evenings after dark were quiet (worth taking a speaker) We also found the double bed exceptionally hard (would have purchased a mattress improver if we were staying longer) However such things were insignificant compared to the beauty of the scenery and the peace and tranquility.

Séjour fantastique dans l'Algarve loin du tumulte

La maison aux allures typiques portugaises offre une vue exceptionnelle depuis la terrasse, une piscine en mosaïque au top, un changement de draps et serviettes au bout d'une semaine, une cuisine bien équipée, un environnement au calme, à à peine 30 min de très belles plages. Maria et son mari sont très réactifs, nous avons eu un problème de piscine, réglé le lendemain. A recommander fortement.

Beautiful Location

Great location. Close to the beautiful town of Monchique. The villa had everything we required to have an enjoyable family holiday. The kids loved it and we're never out of the pool. Supermarket and restaurants were about 5min drive away in Monchique. Around a 30min drive to the coast and waterparks. It was very hot during our stay and air conditioning would have been a welcome addition as the fans provided did little to cool us down. We had an issue with ants in the kitchen, but managed to resolve this. The kitchen was dated but added to the feature of the home. The sun loungers need to be upgraded and some tiles came loose in the pool. Overall, a great stay. We would be happy to return.

Fantastic location

We had a lovely stay at Villa Golfinhos. The house is located in a very quiet area and has a fantastic view from the terraces and the swimming pool. Restaurants, shops etc.can be found in the near area (by car).

Séjour entre amis

Il s'agit d'une belle propriété, la maison est jolie, la décoration un peu datée et les ventilateurs pas toujours suffisants pour faire baisser les températures élevées d'été. Emplacement en dehors des villes donc parfaits si vous recherchez le calme et la discrétion. Le barbecue et la piscine sont de parfaits atouts pour un super séjour. Le calme et la sérénité sont fort appréciables egalement ! Nous recommandons volontiers cette maison pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis . La propriétaire a été très aimable et disponible.

Séjour à Monchisue juin 2023

A notre arrivée, le lave linge en panne et le barbecue non nettoyé, les propriétaires ont été très réactifs. merci à eux. La vaisselle un peu juste pour 6 personnes. La piscine est super, mais nous n'avons pu en profiter que trois fois pour cause de mauvais temps, la région est superbe, belles randonnées.

a little paradies in the Monchique mountains

The villa is in a very quite location. The perfect spot to calm down and enjoy the nature of the beautiful area. The house comes with nearly everything you need. In the kitchen you'll find a coffee maker, microwave, oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The Dining and living room are spacious and you have the wonderful view overlooking the mountains. You can even see the ocean. On the terrace is a wonderful barbecue place just around the corner of the sitting area. So you won't get bothered by the smoke from the fire place. The pool is just awesome and there a enough sunbeds to work on your tan. Make sure you bring detergent for the washing machine.

We were 3 adults. Everyone of us had his own sleeping room with a double bed. Those are actually not that comfortable. But the rest of the house including a chimney, pool, huge garden, BBQ spot including a grill was awesome. Nothing beats that amazing view to Portimao and to the racetrack you don't have to pay extra for. All together I'd highly recommend that house. The hospitality by Maria and Frank was fantastic. We really enjoyed our week at Casa Golfinhos. The property was as we expected ( clean, well-equipped kitchen, ..), fairly central for visiting the coastal towns, and the view, simply gorgeous! Thank you Maria :)
