Boka nu för alla årstider. Sommar 2019 datum just släppt, eller kom och kolla in oss för en helg i höst eller vinter! Vi köpte nyligen semesterdekorationer om du skulle vilja fira med din familj i vinter på The Flying Fish.

Flying Fish är en familjevänlig, fullt utrustade 4 sovrum, två badrum hem på dold pärla, alla sporter, Intermediate Lake. Ta med dina kläder och starta avkoppling! Vi har tänkt på allt. Båtentusiaster kan docka precis vid huset. Vi erbjuder kajaker och en vuxen och barnstorlek paddleboard att njuta av sjön, strand leksaker, gårdsspel, hängmatta och eldstaden utanför. Foosball bord, brädspel, pussel, kabel-tv, Netflix, Amazon Fire Stick, WiFi, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii och Game Cube, var och en med flera spel, för inomhusglädje på regniga dagar. Fullt utrustat kök med gourmetartiklar, inklusive kökshjälpblandare, bländare etc. Beläget inom gångavstånd till livsmedelsbutiker, restauranger, bar, och båtuthyrning. Utforska Övre Chain of Lakes från gården eller resa ner på gatan för Torch Lake och hela Lower Chain of Lakes. Central Lake ligger cirka 30 minuter från Charlevoix och 45 minuter från Traverse City. En vecka på Flying Fish erbjuder gott om avkoppling och roligt på stranden och på sjön, samt en chans att utforska allt som norra Michigan har att erbjuda.

Detta är verkligen ett året runt hem, med massor av aktiviteter i närheten hela året. På hösten kan du njuta av färgerna på sjön och i närliggande städer och landsvägar. Besök lokala vingårdar, bryggerier, meaderies och destillerier på Torch Lake Tour (http: // www. Torchlaketour. Com /). Gå äpple och pumpa plockar på King Orchards (de har vad som verkar som miles av Honey Crisp trees för dig-pick!) Det finns gott om lokala spår för vandring och cykling på våren, sommaren och höst och längdskidåkning på vintern. Vi är 15 minuter från Shanty Creek och en halvtimme från Schuss Mountain och Boyne Mountain för skidor och slangar på vintern! Det finns en eldstad utanför och en vedspis inuti. De lägre våningarna golv uppvärms också på vintern. Vi strävar också efter att uppdatera inredningen för varje säsong.

Lake vacation

We had a lovely stay. The house is just as pictured. Plenty of room for our family & comfortable sleeping arrangements. The kitchen & living areas are very well equipped.The sandy beach front was great for swimming. The kayaks & paddleboards were a fun bonus & we appreciated they're availably for our use. We did bring a boat & docked at the house. The dock is very nice & there is a public boat ramp just around the corner.

Quiet picturesque getaway

Incredible place to stay. Beautiful view, quaint downtown and close to many sites..Hosts are awesome and have a great attention to detail and make you feel at home in a relaxing atmosphere with so much to do or simply relax. You will want to return.

Lovely cottage

This cottage is absolutely perfect. It was extremely clean, easy to get to and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. This would be a great place for couples, groups, families and anyone, young or older to stay. The yard would be good for kids and the beach is very nice and clean as well. Easy drives to Torch Lake, Elk Rapids, Traverse City and Charlevoix. I would highly recommend!

Weekend with friends

The property was perfect for a getaway with friends.The kitchen was well stocked just like the description. The beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of towels and washcloths supplied for everyone. Angela was very helpful and promptly answered our questions. We would love to come back again.

Girls' Weekend

This house was perfect for our girls' weekend. A great location to go to Traverse City or Petosky for the day. The weather was disappointing so we weren't able to enjoy the lake or outdoors. That was a bummer, but we found plenty of other things to do. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful family vacation

This property was very spacious and well-equipped. We had hours of fun in the water and on the sand, and we especially enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards. We ate most of our meals on the deck with the beautiful lake view. The foosball table was a nice bonus for the kids in the evenings. We had a great stay and would love to return!

Private, quiet oasis on Intermediate Lake

Our family of 10 enjoyed our stay at The Flying Fish. The home was comfortable and spacious with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kayaks, paddle boards, hammock, and the lakefront were all big hits! Angela was a gracious host, and communicated really well about all The Flying Fish had to offer. Intermediate Lake is a clean, quiet lake with plenty of space to explore.

House, Lake & Loons

If you’re looking for a perfect get-a-way on a gorgeous lake then this place is for you, your love ones and friends. My husband with our out of state friends rented this house in mid-May. We do this every year and we all agree this is the best one yet. This house is big and fully stocked. You need not bring anything except your packed suitcase and perhaps beach towels. These hosts thought of everything for their guests’ comfort and entertainment. Very clean and roomy. The location is perfect, just a mile to a small town which has a grocery store and quaint boutiques, a 5&10 store and much more. The area has rolling green hills with curving roads that will take you to other lake towns. Kings Orchard Market is a must stop for fresh in season vegetables and bakery. The week we stayed had the most miserable cold rainy weather. We were not able to do any outdoor activities however we did everything we planned to do. The one day it was halfway decent we rented a pontoon from Bedell’s Crossing Marina. We paid @ 325 plus gas and tax for a full day. Note-cash only. Walt does not accept credit cards…at least in May. He also has all kinds of water craft for rentals. It’s best to reserve a boat. We saw 5 loon nests all occupied, we were thrilled! All in all we had a great vacay, albeit the poor weather but we highly recommend this VRBO! Loved every minute!

Book This House! This is IT!

100/100. We absolutely love this home and will book again in the future. Not one item or need not covered at this home. It is perfect!! We had a mixed group of family and everyone loved it. We played board games every night and cooked and ate together. We made memories. The hosts are WONDERFUL and kind and helpful. I highly recommend them.

A great time had by all.

My family of 11 had a great time. We found the 2 separate living areas wonderful. The kids had a space where they could go and the adults had a separate space. The outdoor shower was a great addition! It helped to keep the sand out of the house. With a group as large as ours it was nice to have the extra fridge downstairs. The water was sandy until about the end of the dock. Great outdoor area for the kids.

We'd love to come back!

Women's kayak group stayed for a long weekend of kayaking. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our potluck dinner, and this home is comfy and cozy. The location is great! Our first day we traveled to St Clair Lake to launch, kayaked through Six Mile Lake and back; very beautiful. Second day we planned to launch from the beach, but it was too rainy, windy and cold for any kayaking. But there's plenty to do in the area. Some went hiking, some went shopping and beachcombing, some just exploring. When I got back to the house after a long day beachcombing in the rain and wind, I got a warm fire burning in the wood stove in the great room, sipped my tea and looked out at Intermediate lake from my comfy perch on the sofa.. We'll definitely come back!

Solid Stay in Northern Michigan

We had a nice stay at this property. Convenient location, sand beach was nice with a rake to clean up the lake debris, all the y out ya you’ll need, and lots of sleeping options. We had two under 3 with us downstairs, and the other adults upstairs. Worked well! Two fridges for groceries and drinks. One situation we had was lots of wasps from the apple trees in each corner of the property. These apples would also surprise you as they fell into the porch. Certainly a seasonal condition. This didn’t impact anytime at the beach but you needed to be sure footed closer to the house.

Family Reunion

We had a great week staying here. It is nicely located so that Traverse City and Petosky are easy drives. A relatively short 90 minute drive has you in the parking lot for the ferry to Mackinac Island. The cabin itself is beautifully located with a nice lawn leading to the lake. It is very spacious and nicely laid out with two bedrooms having views of the lake. The kitchen is well stocked with most any utensil you may need and there was a good supply of everyday condiments and household/bath necessities that you may need. There are lots of games downstairs and the large kitchen table was great for family game night. Outside in the yard there is a nice bonfire pit that we made use of (probably best to buy dry wood from somewhere) and despite it being October our daughters even took one of the kayaks out on the lake for good while. The only hitch we had was being able to reach Angela after we booked but that was a VRBO issue and not an Angela issue, lol. After we finally got in touch with her, communication was very good.

Large but cozy retreat ready for a peaceful getaway or a family gathering

Flying Fish is a delightful gem! One step inside this clean and updated home, you’ll see many windows and doors open onto a view of the lake (that never gets old!). You also realize the owners have thought of everything: the unique long bench just inside the door, hooks, benches and mirrors in every room, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable new furniture (inside & out) and extensive entertainment options. You’ll also find fun touches throughout, such as a wall mounted bottle opener ( it works!), wood headboards and skis on the wall. The second living space is cool and would be ideal if we had another family or our kids with us. We didn’t detect the typical lower level smell you’ll find in many waterfront homes. After driving down the idyllic pine needle covered driveway, sitting on the expansive quiet deck or spending time on the sandy beach, you’d never believe a grocery store, marina, old fashioned 5 & dime, pizza or ice cream shop are only a few minutes drive away .... but they are! You’ll also find good restaurants, bars and dessert options nearby (check out Short’s, Mammoth Distillery and Ruthann’s Bakery). There is much to do in the area- we enjoy Barnes State Park for swimming in Lake Michigan or just walking along the shore. Flying Fish is an inviting home where you can truly relax and get comfortable. The owner, Angela, is terrific- communication is easy and fast. She emailed helpful specifics about the property, but was also happy to answer my questions. We hope to come back- next time with our kids. Thank you Angela and Tim for sharing Flying Fish!

Perfect Family Retreat

This was a perfect place for our family to gather and spend time playing games and enjoying nature. The house has a nice gathering area around a big kitchen overlooking the lake and many comfy beds. Everyone loved it.

Labor Day at the Flying Fish

What a perfect location!!! The cabin was very roomy plenty of room for my family. The beds were very comfortable they provided sheets and towels.....Loved the sheets! Best part we were able to bring our tritoon and tie up at the dock. They have a wonderful sandy beach where we could sit with our feet in the water and watch the sunsets. They also provide kayaks, paddle boards and life jackets. My family had a wonderful time, and we will definitely be back next year!!

The Flying Fish was a great find on Intermediate Lake. Angela was quick to respond and very helpful. Great location on lake, and loved the view. Cottage /house was very clean and everything stated on site. Enjoyed kayaks, corn hole, fooseball, fire pit and deck along with everything else available! Would stay again!

Excellent stay

The flying fish exceeded our expectations over and above! My family had a great time! We skied, tubed, went fishing, went Kayaking had sunset boat rides and had a fire every night. Angela was easy to communicate with and answered any questions that we had. Would highly recommend this place. We are hoping to come back next year!

Great house and experience

We just stayed for 2 days, visiting our parents but it was a great house. Very spacious, lots of beds for all of our kids. The owner responded and communicated quickly, if I had a question. The house was clean, well stocked and perfect for our quiet weekend.

The Flying Fish is owned by Angela and Tim and Angela's dad, Rick. Angela and Tim are the proud parents (and Rick the proud grandpa) of 2 daughters, ages 15 and 11. We all have fond memories of visiting family cabins in northern Michigan. We want the same for our children and we hope to extend the memories to your family and friends as well. We purchased the Flying Fish because life is busy! It’s hard to find time to truly unplug and focus on having fun together as a family and with our extended family and friends. We know that this is just going to get more challenging as the kids age and become involved in more and more activities. Our goal is to create an environment at the house where the kids want to go and spend time and have fun with us and where we all want to come with our friends to have fun and reconnect.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We have been traveling to various locations in Northern Michigan our whole lives. Tim grew up on a lake in Lapeer and has always dreamed of owning a place on the water. Angela learned to ski at Shanty Creek, Boyne Mountain, and Boyne Highlands. We also enjoy trips to Traverse City as a family and Charlevoix, Petoskey, Mackinaw City and the Sleeping Bear Dunes are always fun as well. The location in Central Lake on Intermediate Lake combines all of these amenities in the yard or within a short drive.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We loved this home from the minute we walked through the door. Wonderful lake views from the wrap-around deck, with multiple french doors to catch the breeze off the lake. The pine ceiling and wood floors give the up-north cabin feel we were looking for in a vacation home. We have tried to think of everything to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. There is plenty to do outside and in - kayaks, paddleboards, plenty of beach toys, a hammock, a foosball table, many board games, and several video game systems. We also have several toys for babies and small children and 2 pack and plays and a high chair, so you won't have to lug everything with you! There is fun for the whole family! We have updated the lower level with new flooring and we have purchased new furniture in much of the home. The upper (newly remodeled!) kitchen and lower bar area are fully stocked even adding some more gourmet items like a Kitchen Aid mixer, for the chefs in your group. Let us know if you would like something added to the house. We are constantly trying to update and add amenities for all to enjoy!
