Denna charmiga, fristående ladugårdsomvandling ligger på Snowdonia nationalpark och Lleynhalvön och ligger på ägarnas småbruk, omgiven av betande får och ägarnas två mycket vänliga åsnor. Tillgängligt med en grov bana och ligger mitt i jordbruksmark och njuter av härliga bergspanorama och utsikt över öppna fält till Cardigan Bay, har det fönster från golv till tak för att få ut det mesta av den vackra utsikten. Tyddyn Iolyn är bekvämt beläget halvvägs mellan de två mycket populära kustbyarna Criccieth och Porthmadog. Det är en utmärkt bas för att utforska detta underbara område, med en mängd fantastiska promenader, fantastiska cykelmöjligheter och ett bra urval av sevärdheter i närheten.
Porthmadog är utgångspunkten för underbara ångtågresor på den världsberömda Ffestiniog Railway när den slingrar sig på sitt spektakulära sätt genom fantastiskt landskap upp i Snowdoniabergen. Den vackra italienska byn Portmeirion, platsen för kult-TV-serien "The Prisoner", ligger också i närheten. Criccieth är en vacker by som bevakas av ett medeltida slott, och har en härlig strand och ett bra urval av restauranger och butiker. My wife and I had a great holiday doing all sorts of things from this central point. We received a warm welcome on arrival with goodies in the kitchen area. Seating was comfortable, fell asleep a few times watching a decent TV. Bed was comfortable, no waking up with an aching back. Bathroom was clean throughout. My one and only gripe, hence the nines, the WiFi wasn't of the best quality.

This was a lovely cottage and the facilities were great.

This was a lovely cottage and the facilities were great. The place was spotlessly clean and tidy and a credit to the owners. The location was ideal and the views out of the big picture window were lovely. The cottage was dog friendly and ideal for a family with a baby. I would recommend this to anyone and really look forward to our next visit.

We had such a wonderful stay here with our two small children.

We had such a wonderful stay here with our two small children. They loved seeing the animals from the beautiful large window. Cottage is comfy and well equipped. Lovely touches like a welcome basket of fruit and treats. Owners friendly and happy for us to explore around the gardens. Lots to do in local area - some information in visitor information for things to do with kids would be great. Thanks we hope to stay again sometime.

Lovely cottage with some spectacular views with the added bonus that wildlife wanders past the window at various times of day. We saw Hares, Rabbits, Foxes and an Owl at dusk one night along with the usual farm animals. The WIFI is a bit hit and miss, could do with a chopping board and there are some steep steps down into the bathroom. Also it felt quite damp in the double bedroom compared to the rest of the cottage but none of that would put me off stopping here again.

Lovely quiet location.

Lovely quiet location. Beautifully renovated stable, with everything you need in order to relax. Absolutely loved the large window which provided a great view of the sea and surrounding countryside. Would definitely book again.

We enjoyed our stay here, the cottage had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay here, the cottage had everything we needed. The best thing for us was that it is dog friendly, they loved looking out of the large windows. It was nicely decorated, very clean and tidy and the welcome basket of fruit, welsh cakes and milk was a nice touch. The views were great, even in dull weather. The only negative for us was that even though the large windows were great for the views it was quite cold in the living space as there were no curtains to keep the heat in. In warmer months this wouldn’t be a problem. It was chilly downstairs but if you kept the door shut in the bedroom it was really toasty. There were hot water bottles and extra blankets though which we made use of. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.
