Wonderful!

My daughter and I came and stayed for five nights. Location was great. Views were spectacular. Saw whales and turtles right from the property. Would definitely recommend!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: View, view, view! Nothing like having your morning coffee and gazing at the ocean with an unimpeded view. This condo is one of the best equipped I've ever stayed in. Beds were comfy, everything was clean. Highly recommend.

Great stay

Out stay was outstanding...the condo was very nice, well equipped with beach gear and had a lanai that we sat on and watched the whales go by. A really fantastic location. We watched turtles from the pool area. enjoyed the nice barbeques and overall could not have been happier about the condo. The condo manager was very responsive when we had an issue with the air conditioner which was fixed within hours. I will definetly stay here again.

Excellent location!

Great place, great views! We watched the whales each morning as we ate breakfast on the lanai. The kitchen was well stocked. 3 beaches within walking distance - 5 to 15 minutes. I will stay here next trip to Kauai.

Property was exactly as described and lovely. Well stocked with beach chairs, other equipment and everything in working order. Two large bedrooms make everyone comfortable - great beds!

Stunning view and location

Such an amazing location, a perfect place to spend the day at or come home to at the end of an adventure! My wife and I had such a wonderful time here on the South Shore, and were amazed by the views right from the condo and the pool. The condo has everything you need, and we definitely felt it was worth every penny. Our only downside was the extra expense of the athletic club, which we never visited because there was so much more to do.

Great location and comfortable accommodations

We loved the location of this place, we could walk the beach and get to some food options and was close enough to make a short drive to several different areas. The place was amply furnished and the only complaint is rather silly, but I was looking forward to try the adjustable bed and there was no remote found that would allow to operate it, very minor - all was great.

Perfect Poipu Vacation

The condo at 103A Poipu Shores was more than we could ever hope for. It was spotless and had all the amenities. The a/c was amazing during a very warm week. It was close to everything we wanted. Great beaches, restaurants and turtles. It was great watching them come ashore on Poipu Beach. The perfect location. We will definitely be back.

True oceanfront views, great location

Great location! Wish I knew about this place on past visits! True oceanfront out of the room. Lanai on the level one floor that my kids loved. AC worked great. 5min walk to Poipu beach, baby beach, and playground. I’d choose this over hotels on the island again.

Great location!

My husband and I were very pleased with this condo! Staying in Poipu enabled us to easily explore all the different areas on Kauai. We loved that we could walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. There were also a lot of restaurants just a short drive away. We found the condo to have everything we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. We loved being steps away from the ocean when we sat on the patio or hung out at the pool. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful views!

This unit has amazing views of the ocean and we enjoyed being on the ground floor with easy access to the outdoors. The location is great and close by to Brennecke's and Poipu beaches. The unit is really well equipped and comfortable for our family of 4. We had an amazing stay and hope to return in the future!

Just what we wanted in Poipu to be near crashing waves

This unit was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well stocked and all appliances worked perfectly. Beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were appreciated. We enjoyed time in the pool and watching the many sea turtles and spinner dolphins. The walk to Brenekes Beach was so easy. We're considering staying a fourth night next year on our annual Kauai trip.

Book this place!

We had an incredible stay here in Kauai! The property was well-kept, centrally located, and featured incredible views. The unit itself was spacious and fully loaded. The hosts are even kind enough to provide beach chairs, towels, and snorkel gear (the list goes on). We loved seeing the sea turtles make their way on to the beach nearby in the afternoons. It is a must-see for anyone else in the area. We would absolutely book with these hosts again. 10/10!

Beautiful Views

This home had everything we needed for our 7 day trip to Kauai. The location provides amazing views of the ocean and abundant sea turtles. Its proximity to local beaches was great. We cooked almost every night and enjoyed the beautiful sunset from the lanai.

Highly Recommend

This place is spectacular. Not a better view on the island. The location is perfect to navigate around. This unit has beach chairs, towels, washer and dryer. As a vacationer the beach chairs were key. We could explore the island and stop on a beach and sit comfortably.

Great views in Poipu

If you want to hear the crashing of the ocean waves, this is a great property. It was also extremely well-stocked. Probably one of the best stocked vacation rentals that we have stayed at. It was a little small for our family of 2 adults, 3 boys (22,19, 17), however we made it work with supplied self inflating air mattresses. The pool is lovely, and there was always sea turtles in the little bay below the pool. This unit also has a/c and a dehumidifier, so that works out great for the south shore. Very close to nice beaches.

Paradise Found

Perfect for our family stay. Beautiful view, right on the water. Quiet stay, felt like a family vacation home complete with all the amenities like snorkel gear, books on reef fish, Hawaiian names and meanings, etc. walking distance to great beaches and some restaurants. Loved the AC on warmer days.

Paradise

We had everything we needed and more. Awoke each morning with coffee outside watching the waves crash and breathing the fresh smelling ocean air and plants. Short and beautiful walk to beaches or a swim in the pool. We totally enjoyed staying in this lovely home!

Beautiful Stay

I stayed with my husband and his grandparents for four nights. We throughly enjoyed our stay! Nothing can beat the view of wildlife right from the lanai or the stargazing from the grass. We saw so many turtles and dolphins and our upstairs neighbors reported seeing a humpback whale breach. Although you cannot get in the water from this location the beach is just a 10min walk away. I really loved being able to sit on the grass and enjoy the ocean views. My grandparents were very comfortable although it is a little difficult to access for anyone with less mobility (steep parking lot, gravel walk way, there are elevators but still need to traverse walkway and parking lot to access them). This did not detract from my rating of the property, bringing it up here as info for anyone who needs to consider accessibility. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable, exactly as pictured. We were also subject to a thunderstorm and flood watch during our stay. The power went out for several hours in the middle of the night causing WiFi to be down for the remainder of our stay. Despite this, the location experienced no flooding or lasting issues despite the amount of rain (we witnessed other areas becoming severely flooded). The appliances felt brand new and the kitchen was very well equipped (better than other stays I have had). Overall I would definitely stay again if I am ever back visiting Kauai!

Just what our family needed!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay! The condo was perfect as you could sit out on the Lanai and enjoy the unobstructed view of the ocean. My boys played around on the lanai and enjoyed the beautiful pool that sits of the cliff overlooking the ocean below. We could see turtles swimming as well. The Brennecke Beach is a very short walk from the property and we saw a TON of boogie boarders enjoying the small enclosed area. Our family enjoyed the included unlimited use and easy access to Poipu Beach Athletic Club. The al fresca gym was AMAZING! There is a pool there too! The kitchen was well equipped, we didn't use it as much as we thought we would, but if you like to cook on vacation, it's great! The sliding door had some rusted degradation on the locking mechanism latch. I called the managment and they got back to us right away. We ended up using a dowel to secure it "locked" when we were away or at night. It's a pretty safe area, but I'm sure the maintenance will address it upon our departure. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We did utilize the queen sized inflatable mattress for a 3rd bed. The first mattress I found had a rip in it but I was alerted that there was a recently purchased one, which I found in another closet that worked great! They have beach supplies. The bathrooms were well equipped with toiletries and kleenex/toilet paper. We will definitely come back again. It was a GREAT LOCATION and a PERFECT place to enjoy Kauai!!!!
