Våra tre sovrum / tre badrum lyxkabin ligger bredvid vår gettergård, omgiven av 46 hektar mild gräsmatta, hem till 60 (och räkna) nigerianska dvärggetter och en stor fluga frittgående kycklingar.

Inuti våra tre sovrum, tre badrum stuga, möter modern rustik. I vardagsrummet ger en mysig plats att bosätta sig i samtal eller en bok vid den öppna spisen. Vår fullt utrustade köket öppnar till matsalen med en fin utsikt över gården och fotografier av begåvade lokala naturfotograf, Steve Cox.

Vårt sovrum svit är verkligen magnifik. Sovrummet har en king size-säng, takhöjden, en walk in closet och stora takfläktar; massor av fönster kan du vakna upp försiktigt för att naturligt ljus om du så önskar. Sovrumsväggarna är hängda med en fantastisk fiberartad del av Martina Celerin (betecknad så lämpligt, "En promenad i skogen"). Befälhavaren badrummet finns både ett hörn jacuzzi med fönster med utsikt över våra åkrar på båda sidor och ett rymligt fullt kaklat dubbel dusch.

Klättra upp trappan på övervåningen, avskilt i ett större sovrum med tre enkelsängar, en fullstor futon soffa / säng och ett angränsande men ändå separat område, fyllt med yogamattor och pilatesboll som kan användas som lugn meditation eller yoga studio.

För större grupper, finns det en annan sluten sovrum med en king size-säng på bottenvåningen.

Koppla av i bekväma utemöbler, vår dubbla hängmatta eller bosätta sig i gunga på den stora främre däck med utsikt över tunnland och tunnland betesmark och vår lager damm. Eller äta middag på baksidan däck med utsikt över försiktigt sluttande betesmark som leder till Salt Creek. Här på Goat Conspiracy, är du bara en kort promenad till fiske, vandring, cykling, kajak och kanot.

Vår lyxiga stuga är perfekt för en smekmånad eller en get away för någon enskild, par eller grupp av vänner. Vi välkomnar dig till Goat Conspiracy Cabin att uppleva fred, lugn och även spänning som vistas på vår vackra hem på vår gård kan ge dig.

High School Fishing Tournament

The house worked perfectly for 2 adults and 4 teens competing in fishing tournaments at Lake Monroe. Teens loved the pond. Plenty of land for the trucks and boats. House was very clean and well stocked and everything was as advertised. House has a unique layout. Hosts were very responsive. We will definitely book again for another tournament.

Quick Weekend Getaway

Our book club stayed here for a weekend away and it was a great time. The cabin was nice and I highly recommend scheduling a tour at the goat sanctuary. It was a highlight of our weekend.

Lovely stay in rural America

We enjoyed our quick winter visit at this updated cabin. We were able to disconnect from the world and take some time for ourselves in nature. It was extremely cold while we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors as much as we would have liked but were able to read our books and cozy up by the easy to operate gas fireplace. This sustainable home had all we needed with a special welcoming touch at our arrival which was so kind! Given the extreme temps the house was very cold upon arrival and it took almost 12 hours to get up to 65 degrees and the unique floor plan did seem to limit airflow from the front to the back of the house . I imagine the lovely vaulted ceilings and ample fans would help distribute air in the summer heat.A few well placed night lights would be a nice touch for families traveling with young children given the darkness of the house at night.Check in and out was super easy and we would stay here again- but likely in spring when we could open windows and not rely on the central HVAC system. A lovely home on a lovely farm!

Nice but not so nice

The house was beautiful must not be rented out often as it was infested with flies that were mainly trapped by traps in the windows but that didn’t stop the dead flies from falling on the floor and within the beds throughout our stay. The property is also listed as having a hot tub within the VRBO website one filtering for properties that have hot tubs. The house did not have hot tub.

Fantastic

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin had more than enough space for our family. Great location, we really enjoyed watching the goats from our windows. We did tour the goat sanctuary next door, highly recommend to anyone who loves animals. Our kids loved playing all the games in the cabin. The fireplace made it nice and cozy. Also, that master suite is incredible. Would definitely stay in this cabin again!

Unplug and relax

It was truly like home away from home but without all of our daily responsibilities. Absolutely the most perfect distance to get to Nashville for shopping, Brown County State Park for hiking and the other scenic drives that we wanted to do to take in the fall colors.

Wonderful, clean and fun stay

We loved this home. The peacefulness, the bunnies, deer, goats and chickens. The pond has beautiful lilly pads all over it. The house has so many games for kids. Many movies to choose from with a stocked kitchen that is better than we have ever had. We will definitely stay here again. The goats were so friendly and came when we called them. You can see them right out in the field behind the house. Deer just crossing through the yard. We really didn’t want to leave! Very nice people that run it!❤️❤️❤️ you and your family will have an amazing time if you stay here.

Thankful Thanksgiving

My partner and I decided months ago that we wanted to getaway during Thanksgiving. Our criteria included a beautiful cabin in the woods that had everything we could ever want and need. This cabin home exceeded our expectations. Every amenity, every piece of art, the majestic layout of the master bathroom and bath were everything we hoped for. The story behind this farmstead and cabin is inspiring. Nicole provided excellent communication prior to and throughout our stay. We will return to this beautiful space again. Without hesitation, I recommend all (couples, families, friends) check out this space for a delightful getaway.

Heaven in Indiana

This property was the best experience I have ever had with any of the rentals I have used. The property owners were very hands on and personable. They felt like family. We are planning a return trip to this magnificent property. The goats and chickens were a daily fun for us to watch and pet. This property is a must.

Beautiful and Peaceful Cabin

This cabin is awesome! I spent the weekend with my dad and brother and we were very happy with our pick. We caught fish in the pond, grilled steaks on the grill, and enjoyed some activities nearby. The cabin is spacious, clean, and has everything you need. You'll definitely want to spend some time in the morning and evening on the covered porch enjoying the views and sounds of nature.

We plan on coming back to The Goat Conspiracy

Our family had a great time during our stay. We enjoyed waking up to watching the chickens running around and the goats playing while waiting for feeding time. We also very much enjoyed fishing in the pond. My 11-year-old son caught a large bass and it happened to be the biggest fish he has ever caught. The cabin is spacious and beautiful. We enjoyed using the kitchen and had a bit of a birthday celebration for my mother in law. We also enjoyed running into the shops in Nashville so she could do a little shopping. Nicole was very helpful and responsive when we had a question and left a very nice gift basket on the counter for our arrival. Overall, I couldn't recommend The Goat Conspiracy more. It is wonderful place to get away and relax.

Beautiful place between Bloomington and Nashville

We truly enjoyed our stay at this spacious and beautiful cabin on a quaint goat farm. Loved the smell of fresh cedar every time we walked in. This could be a positive or negative but the owners are very clear there is no wifi. There also is very poor signal for Verizon (back porch is best location if needing to access). But to us this was a positive as we have 4 teen boys and disconnecting can be a challenge! Loved the farm fresh eggs, goat milk soap, and other samples of local food and art (displayed in the home). I'm sure we'll be back!

Weekend with the Goats

We spent a long weekend on this amazing property. A wonderful retreat with all you could ever need. We enjoyed the fresh air, the goats and chickens. The dogs made us feel right at home. Nicole and Mark were wonderful and left a delicious care package. The master suite and bathroom were icing on the cake for us. The property is perfectly located equally between Bloomington and Nashville which was very convenient. We will return when we want to unwind and relax down the road.

Absolutely ideal - the cabin, the farm, the amenities...

The Goat Sanctuary cabin was the ideal destination for our family get together - with a son at IU and two other adult children, the cabin provided the perfect place for us to reconnect. We spent many hours by the fireplace catching up, playing board games and watching movies. The cabin is spacious, and the kitchen was appointed with everything we needed to feed a large group. The entire weekend was the most memorable of all we've spent in the Bloomington area. Looking forward to our next trip to Bloomington and more time spent at the cabin!

So relaxing!

My friends and I came up for a birthday "girls" weekend and had the best time. The cabin is huge and on amazing land - the pictures do not begin to show the real beauty. We took advantage of the offered farm tour and enjoyed learning about all the different four-legged residents! I would highly recommend this spot for a special place to "get away from it all."

The house was very nice but we did not realize that there is no WiFi or cable for the television.

we were disappointed that there were not enough supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels or garbage trash bags. Also, it is a 2 bedroom with an open loft not a 3 bedroom.

Comfortable, roomy, modern log structure home in rural farm setting

The home offered very comfortable environment for 6 of us, three generations, for a family get together. We throrougly enjoyed our stay and would return again next year. Unique experience, high quality property, and great hosts

Very pleased with the stay. I had high expectations after reading all the other 5 star reviews and was not disappointed. Nicole was very responsive and a wonderful host. The property was very nice and in excellent condition. It was well supplied with just about all the basics we needed. We went as part of a guys trip, but I could see this place be absolutely excellent for a family, the master bedroom (and bathroom) is amazing.

Great log home in a great location

We had a fabulous time at Nicole's cabin. The cabin itself is beautiful inside and out. Had a great time fishing, walking and touring the goat farm. We love the soap. My wife bought five bars. My son and his girlfriend have never fished and this pond on the property was perfect. You actually catch fish. Lot of one pound + bass put up just enough of a fight. The cabin sleeps eight so I was a bit shocked when VBRO charged us another $250.00 for my son and his girlfriend. Went from $277.00/nite to $400.00/nite. Didn't know that's how it worked. Not sure if all these sites do that but next time I will be ready. Would definitely go again but probably just my wife and I.

Very Peaceful Luxury Cabin in the Country

My husband and I stayed here memorial day weekend 2018. We had family in the area that came to the cabin and visited. The cabin itself is gorgeous. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It felt peaceful and quiet. The property was gorgeous. We loved sitting on the porch in the evening, listening to crickets and frogs, waiting for the lightning bug light show. My husband caught a lot of fish in the fully stocked pond. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from it all. Additionally, we were able to tour the goat farm and LOVED petting the goats. The owners were very accommodating and available, but they also gave us a lot of space.

Wonderful + Scenic Property!

Our family of 5 stayed at this beautiful property while visiting our eldest son at college. It is truly a wonderful and peaceful spot with great views. The expansive front porch is a great place to relax and listen to nature. The pond in front is a fun little spot to spend some time fishing. We had a wonderful tour by Nicole of our neighboring goats. They were very fun + cute, it was a great experience. The house is large and clean and better than pictured with great local artesian details thru out. The beds are very comfortable and the upper loft area was large, perfect for kids and filled with fun games. Nicole was great and was available to answer any questions we had and provide the tour of the cute goats. We are defiantly planning to come back and stay again soon!
