The Secret Spot har modern hyttstyling med betonggolv (strålningsvärme) och massor av naturligt trä och roligt / socialt bostadsområde. Beläget strax väster om det centrala affärsdistriktet Hood River, finns det fri utsikt över Mt. Adams och Columbia River.

Ligger i ett lugnt område och avskilt från buller, trafik och överbelastning i centrum, är vi en kort, säker promenad till två av de bästa bryggerierna i nordväst, om inte världen! Livsmedelsaffären, spritbutiken och apoteket ligger ¼ mil väster om.

Detta är en 1: a våningen (dagsljuskällaren), lägenhet i full storlek, med egen ingång som är bottenvåningen. Lägenheten har ett kök i full storlek med en ätbar som är öppen för mat- och sittgruppen. Det finns också en mysig uteplats / däck som är skyddad av en stor ek som ger fin skugga på sommaren.

The Secret Spot vetter norrut mot utsikten över Columbia River och Mount Adams. Det är välisolerat och kan göras för att hålla sig svalt och bekvämt under de hetaste dagarna.

Good River Apartment

Brian was so helpful and accommodating. Lovely to have the outdoor patio and grill. We BBQ’ed every night. Well equipped kitchen. Can walk to town and waterfront park.

Our stay was a perfect get away, we also brought our Corgi and each of us found the Vbro relaxing with a nonstop view of Mt. Adams to enhance the experience. The owners thought of every amenity and we will be back for sure! On our last day we took the short drive to Lost Lake- beautiful spot for non motorized water activity

Great location for a short vacation

This was far enough away from the main hub to feel calm and peaceful, but close enough to walk to (or stumble, if you've had a bit too much fun at the breweries and wineries) with ease! The owner was friendly and accommodating. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Great property with comfy beds and lovely view from deck

My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property very much. Pictures and location were accurate; it was comfortably furnished with all supplies to cook a nice dinner. We were welcomed by a bottle of wine and the property manager was easy to work with and very accommodating. A few quirks were the kitchen counter was not very clean when we arrived and the bathroom shower water nozzle is backwards (hot is cold and cold is hot). Overall - great stay in HR! Thank you.

The unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay for a weekend in Hood River, plus a deck and a view of the Columbia River. It’s within walking distance of downtown and a short walk to Safeway on a quiet street. Great place, great location!

Nice Spot in Hood River

Nice property in a quiet neighborhood. Clean and spacious units with a nice outdoor seating area looking out over the river.. There are plenty of local services (food, liquor, etc.) although you should be aware that the HR waterfront area is about 1.5 miles away. There is no Uber or Lyft yet in HR, PediCab is a nice option, Matt is super friendly and accommodating and has an electric vehicle available at night. The HR taxi service is unreliable and not thought of highly by the locals. Would definitely stay at this location again.

Gorge Windsurfing Trip 2019

The property is clean and well maintained; it is also in an excellent location--not too far from central Hood River but also quiet. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms are comfortable, and the outdoor deck/patio offers a nice view of the river. We would go back in a second.

Perfect Location and Meets all your needs!

Great place to stay to visit Hood River and Mt Hood National Forest. Beautiful view of Mt. Adams. 2 separate bedrooms w kitchen that has everything you need. Nice deck area too. Grocery is very close by.

Great location and property at a decent price!

We were very happy with our stay at the Secret Spot. It is a minimalist apartment space, yet very comfortable. It is in the basement area of the property with an entrance around the side of the house and has a large back patio with a grill and great Mountain/River Views. We have two small children, and the set up and fenced in back area worked out very well to contain them. It is about a 10 minute walk to downtown, so nice not having to drive always. I recommend this property and would stay here again.

Good house, great town. Highly recommended.

Hood River is great! Try the “Fruit Loop” if you have time. The house was great. Simple and not much too it, but had everything we needed. There is another rental upstairs, so you can hear them walking and such - but it didn’t bother us or create an issues. Owner is very nice and available to help with anything.

Great apartment in Hood River, Oregon

This property is much better than a hotel room, especially for families or groups of more than two people. There are two bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. A BBQ is outside the living room on a patio. Despite being there in the middle of summer, the property never got super hot, as it is the lower of the residences. There are also fans in every room.

Nice spot, no A/C

Owners were great and the spot was a great landing spot. My knock would be that if you go during the summer, there is no A/C and we were there when the high's were in the 90's and it was very difficult to sleep at night.

Quiet and close to town.

We enjoyed our stay in Hood River at the secret spot. It had everything we needed . We were there during the Eagle creek fire so there were times when Mt.Adams wasn't visible from the patio but on the clear days it was a beautiful view. We took advantage one evening of the gas grill right outside back door on the patio. The walk to Double Mountain brewery for there heirloom tomato pizza was only 10 minutes down the street. We will definitely stay again.
