Hi We moved to France in 2006 from Chester as a family of 4 or 5 if you include the dog. Roger had a successful tree surgery business with a passion for the mountains, climbing and skiing and I had been in sales and very keen to look for pastures new - the arrival of our first son Max was the first boost to help us make the decision to pack up and go - by the time Ross arrived the decision was final and action plan France commenced.
After much searching we found our beautiful farm house in Vacheresse, it was in need of some TLC and we even lived in a tent in the garden for a few months during the first summer whilst we started the renovation to create our family home.
Our dream was also to convert the barn space so we could share our fantastic location with those of you who wish to holiday in the Alpes. After a great deal of hard work we are delighted to start sharing it.
The boys are a lot bigger now and very accomplished skiers and the dog may have changed - we may be a little older but certainly a lot wiser and definitely for the better - we have a wealth of knowledge of the area and are excited to pass this information on to help you make the most of your stay - spring, summer, autumn or winter.

We have put a great deal of time and energy in converting the barn so we can provide a luxurious and spacious, but still very user friendly holiday stay.
There is plenty of space inside and out for larger groups or families to hang out enjoy the spectacular views, easy access to the ski ares and mountains. Take walks or randonneé from the doorstep or in the summer enjoy days by Lac Leman - Lake Geneva, basking in the sun or making the most of the variety of water sports available.
We are always making improvements and have taken advantage of the 2020 lockdown and made enormous changes to the garden offer a new terraced area so you can enjoy the fabulous summer weather.

Our own home is on the ground floor of the farmhouse, where we live all year round - take advantage of having us on hand to help and advise with any queries or even a 'cup of sugar'.
Our aim to be there when you need us but not encroach on your privacy. There is plenty of space for all of us.
I have a love of cooking and entertaining and would be delighted to provide a meal or two ( pre booked) to help you relax and unwind during your stay.
Roger is an accomplished mountain man, skiing, climbing - winter and summer and can advise you on any adventures you wish to have.
Max a soon to be fully fledged Ski Instructor can give some tips of the best places to ski.
Along with Ross a Pompier cadet ( fireman) you can rest assured you'll be in safe hands with the Malone family.
We are there to make your holiday as memorable as possible.
