Beary wonderful getaway

For the last weekend I’m September, we had a great stay at Dreamers Inn with a quaint, relaxing time on the dock and multiple decks. Beautiful views and roomy house. Hot tub was amazing. Path to the dock was a little steep but we made do. Overall, beautiful house and would come back.

The stay was fine. Couple issues basement bathroom has mold, grill not cleaned, hot tub lock issues as well head rest falling apart. No stairs or hand rails down the very steep hill to the docks View was nice as well as private dock.

Home fit our needs and had everything we needed, not as clean as I would have liked. The floors needed swept and we had to wash a bunch of dishes before we could use them.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

It's a wonderful property. Very well stocked kitchen. Comfy beds and very clean. There were a few quirks but no deal breakers (the Wifi is pretty much non existent). Also it seems like the neighbors are not too happy they live next to a rental with a hot tub. The hot tub itself is loud when you have the jets on. Talking over those jets carries. So be careful to not be in the hot tub after 10pm or the neighbors will call to complain about the noise... especially if you have young kids that are naturally loud. Would recommend.

Only thing I would of liked is if we would of knew how steep walk was to lake. It was kind of dangerous because was little to no lights to walk up at dark. Other than that it was a great stay. Thank you

The house itself was clean and tidy but could use some updates in the bathrooms. The front door key entry is a little tricky. We had a hard time opening the door. The screened in porch was very dirty which did not make for the best first impression .The basement level is very cold and the fireplace in the living room in the basement did not work properly so we had to unplug it for safety reasons. During our stay one of the smoke detectors battery went dead and we had to call maintenance. The maintenance man was very friendly and prompt especially on a Saturday night.The only big complaint that we had was access to the lake. Nowhere in the description of the listing does it mention how steep the path is down to the lake and dock. And there are no handrails to hold onto. It was very difficult for some people in our group to navigate. It would be very helpful to include that information in the listing.Despite some of these inconveniences, we still had a very nice weekend.

Fall trip!

This house in Deep Creek is great for a group! With bedrooms on all three floors there is room to spread out and relax. The house is sturdy and not noisy between the floors. It is stated in the info but It is one of the more sterile places I've rented. There are no toiletries, salt, pepper, basics, etc. Everything is beautiful and functional but be ready for the steep walk to and from the dock. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay but did not receive any response about a late check out so even though it was not summer hours we hurried to check out on time.

Nice place for a lake get-away

Beautiful setting and awesome layout. The front porch was filthy, though, and the hot tub water was not clean. The 5 teenage boys didn't seem to mind, but that would have improved the experience! Bring everything though...they don't even offer a small bar of soap or hair dryer. The skylight windows were dirty and the decor is very tired and dated. But the couches seem new and SO comfy and the beds are great. Inside was clean. Great for a group with kids who can crash in the basement.

Another successful stay at DCL

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a first time stay at Dreamers Inn. The cottage is well stocked. The deck is perfect, as was the dock. All those items are why you go to DCL. It is all about being outside, and on the water. Our grandchildren were in the water for hours. The dock was perfect for jumping off the dock, and swimming. The screams, and laughter from our grandchildren was perfect. Dreamers Inn is a nice rental property. But, be aware that the walk to and from the lake is not for the faint of heart. It is on a steep incline that only partially has steps for the steepest part of the walk. However, there remains some steep parts that is paved with rocks. While this is safer than gravel, or grass, it was challenging for the very young, and those of us over 60. We did make a call to the rental agency to address issues with a bee’s nest, and broken chairs down by the dock. The rental company did not address these concerns during our stay. We did address again on a card when we left the property. Thus, the reason for the 3 stars. We were there to enjoy the lake and time with our children and grandchildren. We did!

On small concern was the musty smell, but we had candles & lack of cleanliness in the corners of the s master suite bathroom. Rest of house was well taken care of equipped with EVERYTHING You need.

The hot tub was great when it was cold and snowy outside, and the fireplaces kept us warm inside. There was plenty of room for everyone and we even were able to cook a big dinner in the kitchen. The management company was also wonderful! Any question we had, they were happy to answer and help us with. Overall, it was a great stay!

Great City Escape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great retreat, right on the water and relatively close to Wisp resort. Couldn't ski as much as we would have preferred due to unseasonably warm weather, but luckily the house was so comfortable with the hot tub, pool table, and fire place that we didn't mind being...the opposite of snow-bunnies? ;) There were also great recommendations of other things to do, like mini-golf and bowling. Would definitely consider renting this property again, summer or winter.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hot Tub was broken. A bag of open trash was scattered over the driveway when we arrived. The outside smelled like sewer. The dock was covered in goose excrement. The firewood was not split. The hot water tank could not fill up the jet tub. We upgraded 400 dollars to have a hot tub for our children, but we were only credited 100 dollars. (Still waiting for that cash/credit) My wife twisted her ankle on the loose gravel path to the lake. My late mom owned lakefront property at deep creek for 9 years, I love it there, my wife feels otherwise. I spent $1000 dollars for two days . . . . I am not happy.
