Great Cabin!

We had a wonderful stay here! We were looking for a quiet and relaxing get away and we got it. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a memorable stay. We made use of the hot tub, sauna and game room but we most enjoyed sitting in the sun room and looking out the beautiful windows. Would definitely come back.

Lovely little escape!

Short stay but wonderful time

House was exactly what described. Property was very clean, welcoming and cozy. Have rented many homes and have to say this one was probably the cleanest. Had a great time and would definitely rent again.

Lovely place to spend the long weekend

We had an awesome time hanging out here. Very comfortable space to stay in when it was very cold out. We definitely took advantage of the coffee maker and all the other kitchenware you could ask for. Magnificent view!

lovely, restful long weekend

Our family of 5 had a very comfortable and relaxed stay in this lovely mountain house. The hot tub was great. My kids loved the game room and played hours of ping pong, the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed, the light and views were wonderful and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely recommend to others! Thanks very much!

Beautiful, quiet, private

We loved our stay. The location was remote, but only eight miles from the town of Margaretville. Easy to get into town and then escape to this beautiful mountain home. The hot tub and sauna were immaculate and the one bed we slept in (in the loft) very comfortable. We used the wood stove every day and it was so easy to start and keep burning. Bought wood in town and gathered some on the property.Went on some great hikes 20-40 minutes away by car. We want to return!

Marvelous Margaretville Mini Vacay!

My family and I enjoyed a magnificent mountainous fall getaway at Esther's enchanting chalet! The property is gorgeous and private. It was just what we needed to relax after a busy start to the school year. The house has so many amenities including the hot tub, sauna, and game room. We enjoyed spinning records on the classic record players. The decor was mod and inviting. so close to some cute towns and hikes. When we returned from town, we were pleasantly surprised to see five deer hanging by the swimming pond! Esther was responsive and welcoming with personal touches. We would definitely recommend a stay to anyone who is interested in a chill pad with many perks!

Great Place to stay in the Catskills

Great area for hiking and enjoying the outdoors. The record player is awesome and we had a ton of fun playing table tennis when we weren't out enjoying the hot tub by the fire.

House is in a beautiful secluded area. The house is extremely bright with lots of windows and sunshine. Close by grocery and liquor shopping was conveniently located in Margaretville. Neat area farm stands selling meat, vegetables, honey, cheese, etc. we’re plentiful and shouldn’t be missed.

Fabulous

Thanks for a great stay! The place was comfortable and impeccably clean. Beautiful home and area overlooking the mountains. The pond was very brown and scummy when we got there, so we didn’t use it, but we enjoyed ourselves regardless. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. We bought extra fans, but didn’t need them. The house was cool enough at night and with the fans provided, we were comfortable. Only thing I’d say is that most of the lightbulbs were out in the house, but we made do. Great experience!

Quiet in the moutains

We had a great stay at the property. There was alot to do in this region in NYC. The house was really beautiful with stocked kitchen, game room, sauna, and hot tub. Esther was very responsive and ensured we had a great stay. We'd be back again

Beautiful place perfect getaway

Well when we first got there we were unable to get into the house we thank God we have the garage door it’s OK we got in the Home started putting your stuff in the fridge raider and seeing what they had in the pantry unfortunately had a horrible and problem they he left the sugar out so they will pick Carpenter and say everywhere we had to deal with all weekend we also realize there was no AC units anywhere on the property it was very hot in the house unbearable so we stayed out most of the day of course and then as I was sitting outside on their Picnic table and one of the pieces of wood collapsed not fun …. House was equipped with everything would’ve been nice if the homeowner told us there was no AC thank God they have fans in their garage still was 90 something degrees in the house even at night At least one 12 o’clock rolls around it got cooler thank God

One of our all time favorites in the Catskills

Fantastic place. Spacious, privacy, big windows w big views, great amenities (sauna, hot tub, play room w ping pong), very well equipped kitchen and in a part of the Catskills that has more and more to offer (Andes, Bovina, …)

great getaway

The house was spectacular and clean. Great views and lots to do including hot tub, sauna, ping pong, shuffleboards. Well stocked kitchen. Host was very accommodating and was flexible with our checkout due to a snowstorm. We loved it here and highly recommend!
