Vackra Lakefront Hem med privat strand

Rustik sjö vid sjön idealiskt belägen för att utforska historiska New England. Huset ligger i slutet av en privat väg på en 1 hektar skogsmark. Huset ligger på en halvö och omges av vatten på tre sidor. De flesta rummen har utsikt över vattnet. Det finns en sandstrand som innehåller en docka. Den gradvisa lutningen på stranden är idealisk för små barn. Huset sover 8 i sovrum och har en drottning bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet. Det finns lätt tillgång till Boston via bil eller kollektivtrafik. Huset har ett rymligt stort rum med gaspis, stor matsal och ett fullt utrustat gourmetkök.

Sommar och höst är utmärkta tider på året för att njuta av att simma i sjön eller koppla av och njuta av reflektionen av höstlövverket i dammen. På vintern finns det lätt tillgång till spår för längdskidåkning. Skidåkning och snowboard finns på Wachusett Mountain Ski Area som är en scenisk 30 minuters bilresa. New England Sport Center ligger en kort bilresa ner 290. Huset är också bekvämt till de många högskolor och sjukhus i Worcester-området.

Peaceful and tranquil. Large space for our family to find alone time and togetherness. Fire pits for smores! And the little beach was so perfect on the quiet lake.

Vacation

Great vacation week at this house. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is huge. It was great having air conditioning. The property was beautiful, nice and shady, and we were able to do a lot of fishing, kayaking and swimming by the dock.

Beautiful home and property. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Had all the conveniences of home. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. Sitting down by the lake was so peaceful! We have adult children - using the firepit and sitting around talking was my favorite part. Would 100% recommend this home.

A serene space

Very spacious home, comfortable, very off the beaten path but quick drive to where we needed to go. Host responded quickly to all our requests/questions. The views are peaceful and beautiful. A perfect overnight get away.

So much potential...

The house is very spacious, so there was more than enough space for our group.. The location was great in terms of the private beach. It's just that the beach and dock were covered in goose poop and some feathers. The outside of the house look like it needs some cleaning to remove yard debris and mildew. Additionally the only AC in my bedroom didn't, was just a fan. It was just disappointing. This location has so much potential. It just needs some attention for it to be an ideal vacation spot.

Family vacation

This was a great home to stay in with our 4 young adult children. The home was in a great location for all the different sight seeing adventures we went on. Having a home allowed us to relax at the end of our day and spend a day being together.

Great location. Nice house. Some small suggestions.

Overall, this was a beautiful location. Quiet and secluded get close to Worcester. Nice layout. Only suggestions regardongwhat we would have liked different is to have soap and shampoo available. Also, the sheets seem very old. But we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful home on the lake

Beautiful home on a “pond” the pond is as big as a lake. Location is great close to city but far out like your way in the country. Lots of spiders though so be aware! Also bring toilet paper supplied is only 1 roll per bathroom. Overall I loved my stay!

Boston Marathon getaway

A very comfortable stay for our daughter's 4th Boston Marathon. Was a bit farther away than I anticipated but it was lovely. Very cozy and felt like home. There was a utility issue but the owner was as responsive and expeditious as possible to get it fixed. We had a great time.

Family Graduation Stay

This lakefront home was perfectly located to WPI Campus for us to attend our son's graduation. The kitchen was well-equipped and the dining table was large enough for our entire family of 8! We enjoyed moments of recreation around the basement pool table and took pictures at the "beach". All slept comfortably, but know that if you need darkness to sleep, the window treatments are not room-darkening. The owner was very prompt with communication. We very much enjoyed out stay!

Big place in a nice location

Home was huge and very clean. Property was nice but a thick layer of leaves covered the patio space and walkways to doors. Well stocked kitchen but guests should be prepared to bring all supplies with them, there was only a single roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, and laundry available but no detergent. Overall, we had a quiet and comfortable stay in a very spacious home.

Lake House

We had a little delay at check in due to the previous renters, but everything went well after that. Coffee maker died and was replaced the next day. The house offers tons of space inside and out. The fishing in the "pond" was great. Very quiet and peaceful area. I'd recommend adding an outside light under the deck at the lower level entrance. The other thing would be to cut back the vegetation that covers the house number so you know what driveway to take.

A quirky retreat- secluded, yet near Worcester

I use the term "quirky", because this house has an unusual layout and unusual decor. Lots of steps to different wings of the house and many small areas outdoors, off of many different rooms. That said, in terms of a family stay, it offered a large kitchen, living room and dining room as gathering spaces. Very well stocked kitchen for food prep and serving. Very clean and updated bathrooms were appreciated. One word of caution- this a raised ranch with access to the house via a full flight of stairs, making settling in and packing up a little difficult for older guests.

All I could ask for

No negatives! Fantastic location and house. Huge bedrooms, living room and dining room. Kitchen was large and fantastic. All necessities were there. Beach is great and water was clear. No neighbors visible. Huge garage. Master bath is terrific. And a working ice machine! Ceiling fans throughout. Bedroom ac great. Love sitting on decks.

Basic amenities lacking!

The property is beautiful and the house is nice, but some very basic amenities were lacking: there was no dish soap in the kitchen and zero towels in the master bathroom!
