The nicest place we’ve been to on Long Island.

Beautiful home right on the water with all the amenities you could want. Very clean. The fridge has filtered water which is a luxury we appreciated. Really excellent vacation home.

Great views from wonderful shaded veranda

Property was clean, easy check in, nice amenities (shower, bathrooms, A/C). Great views from very nice shaded veranda. Beach very small and almost unusable due to waves. However, nearby Stella Maris Resort has a nice beach, pool, and restaurant.

Free 3 beautiful ocean views

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Free 3. Paulette was an absolute joy to work with, and we appreciate her patience and responsiveness. Free 3 has wonderful ocean views and is very close to the Stella Maris Resort and Moonshine Bar. We very much recommend.

Outstanding Home

Free3 is a beautiful spacious 3 bedroom 3 bath home directly on the ocean. Modern construction with all the amenities. It was very clean and well stocked. Large spacious covered porch with chairs and tables overlooking ocean. Paulette, the property manager is a gem! Very efficient, responsive and will go out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. Highly recommend this property!

Vacation in Paradise

We all absolutely loved this property and location. Only problem was we wanted to stay forever!!! Everyone connected to the house was helpful and welcoming. If we needed anything, we had someone there quickly to address it. Hearing and watching the waves crashing on the coral rocks day and night was amazing. Internet was intermittent at best, but we understand this has been fixed.

Relaxing & Peacful

This property is in a great location, is well-kept, and has everything needed for a relaxing Bahamas out-island vacation. The only thing we found annoying was the intermittent internet connection which made it impossible to enjoy a television program or movie. However, the internet did function well enough to use computers to stay in touch with business needs and friends. We would definitely have no problem staying there again.

Very clean place. Nice location. Beware the Long Island roads! Be nice to have a large container drinking water setup instead of buying small plastic containers. Ocean front is rocky with crashing waves and small sandy beaches. Lots of trash. Overall the house great and very comfortable

Nirvana!

Compelled and somewhat conflicted, in posting how wonderful this place is. My husband and I rented this wonderful home for a month to revisit beautiful Long Island 20+ years after going for our 10th anniversary. Couldn’t have been happier. Paulette is the absolute best, helping us prepare for the extended stay and ensuring strong Wi-Fi for remote work. Our on island contact Glen was there to help with any questions we had, whenever we had them. And shout out to Fiona‘s amazing bread! Loved, loved, loved!

Three free

Beautiful location and the patio has a breathtaking view! The island is 80 miles long and there is so many wonderful spots to see. They are correct that it is one of the most scenic islands in the Bahamas. Paulette was great about getting back to us on any questions. Provided us with beach bags, coolers and chairs upon my request ...great for beach hopping. Care taker Glen and Cheryl were helpful as well. The house is new and well kept. As in the Bahamas everyone here is extremely friendly! We stayed five weeks and we’re not ready to go home. Long Island is a very laid-back island and a great place to relax and reflect. The beaches are plentiful and the Cape Santa Maria and Gordon’s are great for shelling. I would recommend this house to everyone!

Perfect Stay on Long Island

Like others who have provided reviews of Free Three, we would almost rather keep quiet about how great it is! Pre-arrival communication was prompt and informative, even considering the fact I didn’t reach out until a couple of days before our arrival. Check in consisted of arriving at the house - everything was immaculate and the keys were waiting for us.The location is within walking distance of the Stella Maris resort property, which has dining and a beach bar available. While Free Three is not isolated, you have privacy and quiet. Free Three is on the Atlantic side, which we actually preferred, as the ocean breeze was lovely to fall asleep to and kept bugs at bay.The house is exceedingly clean and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed being able to eat on the back porch overlooking the ocean. The internet is very speedy and we had no connectivity issues during our stay. Each room has an A/C unit - all appeared to be relatively new and worked very well. No funny smells or annoying noises.We rented a car in order to explore Long Island and it was great to be able to return to Free Three each evening and enjoy a relaxing dinner listening to the ocean. All in all, this was one of the best vacation rental experiences we have had.

Relaxing Paradise

We had a wonderful time at Free-3. The home is located in an ideal setting for anyone wanting to watch and listen to the waves, relaxing on the porch after a day of sun, sand, beach, and exploring. The house was perfect for our group - pictures do not do it justice. The house was spotless, everything worked, towels and linens were clean, and the little touches throughout demonstrated how much everyone cares about the property. Our week passed by too quickly. We highly recommend this house to everyone looking to have an enjoyable, relaxing time in paradise!

Excellent house - extremely clean and highly functionable

Very enjoyable stay. The house was probably the cleanest home we have ever stayed in. Spotless. Paulette was extremely helpful if we had any questions. Very impressive as immediate attention was given. Home is in a lovely neighborhood - conducive to stores and drive to the best beaches and great proximity to Stella Maris airport. Could not have been easier Thank you for making our stay such an enjoyable one

Great homebase on the island!

This property was a great find. The owners/managers were attentive and provided everything that we needed for a great stay! We drove around the island quite a bit and it was great to come back to this house at the end of every day.

Great Property with amazing view

This house was a complete joy to stay, the property was beautiful, once of the nicest houses on the island. Everything was perfect! The house has been completely renovated, the interior was beautiful and modern with stateside style finish. The furniture was all new and modern, as was the furnishings inside. The fridge was a beautiful French door unit with freezer in the bottom that worked great!! Each room had its own split unit for Air Conditioning, which made the hot days very pleasant! The towels and bedding were very clean and soft! The Bathrooms were well stocked and functioned properly with good water pressure and temperature, not common for on the island! Overall, the best house I have staid in on the island with having made dozens of visits over the last ten years! Highly recommend it!

Perfect Family Beachhouse

The views from the porch and paths to the ocean are spectacular! The close Moonshine bar and restaurant with pool, ocean pool, playground and walkways to the ocean add other amenities. The house was wonderful for a family with 2 1/2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a beautiful, efficient living and dining space.. The porch was child-proof. The caretaker was very attentive, and Paulette , the realtor, answered my many ?'s promptly and was extremely attentive to my requests. She went beyond to help me. I would definitely stay in this beautiful house again. Now I await my damage deposit.

January 2019 Stay

Very nicely designed home with an amazing elevated view of the ocean. Little things like the kitchen cabinetry being elevated from the floor help to keep the floors clean. We've been visiting Long Island for about 10 years and this is the cleanest home we've rented. Glen the caretaker checks in, empties any trash from the outside bucket, and is responsive, as is Paulette. We would rent this home again.
