Great Stay close to Chania, Spotless, and great location
Home Away From Home is the least to say about this property. Perfect home, spotless, very very comfortable, close to beach and everything Platanias could offer. Vangelis was waiting for us at the property which is actually a boutique hotel and professionally managed. Seamless check-in, complementary bottle of wine and Raki. Peaceful and quite, very clean and tastefully decorated unit. 5 stars the least to say, very well appointed. pool was very clean and perfect. Note to management though to consider that salt, pepper, sugar, small bottle of olive oil and oregano (we are in Greece) are essential to any VRBO property and that's why we choose them over a standard hotel room and that's the norm in any European/North American cities we had visited. As well, being on the beach, an umbrella and 2 fold chairs is a must, communal Gas BBQ is a must and easily fit the space in between villas. I have noticed that all our neighbors started their morning with breakfast in the balcony, we need to fry few eggs and sausages, we need to throw a steak on a BBQ or a piece of fish from the bounty of the beautiful sea... we had a great time and wonderful property and management. They do clean the rooms and change towels, collect trash every 2 nights, great job.

He was very helpful and suggested two nice restaurants and both were a big hit. Mithos and Livadi (hopefully I got the spelling right), both offered great food, amazing service at reasonable price and superb friendly staff and owners and complementary dessert and Raki or Raki+Honey combo.
