Historia-älskare kan njuta av härlig charm i det här huset, beläget i hjärtat av Missouri bara 3 miles norr om större I-70. Protokoll från historiska Arrow Rock. Promenera i centrala Blackwater, en gammal järnvägsstad, för antikviteter, restauranger.

Detta hem är ett kärleksarbete. Detta har varit ett familjebostad i 90 år. Detta nyrenoverade hem är menat som ett lugnt tillflyktsort för icke-rökare. Alla bekvämligheter ingår. Var vänlig respektera detta historiska hem. Endast två 3-tums steg öppnas för ett lättillgängligt hus, allt på en våning. Ny diskmaskin tillgänglig. Jag ska ge kaffe. All annan mat måste tillhandahållas av gästerna, så kanske du vill stanna längs interstate på väg. Ett tredje sovrummet har enkelsängar. Njut av området! Du kommer älska det.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was welcoming and in order. We would stay again in a heartbeat if in the area. The house was very neat being from the 1800's. Thank you for a great experience.

Anniversary Trip

Short stay, clean accommodation, central to the area we were planning on seeing. Quiet neighborhood except for train traffic. Enjoyed our stay.

So relaxing

The bridesmaids house … great place to get ready for the wedding. Wonderful front porch, back deck, and sun room gave us plenty of areas to sit and talk. It also was perfect for taking pictures. There was not a bad backdrop. It felt like home.

Wonderful!

Such a cute little town with the friendliest of people. Property was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Property was described accurately and home was very nice! Great communication and highly recommend! Most definitely would stay here again!

Wedding Weekend

I rented this house for my father, his aide, and my mother-in-law the weekend of my daughter’s wedding. The location was amazing because we had the wedding at Wildcliff and the reception at The Hollow. Such an adorable house!!

Great, Great Place!

It was an honor to stay in this great house in Blackwater. The town is quaint, quiet and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay....particularly the front porch! Perfect place for our family

Our son was married at Wildcliff, which is about 8 minutes from the house. It was a perfect place to stay to relax, get ready and enjoy time with our family over the weekend. Very clean and has all the amenities you could want, especially being out in the county. The host is very responsive and helpful.

Quiet and quaint setting

This charming little home was perfect for us as we were just wanting a quiet and peaceful place to stay for a few days. We loved walking into the downtown area, which is an easy walk from the home, and visiting some of the local shops. Loved visiting the antique store nearby where we found a few small treasures worth buying. We particularly loved the porch swing and spent some time enjoying the front porch. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The haunted house 😂🤣😂

A wonderful, historic home. We call it the haunted house because the 14 yr old isn’t a fan of anything not shiny or new. The location is great. Some of the furniture is very old. Had a great time.

Perfect country cottage

My daughter and I stayed here while she was performing at The Lyceum in Arrow Rock (10 min drive). The house was adorable and the owner was wonderful and quick to communicate. This would be a perfect place for a couples getaway... close to Arrow Rock to catch incredible live theatre, and Rocheport with a lovely winery and downtown area (and Katy trail access). 5⭐️

Beautiful old home takes you back in time.

The house was very pretty. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We knew it only has one bathroom, but that was still a little challenging. When making our reservation we decided to only stay one night since the bathroom was a bit of an inconvenience. The house was pretty large and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch. The beds were not very comfortable. It worked well, though, for our short family trip to Warm Springs Ranch.

Girls’ Getaway

Lovely house on a quiet street. Unfortunately it was too hot to enjoy either the front porch or the back deck. The glass enclosed utility room/sunroom was where we sat with our coffee in the morning. It was an easy walk to Main Street for breakfast, lunch or browsing. For anyone going to the Lyceum Theatre in Arrow Rock, this home in Blackwater is ideal for an overnight stay before or after the theatre. We were quite pleased with the house and would definitely recommend it. Suggestions for the owner: A rubber mat or grab bar in the bathtub, bedside lamps in the bedrooms for nighttime reading, and tack strips on the rug by the front door.

Wedding Fun!

My husband and I and 2 other couples stayed here for the wedding of a dear friends son at Wildcliff which was just a mile and a half down the road. The reception was held at The Hallow just one block away. We could walk to and from which was awesome! We were the only ones who didn’t have to drive after a night of celebrating! The house was just perfect for us. Old and antiquish so it creaked at night when you walked across the hardwood floors but we loved it. It was so cute and welcoming! We loved sitting on the deck and the closed in back porch visiting. It definitely could use another bathroom since it is a 3 bedroom. Getting 6 adults ready for the wedding went fine but we had to start early to stagger getting us all in. The town doesn’t offer a lot but that was ok for us. There was a diner that some other friends had lunch at that said was good. There’s a coffee shop but we didn’t use it. The general store was closed so no where to even get ice or a toothbrush (that we forgot) but again we made due. We’ve already decided a return girls trip is the making to attend a play in Arrow Rock and a stay in this quaint little house will be a must!

Three grade school friends connecting after 50+ years

It was perfect for our needs. We cooked, talked, played cards, talked, made crafts together, talked, and went to the local craft fair where many of the stores in Blackhorse and other nearby towns participated. Just perfect. We would love to stay there again when the weather is warmer - it snowed 3-4 inches while we there. But it was beautiful.

This is a spacious, newly remodeled house. New deck, sunporch, garage and lovely porch swing. Sparkling clean! Convenient to Clydesdale Horse Ranch, Arrow Rock historic sites, Katy Bike trail. There is plenty of room at this property for your enjoyment. You could even play a baseball game out front while the folks watch in the swing on the front porch!
