Quiet and luxurious Villa: Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria

Great place and wonderful owner. Very close to shopping, bars areas and super markets. Slightly off the beaten track and on a hill but a small price to pay for the piece and quiet. I will be staying again Darren

Fabulous Stay

Lovely property, the pool is bigger than the photos make it look. Very clean inside with lots of outdoor areas with seating. Communication with Pilar was excellent, always replied to texts or phone calls…very enjoyable holiday 5stars!

Xmas and New Year Holiday

The Villa was in a lovely quiet area both inside and outside was perfect for our needs. The outside terrace was very private and well equipped. The pool is lovely too. We enjoyed it so much we have already booked again. Pilar and her Mum couldn’t have been more helpful.

Lovely Apartment

This is a lovely spacious apartment. Very clean, well equipped and well presented with a large outdoor patio. The underground garaging facility was useful and the view over the valley was spectacular. Pilar and her mother were very welcoming and helpful.

Dishwasher-case

The place was good, although the info dais there would be a dishwasher and there was not. We promised to have a grill outside, nope. We bought some mugs, knives, a frying pan and glasses - the host did not want to pay them so we just left these there.

Nice property good location

Comfortable, well equipped apartment. Nice private pool. Parking garage is very helpful. Pilar friendly and helpful. As long as you don't mind the 200 steps, you can walk from outside/opposite the apartment down to the Mall/shopping centre and further to the beach. Loads of shops and restaurants just 20min walk. Beach about 35min.

Lovely place

It was a perfect apartment for us, pool was big enough for us kids were aged between 4 and 7. The communal pool was not accessible unfortunately and no instructions left on how we can get access to it. The bed was uncomfortable and the air con was not cold enough so we hardly slept all holiday but apart from that location was perfect and apartment was as pictured.

Lovely stay in November 2023

We stayed 4 weeks in this lovely house. The house was very clean and had all we needed as well as a large terrace with pool and sunbeds, and we had all our meals outside. In November there is sun on the terrace from 10:30 to 17:30. It is only a 15 min. walk to the nearest supermarket and half an our to the beach. On the way to the beach you pass two shopping centers, another big supermarket as well as lot of restaurants. We will be back soon and can indeed recommend this lovely place. Further the hoast is nice and very helpful. Keld and Marianne

Pillar was very welcoming. She communicated effectively with us before and during the holiday. The house is as described and the pool is amazing - we never considered using the communal pool as loved our private one so much. There is a slight incline to get from the end of the road (where the supermarket is) to the house, however, we did not find this to be a problem and carried our shopping home. However the supermarket does home delivery for £6:50. The house was conveniently located, out of the hustle but only a short walk to the shops, many bars and restaurants. I would definitely return again if I was visiting the area again.

Family friendly

Spacious comfortable apartment in a quiet position, but close to amenities. We were disappointed with the condition of some of the crockery which were cracked and chipped. It would have been useful to have towels that were specifically for use at the pool and beach. Having a garage to park our car was extremely useful particularly as the week we were there the temperature were in the 30's every day and sometimes there were no parking spaces on the road outside the apartment. We found it difficult to contact Pilar when we had no electricity, it was 48hrs before we had a response, by which time we had isolated the problem and apart from a few lights the power was on again. This gave us internet and Whatsap to make contact.

Ein sehr schönes Haus - empfehlenswert

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt - tolle Lage - absolute Ruhe und eine sehr gepflegte Anlage. Ich gebe meinen Vorbewerter Recht, dass das Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist und würde es nicht unbedingt als luxeriöse Villa einordnen. Es stimmt nicht, dass ein Geschirrspüler und ein Trockner vorhanden ist (auch kein Weinkeller). Als ich den Vermieter per Whatsapp damit konfrontierte, dass der Geschirrspüler aber fehle, meinte er, dass dieser vor einiger Zeit kaputt gegangen sei und er es vergessen habe rauszunehmen. Er werde dies aber jetzt direkt machen. Dies hat er aber bis heute nicht. Ansonsten ausschließlich Kommunikation per Whatsapp (Vermieter ist nicht vor Ort). Zur Abreise haben wir keinerlei Infos erhalten und es so gemacht, wie wir es uns gedacht haben. Es gibt im Haus keinerlei Infos (z.B. Passwort WLAN; wo kommt der Müll hin; wie kann ich den großen Pool benutzen etc.). Man muss alles erfragen - allerdings antwortet er sehr schnell und kümmert sich dann.

Puerto Rico

Aufgrund von Krankheit des Vermieters, war die Übergabe leider nur per Email / Whatsapp durchgeführt worden. Telefonisch war keine Kontaktaufnahme möglich. Zu unserer Überraschung haben wir zwei Kameras in der Unterkunft vorgefunden. Ist wohl ein Bestandteil einer Alarm- / Überwachungsanlage. War aber trotzdem sehr verstörend, ein Hinweis oder eine Erklärung wäre angebracht gewesen! Auch bei der Abreise war eine persönliche Kontaktaufnahme nicht möglich, es wurde lediglich per Whatsapp darum gebeten, den Schlüssel am gleichen Ort, wie bei Anreise zu deponieren. Lage ist gut und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls gut vorhanden. Unterkunft ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, ansonsten ok.

Schönes Haus mit Blick über Puerto Rico

Ruhig gelegenes Haus in einer Anlage an der oberen südlichen Hanglage der Barranco de Puerto Rico. Das Haus hat eine sehr große Terrasse mit Pool und ist mit allem Nötigen für einen Urlaubsaufenthalt für vier Erwachsene ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert, auch Checkin/out waren problemlos. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Recomendable al 100°/•. Urbanización tranquila, pero cerca de todo. La casa está estupenda, Pilar un encanto ayudándonos en todo momento ya que nuestra llegada era por la noche y estuvo pendiente en todo momento. Sin duda repetiremos.

Schöne Wohnung über 2 Etagen mit eigenem Pool

Schöne Wohnung über 2 Etagen mit schicker Terrasse, eigenem Pool und Garagenplatz. Zu unserem Zeitpunkt war es in der Anlage angenehm ruhig, was wir sehr genossen haben. Eine Einkaufsmallmit vielen Geschäften und Restaurants ist über einen Treppenabgang erreichbar.
