The host was very reaponsive during the booking process. My group and I appreciated the house manual and everything was easy to find in the kitchen as the cabinates and drawers were labeled. Canoe and pedal boat were fun activities provided by the host. The only thing I would suggest is clearing the cobwebs near the entrances as there were a lot of spiders everywhere. Overall, this was a great place to have a fun time and relax.

Our 3 generation family 5 night stay was nothing but perfect!! We have stayed in rentals around the world & this cottage is at the top of our list!! It is exceptionally well equipped with everything from kitchen, bed&bath, & entertainment needs! As each member of our family entered the cottage, they all said “Oh wow!”

The cottage is very big and spacious and the access to the lake is awesome! The lake is very shallow - water is not bad overall, some parts are a bit murky. Lots of crab legs on the dock from the seagulls eating them there. The beds are comfy and the cottage is equipped with what you need. Enjoyed our stay with family! :)

Lovely property, enjoyed our stay

The house is very nice, well equipped, clean and in a great location. The waterfront is great for kids as it’s very shallow, but I would note that the bottom is mucky so water shoes are helpful. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Host communication could be a bit better, but it didn’t negatively impact our stay.

Great place for a getaway!

Lovely house with great amenities right on the lake but also close to downtown Orillia, parks, and trails. Perfect for our girls reunion!

The property was beautiful...right on the lake...great room and kitchen nicely renovated....needs a good cleaning....communication with the host was very poor....i text him 3 different times about issues....the entry code and wifi not working with no response...these were minor issues and we still enjoyed the property and views

Wonderful!!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful three night stay at Hostaville. The view is great, the cottage itself is very comfortable for family members to be together, and the kitchen is very well stocked if you plan to cook. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. Looking forward to booking Hostaville again.

Great Fall Getaway

Two couples spent 3 days at this lovely home. Great location, cleanliness, and layout. Loved watching the sunrise from the living room. Casino Rama easy to get to. Weather was nice great and had a nice camp fire for the end of Oct! Property manager was great and easy to get a hold of. She Would stay again. Thank you DJ

5 ladies celebrating the 65th birthday of one. The weather was rainy but not terribly cold. The house was wonderful ... great floor plan. Clean and well equipped. Excellent property for all seasons!

The Perfect Getaway

We just returned from a lovely week! A beautiful property, right on the water. The house was clean, in a quiet area, and had everything we needed! Lots of space for a big family, two living areas with big screen TVs, and a fantastic deck overlooking the lake, which is where we spent most of our time. The kids loved the foosball table! 5/5, would definitely recommend!

Cottage Get Away

Perfect place for a 3 days cottage getaway with family. It’s peaceful, serene and healing. The lake view is spectacular throughout the day. The water is very inviting for canoeing and other water activities. Wish we could have done fishing. The cottage is well furnished, spacious and has all the amenities we needed just like we were at the comfort of our home. Could have enjoyed the outdoor dining but the accumulation of pollen, dust, insects debris on surfaces was quite distracting. With bug spray armor, bon fire at night and watching full moon over the lake was peaceful and enjoyable. Overall, our family had an excellent experience staying at the cottage.

After spending every summer in the area since 1988, I finally decided to buy my own house on the villages biggest lot in 2015. When I am not enjoying the property myself my parents and family are big helpers in offering the property for other potential guests that want to a perfect weekend getaway!

A home in the country! This is not cottage! This is a 4 bedroom bungalow with every modern amenity imagineable! This includes 2 big screen TV's, lots of sitting space, A/C and $30,000 in new furniture!
