Nyrenoverat Charentaise Farmhouse med privat pool och stora trÀdgÄrdar

Le Petit Sorin Àr en vacker Charentaise bondgÄrd i 2. 5 hektar, byggdes 1897 i hjÀrtat av Charente-Maritime-regionen i sydvÀstra Frankrike. GÄrden, poolen, terrasserna och trÀdgÄrdarna har omsorgsfullt och omfattande restaurerats under 2018 och nuvarande boende pÄ hela bondgÄrden, poolen och trÀdgÄrden för upp till 18 gÀster.

GÄrden fördelar sig frÄn tvÄ helt nya stora och fullt utrustade kök och matplats, tvÄ vardagsrum och antingen dubbel eller tvÄbÀddsrum (och ett rum med tvÄ enkelsÀngar och en vÄningssÀng idealisk för barn). Fyra av sovrummen Àr badrum med de ÄterstÄende sovrummen som har enkel tillgÄng till eget badrum. Alla badrum Àr fullt möblerade med duschar, bassÀnger och toaletter och dessutom finns ett badrum pÄ bottenvÄningen med badkar.

Utanför finns ett fantastiskt poolomrÄde med terrasser och grÀsmatta med solstolar. Det finns ocksÄ tvÄ utomhus terrasser pÄ framsidan och baksidan av huset med ett tÀckt omrÄde och grill idealisk för lÄnga luncher i solsken och lata middagar pÄ kvÀllen. Omfattande trÀdgÄrdar pÄ framsidan av bondgÄrden erbjuder ett bra utrymme för spel (badminton, boule) eller för att bara hitta en lat plats i skuggan för att slappna av.

I nÀrheten finns de vackra kommunerna Leoville (5 minuters bilresa), som har en bra liten boulangerie och utomhusrestaurang, Baignes (7-8 minuters bilresa), som erbjuder ytterligare tvÄ boulangerier, vinbar, restauranger, apotek, postkontor och en liten Intermarche. LÀngre bort ligger den vackra staden Jonzac (10 minuters bilresa) med sina fantastiska Chùteaux och ett stort utbud av restauranger, barer, veckopriser, vÀrmekÀllor och Les Antilles ett bra inomhuspoolskomplex.

Inom en kort bilresa frÄn bondgÄrden finns flera strand sjöar, bra för simning och sola och mÄnga med vattenaktiviteter och lekplatser för barn. De fantastiska AtlantkuststrÀnderna Royan och La Palmyre ligger inom 1 timmes 15 minuters bilresa.

Gorgeous house in the middle of French countryside

The house is just stunning, so well put together with everything and more you would need on holiday. We spent a week here with friends and 5 young children, house felt safe for them with stairgates and a pool fence. Lots of grass for them to run around on too. Owners are really helpful with local knowledge and we can’t wait to come back!

La Belle Vie at the Petit Sorin!

Spent a week (8 adults - 4 couples, 5 kids - aged 2-6) at the Petit Sorin in Mortiers. The house is beautiful, and very much adapted to several families together. Could not have asked for any better. The area is very much the French countryside, with small provincial markets being held in the surrounding villages. Quiet roads. Very 'French'. Thanks to the owners for making our stay a great one.

We hadden een fantastische vakantie (8 volwassenen en 7 kinderen). Emily en Andy zijn zeer vriendelijk, zeer discreet en zeer hulpvaardig. We voelden ons op ons gemak. Het huis, zwembad en tuin zijn een parel. Een aanrader voor wie met de hele familie volop wil genieten. Het terras, de zithoek...het plaatje klopt. Dank je wel, Emily en Andy!

TrÚs beau séjour à Mortiers ( 17)

Emily et Andy vous accueille simplement et vous mettent Ă  l'aise. Ils sont disponibles et prĂȘts Ă  vous rendre service. Le wk de notre location , il ne faisait pas trĂšs chaud, ils nous ont apportĂ©s du bois pour faire du feu dans le poĂȘle. La maison de caractĂšre est trĂšs belle, spacieuse, joliment dĂ©corĂ©e et pratique avec ses deux cuisines, et ses deux salons. Nous Ă©tions 14 personnes et chaque famille a apprĂ©ciĂ© la facilitĂ© d'organisation avec des chambres bien Ă©quipĂ©es, spacieuses, et disposant de salle de bains et de toilette privĂ©. Le jardin, la piscine avec la tonnelle et son barbecue autour de la piscine sont pratiques, trĂšs agrĂ©ables, trĂšs jolis, et trĂšs bien entretenus. Nous avons bien profitĂ© de tous ces espaces et de notre sĂ©jour dans cette jolie rĂ©gion. Une maison magnifique

Nous étions un groupe de 11 personnes, de 4 mois à 90 ans. Nous avons passé un trÚs agréable week-end dans celle belle demeure ancienne merveilleusement restaurée. C'était pourtant la canicule (+40) et à l'interieur nous étions bien au frais, grace à l'épaisseur des murs. Il y a de nombreuses salles de bains et WC, deux cuisines, dont une immense, un grand barbecue à gaz, deux terrasses, un parc, la piscine, c'est encore mieux que sur les photos. La propriétaire est discrÚte mais présente si besoin. Je recommande à 200%.

TrÚs agréable séjour dans un endroit trÚs calme.

Propriété trÚs agréable, aménagée avec beaucoup de gout. Les propriétaires habitent sur place (logement attenant à la ferme mais entrée indépendante) . Emily et Andy sont trÚs sympathiques et trÚs discrets mais toujours présents pour régler le moindre souci et pour veiller à l'entretien de la piscine. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme et la possibilité de randonner dans la campagne Charentaise (randos balisées obtenues au syndicat d'initiative de Jonzac).

Best holiday home on Vrbo so far

Our stay in this house near Mortiers was fantastic. We stayed here with six adults and six children, but we had some bedrooms and bathrooms to spare. The house was very clean, more than fully equiped, with a.o. a great pool, huge garden, two kitchens, bbq (gas). The owners, Andy and Emily, who live next door, are very kind and made us feel more than welcome. They made sure everything was to our satisfaction during our week there. We have had several holidays on vrbo listed houses, but this was by far the best. A place to come back to!

Superbe maison avec beaucoup d’espace. Nous sommes partis Ă  3 familles dont 5 enfants et 2 bĂ©bĂ©s et la maison Ă©tait tout Ă  fait adaptĂ©e, avec 2 cuisines et de nombreuses salles de bain. Fabulous and friendly

We had a wonderful stay. There were 17 of us aged between 1 and 72 and the property worked perfectly for us. Emily and Andy were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. What a fabulous property Le Petit Sorin is! Emily and Andy have created the perfect holiday house. It is beautifully appointed with everything you could need or want including pool, swings for the children and a large field with football goals. We rented the property as a family, a party of 18 aged between 6 months to 75. Nothing was too much trouble, Emily and Andy recommended activities in the local area and even arranged a chef for us so we could celebrate my sister’s 40th birthday during our stay. We would definitely stay again!

Séjour d'une semaine durant le mois de juillet 2019 dans cette merveille propriété qu'est 'Le Petit Sorin'. Nous étions 4 familles avec plusieurs enfants et l'endroit était magique pour tout le monde. TrÚs bon accueil et suivi par les proprios (Emily & Andy). Carnet avec toutes les adresses utiles (boulangerie, boucherie, marchés, excursions...) mis à disposition sur place. Merci à eux pour nous avoir permis de passer une excellente semaine de vacances. Luxury Accommodation. Highly Recommended

Just back from the most incredible week at Le Petit Sorin in Mortiers France with the wonderful hosts Emily and Andy. I couldn't have been happier or more impressed with this beautiful home and the hospitality and genuine 'here to help' attitude of Emily and Andy. From first communication to waving good bye at the end of the week nothing was too much trouble. Pre-visit I was in touch with Emily with questions about what to do in the area, she came back promptly with ideas, distances, costs and links on how to contact and book. this included towns to visit, places to eat, local businesses such as a fabulous yoga and spa retreat just 10 mins away. A congac vineyard, just 10 mins away where we had a private tour and tasting, Contact details for us us to book local restaurants in near by Jonzac and Leoville and even a contact to book a hot air balloon for our special occasion. They gave us directions to a local supermarket where we were able to get everything we needed for our evenings in on the terrace by the pool and directions to a cafe for morning coffee opposite a quaint little Boulangerie for wonderful french bread, delicious pastries and the most marvelous fresh macaroons. Just heavenly.. The details of the Gite shown on the site are accurate and it is as lovely as it looks, I would definitely class this home as Luxury Accommodation and the attention to detail and the simple little touches are just lovely. All of the bedrooms were beautifully decorated, most with en-suite bathrooms. 2 large and fully equipped kitchens made self catering a breeze. We almost forgot Emily and Andy were there as they were so discreet and gave us privacy at all times, It was great to know they were just next door if we needed anything, keeping themselves to them selves and always with a friendly smile. Cleanliness 5*'s, Style 5*s,comfort 5*s, friendliness 5*s, location 5*s, Surrounding area 5*s having to leave at the end of the week... absolute pants! Thank you Emily and Andy we all had an amazing time and will see you again at Le Petit Sorin.

Vraiment trĂšs bien pour un week-end entre copains

Nous sommes partis entre copains (11 adultes) et nous sommes trĂšs satisfaits des prestations proposĂ©es par le logement. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine mĂȘme si elle n'Ă©tait pas chauffĂ©e (eau entre 22° et 25°). Il y avait un filet de badminton ou volley, des raquettes de badminton, des ballons, des boules de pĂ©tanque et un jeu de criquet. Les chambres sont spacieuses et nous avons eu besoin de 6 chambres et il y avait une seule des 6 chambres sans salle de bain intĂ©grĂ©e (il y en avait 2 juste sous la chambre au rez-de-chaussĂ©e). Petit point nĂ©gatif sur les chambres : pas de volets ni de rideaux occultant donc la lumiĂšre du jour est prĂ©sente trĂšs tĂŽt. Le domaine est magnifique et trĂšs grand avec beaucoup de place pour s'amuser en extĂ©rieur L'intĂ©rieur est Ă©galement trĂšs spacieux mais pour nous les salons mĂ©riteraient d'avoir une table basse. Petits bĂ©mols, il faut prendre la voiture pour aller chercher le pain le matin et l'isolation phonique n'est pas trĂšs bon entre certaines piĂšces mais rien d'insupportable. Les nombreuses salles de bains sont trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©es et nous n'avons jamais Ă©tĂ© Ă  court d'eau chaude mĂȘme en prenant 11 douches par jour et en faisant la vaisselle ! En bref, super sĂ©jour ! Les propriĂ©taires sont trĂšs avenant et discrets alors qu'ils se trouvent collĂ©s Ă  la location. Merci
