A comfortable and attractive apartment in a peaceful, central and popular part of town. Located on the 3th floor (modern elevator) with an inner courtyard balcony facing south, three bedrooms, one bathroom and a nice kitchen. Just a couple of minutes from Stockholm Södra Train station with direct connection to and fro Arlanda Airport and other intercity communications, busses, trains and metro. Walking distance to central Södermalm areas as Mariatorget, Medborgarplatsen, Slussen, Nytorget and a great number of a variety of restaurants, cafés, bars and shopping as well as attractive parks, playgrounds and walking lanes along the waterside. More about the apartment: Bedroom 1 has a double bed (180x200)and access to wardrobe. Bedroom 2 has a double bed (160x200) cloth-rack and a child sofa bed to be made up by request. Bedroom 3 has a single bed (120x200) cloth-rack and drawers. There is one bathroom with a toilette and a bath tub/shower as well as a laundry detergent, clothes-line and a washtub, also suitable as a baby bath. Kitchen with essential utensils, dishwasher and a table/seats 4 people. Livingroom with dining room table for 6-10 people, TV, Google Chrome, DVD player and stereo.

This was a wonderful stay for our family of 5. Know that this is the host’s residence—it is not exclusively a rental property. But it was a great location, we were able to stop at the market easily, get to transit, visit walkable restaurants.

Our host had a friend greet us at the apartment and show us everything we needed to know in the apartment and places to shop for groceries nearby. The apartment is the host’s home. It was very comfortable, had everything we needed and I think it could not have been better for 4 of us. We were able to use any of the ingredients in the kitchen so we were able to cook a couple of meals. It’s great to eat out but it’s nice to eat in as well. The location was awesome. A few minutes walk from bus or metro. It was easy to walk to all the tourist areas as well if you like a leisurely stroll and see all the shops, restaurants and bakeries.

Anna and Anders apartment was the perfect place for my wife and I to stay with our adult children while in Stockholm. The location was quiet yet close to stores, restaurants and parks. Getting to all the other wonderful sights and activities was easy.

Our family loved our stay! It was easy to get everywhere we needed with close options for public transit. Local restaurants and stores were also great.

Great stay!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The apartment is great for four and can work for five but you'll have to share a pretty small bed which did work for us. The kitchen is the best equipped we've seen in all our travels. The location is great. You stay in a very local part of Sodermalm so I would be surprised if you see many tourists around the neighborhood. The grocery stores are less than 5 minutes away and have any and everything you want. The commuter train station is a 5 minute walk, the t-bana stop is about 8 and the bus stop is almost outside the door. There are plenty of restaurants within 20 minutes walk with a really good sushi place on the corner outside the apartment.Anna and her husband greeted us when we arrived and made our arrival simple. I highly recommend staying here!

Stockholm mini break

Our stay in Stockholm was truly wonderful, we love the city as first time visitors and staying at Anna's and Anders' apartment just made our stay even better. Our host waited for us to check in, was very communicative and all the information to help with our stay was easily available. The apartment itself is spacious and clean, beds are very comfortable, just evrything about the place had a really good vibe, the location is so handy in Södermalm, next to all types of public transport, supermarkets and restaurants, there was just nothing to fault at all, many thanks for a fabulous stay.

Beautiful apartment with gracious host, who was always amiable for questions and responded quickly. Kitchen and bathroom were excellently supplied. Rooms were comfortable and exactly as listed. Living room and dinning room area were large. Comfortably fit five adults across the three beds.

Lovely apartment in Sodermalm, Stockholm

The apartment in Sodermalm was perfect for our family trip. Conveniently located near train and metro stations so it was easy to visit anywhere in the Stockholm area and easy to get from the airport. Anna was helpful with check-in and directions. Highly recommend.

In diesem Appartement können sich alle GĂ€ste wohlfĂŒhlen. Wir waren zu fĂŒnft dort, hatten ausreichend Platz, eine tolle KĂŒche zum Kochen und einen großen Esstisch fĂŒr gemeinsames Essen. Spielen, lesen oder Fußball (EM) schauen war gut möglich. In der gesamten Wohnung gibt es etwas zu entdecken, denn unsere Gastgeberin scheint das Reisen zu lieben. Die Wohnung liegt optimal. Metro, Bus, BĂ€cker, Discounter oder andere EinkaufslĂ€den sind in unmittelbarer NĂ€he. In kĂŒrzester Zeit sind wir zum Wasser gelaufen, konnten baden oder einfach den Menschen zuschauen. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen. Die Gastgeberin ist freundlich, zugewandt und hat uns herzlich willkommen.

We are a couple and have lived in Stockholm for years. The children are all grown up and living on their own which has freed both time for travel and space to share on our part. We love to travel ourselves, and are often away, both for business and pleasure and really like the idea that our apartment can be of use for others of the same mind. We love the apartment and have a good life here, which we think our guests will feel as a "good spirit" in the apartment.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

It's a nicely sized and comfortable apartment in the heart of Södermalm, built in the eighties with families, children and pedestrians in mind, excluding car traffic and focusing on parks, playgrounds, green areas and bicycle lanes. We love walking and have a variety of areas to choose from, nature, park and city depending on the mood of the day. We are close to all the main intercity communications making it easy to travel to all the main sights in and around the beautiful city of Stockholm.

Placed in the heart of the city the apartment is perfectly placed for the holiday of your dreams in Stockholm. Walking distance to many of the best sights, great parks, beautiful walking lanes, busy shopping areas, a great variation of bars and restaurants. Whether you are looking for a quiet family holiday, sport activities, cultural experiences, or a business trip, it's a great spot to be in.
