Mayflower Cottage Seahouses

What an amazing property in a fantastic location. The house had plenty of living space downstairs and there were ample beds and combinations for our family. We had a jam packed weekend walked to Bamburgh castle and caught the bus back to Seahouses. We went crabbing at Beadnell bay. We had a boat trip to the Farne Islands and played crazy golf so there is plenty to do locally.

Lovely stay

Great place lovely space for a group to socialise plenty of room and all the cooking equipment you would ever need, the 2 fridges came in handy and the welcome pack was amazing

Christmas family Getaway

Amazing property for 4 generations of our family. Fabulous location with great views and lots of little extras included. The property is spacious but also offers cosy warmth and comfort.

Great family get together!

The property was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. It was perfect for a family group. Pleasant 15 min walk along the sand dunes into Seahouses and great surrounding area to explore by car. Craster, taking in the walk to Dunstanburgh Castle was one of our highlights. Highly recommended!

Great house for larger groups

This was our second stay at the property. It's fabulous for larger group with plenty of space and it's really well equipped. It could do with a little refresh here and there but that wouldn't stop us booking again.

The Perfect Holiday!

The house is a perfect size for our family, and there is plenty of room to spread out. This is our third visit! The owner and housekeeper respond to any queries immediately. It is so convenient for the beach, the harbour and the shops! And as an added bonus the weather was amazing! We had a trip to the Farnes, and visited Warkworth Castle. Several sessions on the beach, including a glorious day on Bamburgh beach. The children loved the playground at Alnwick Castle and enjoyed swimming at the Ocean Club. And what’s a holiday if you don’t go on the slots!? There is so much to do in the area. Thank you!

Lovely family holiday at Mayflower

Plenty of space for everyone and a quick path walk past the little park to the lovely beach and sea. Loved the children’s play room and separate dining area, they had so much fun! Comfortable bedrooms for everyone and bathrooms spread out so everyone had their space! Handy restaurants and take aways nearby and the Ocean Club a treat to use with friendly staff.

Beautiful house in perfect location!

The house catered for our every need. Family and dog friendly, very close to a beautiful beach and a short walk to the pubs and restaurants in Seahouses. Welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The house is perfect for large family gatherings.

Great house for a superb family seaside holiday

Lovely well equipped house - we had a lovely stay with our extended family with two small children and a dog. The large open main lounge and the second lounge as a children's playroom was great. The house has an excellent location to get to the absolutely superb beach and to all the amenities in Seahouses and the the surrounding area.

Had an amazing stay at mayflower cottage with our family.

The house was great, so large, well equipped and the location brilliant. My grandchildren loved the short walk to the beach. We all love the northumberland coast line. Also a beautiful and well thought welcome pack was lovely. We will definitely book again.

Nana's 80th Birthday Weekend

Another brilliant stay at Mayflower Cottage. The location is great for access to the beach and Seahouses. We had lovely walks on the beach, great food in The Bamburgh Castle and Craster Arms, and lots of fun at games night in the cottage. All 10 of us, from 8 years to 80 years old sitting round the table playing cards and roulette.

Family holiday at Seahouses

We enjoyed our stay at Seahouses. The house was very nice and spacious. There was plenty room for a family group of 10 plus dog. It was well equipped and clean. The only downside was two rusty radiators. Having said that we would stay there again if we were in the area.

When not in Seahouses we live in the hills in West Yorkshire - beautiful but so far from the coast!
