Rathbun Lake är en av Iovas största och finaste sjöar med över 11 000 tunnland vatten, 155 mil strandlinje, inbjudande vikar och fantastisk vattenkvalitet. Detta i kombination med det vackra ek- och hickoryvirket och tusentals tunnland återställda inhemska gräsmarker, ger en underbar miljö för att njuta av den stora naturen. Det finns 21 000 tunnland offentlig mark som erbjuder bad, båtliv, jakt, golf, stigar, åtta parker, småbåtshamn och terräng ATV-park. Stugan har ett stort delvis täckt däck på framsidan och en eldring i trädgården. Ett däck leder dig också ut genom bakdörren så att du får fullständig integritet när du är omgiven av virke på alla sidor. Stugan har också en tvättmaskin och torktumlare, diskmaskin och kylskåp i full storlek, WIFI med Hulu live och filmströmning. Den ligger på två partier som gränsar till sjön Rathbun i Antler Acres underavdelning med privat tillgång till en gångväg till sjön.

Perfect getaway

The home was beautiful and amazing . Quite , peaceful location . Amenities provided was wonderful . Love the barbecue, patio , and yard . The backyard fire pit was wonderful for s’mores . We will be returning and definitely will tell friends that this is highly recommended to stay for a retreat ! Thank You for such amazing experience

Enjoyed our stay. Check in was smooth. Cabin was clean with a well stocked kitchen for family dinners. Sheets and towels were clean and well stocked. Enjoyed hiking to the lake and family time around the fire pit. Would definitely visit again. Thanks again Scott!

Relaxing and Comfortable

I stayed here with my mother and daughter- We enjoyed staying at the Deer Run Rental. We were in the area for a wedding at Emerald Hills Events so we were busy and didn’t get to enjoy the property as much as we would have liked but I would absolutely return in the future. It felt very homey and comfortable inside with plenty of cooking supplies and a grill, comfortable beds, and even extra blankets and beach towels. Very quiet, lots of nature to see, the path down to the lake was beautiful we enjoyed wading and walking along the lake.

Great place close to Lake Rathbun

Excellent property close to Lake Rathbun. House was clean and in a nice area with easy access to get the boat to the boat ramp and plenty of room to park it in the evening.

Great stay! Close to boat ramp!

We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate a bday with family and friends. The cabin had everything we needed and the location was great. It was clean and kitchen was well stocked with dishes and etc. We really enjoyed it and plan to hopefully return next summer!

Great fishing get-away.

We found the home ready for us and well supplied with everything we needed. I appreciated the back-up propane tank for the grill as we needed it. Nice grill, by the way! Almost needed a stepstool to get in the bed! It was a fishing trip for myself and my three sons. Plenty of room to park the boat and two other cars. A less than 10-minute drive to the State Park boat ramp. Also brought two kayaks which we left hidden in the woods by the lake shore. No problems.

Nice Place

We liked the cabin. We loved how close to the shore of Rathbun Lake it is. Reasonable price for a getaway. The owner is exceptionally accommodating. Our original dates were going to have temperatures in the 100s. He allowed us to postpone so we could enjoy our vacation. Thank you so much Scott!!

Very nice and close to Lake Rathbun

Very quick with response on early check in request. House was very clean and well equipped. Close to Lake Rathbun where we had other family staying. We boated every day there. Would definitely go back.
