I say Hideaway because of the somewhat remote location and the approach by way of single track roads, one of which is through a ford, easily manageable if the water is not running high. This ensures, however, utter peace and tranquility and we found it delightful. Hence our second return visit. The hostess is very considerate and leaves a more than ample welcome basket to see guests through breakfast the day after arrival. The barn is large and comfy, very well equipped, has two bedrooms and bathrooms, living room and loft with a sofa and shelves of books, TVâs, kitchen and eat-in area. The kitchen is very well equipped. Debbie, the owner, noticed we were not properly prepared for the very cold, windy and rainy weather which made the night-time concerts we were attending in a tent pretty uncomfortable, so she loaned me a vest/gilet and cardigans to keep me from freezing during the concerts until I could get to a shop to buy a cozy fleece.
