Perfect!

We had a blissful two weeks in this lovely property, amazing facilities, pool, large hot tub, out door woodfired pizza oven, and sauna. Plenty of room indoors, excellent wifi, tv etc. location perfect for us to use as a base for long walks, remote , and quiet, but not too far from supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Hosts non intrusive and knowledgeable, available if needed. Brilliant time,.would recommend to anyone and everyone. Thank you!

Fabulous place for a family holiday

John and Lesley are fantastic hosts. The property is beautifully maintained with so many wonderful aspects. The swimming pool is heated and a perfect size for family fun. You can also swim at night with beautiful lighting. The area is made safe with kid proof locking. There is a large barbecue area for a big family and a lovely place to sit. There is a secondary entertainment area around the large wood fired pizza oven. We had a splendid night together making pizza. The instruction manual supplied talks you through everything you need to do as well as the detailed instructions you receive on arrival. The kids loved playing table tennis and badminton and we all enjoyed time in the large and high quality hot tub. We never used the sauna as the weather was too hot but it looked excellent. We would strongly recommend visiting their place as we have had one of our best holidays to date. There are so many places to visit in the surrounding area which is detailed in the folder supplied. Thankyou John and Lesley for this wonderful experience. We hope to visit again soon. The Johnston Family

On y est tout simplement bien !

Une grande maison avec tout ce dont on a besoin pour passer de bonnes vacances au calme. Piscine tout simplement splendide, énorme jardin qui a fait plaisir à toute la famille, inclus notre chien. Une cuisine avec tout le nécessaire pour faire la cuisine. Pour les personnes qui n'ont pas envie de cuisiner, faites un petit tour chez "Séverine". Pour les lecteurs anglicistes, plein de livres à découvrir. Last but not least, des hôtes super, un grand merci à Lesley et John. Nous espérons revenir bientôt, Andrea et Bernard

Fantastic Holiday

Property was spotless, had everything we needed. We made good use of the fab pool and used the Spa and Sauna on a few occasions. The pizza oven was a great touch with clear instructions from the hosts. John & Lesley greeted us on arrival to show us around. We had lovely weather and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Charmante villa de campagne

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la maison ancienne à été rénovée avec soin et comporte tout le confort moderne. Les prestations proposées piscine privée, sauna, jacuzzi sont incroyables et leslie et John ont été très disponibles ! A tenter en été !

Lovely holiday

The villa is beautiful and the views were amazing. We had a lovely holiday with 6 adults and 3 dogs. The pool was lovely, the bbq was great, we played table tennis and the area was nice for walks and the garden was big. The kitchen area was big and had everything we needed and there was a good selection of games. We spent a lot of time at Lac Jamaye which was wonderful for the dogs. The owners were very relaxed and helpful with whatever we needed.

WOW!!! Truly magnificent house, excellent facilities and highly recommended.

From first enquiries John and Lesley couldn't have been more helpful. The house was easy to find with the superb directions and helpful information sent prior to our visit. On arrival we were blown away by the property. It is absolutely beautiful, and so well furnished and maintained. The kitchen has every conceivable dish, cup, glass, cutlery, utensil and gadget you can imagine. For a family with 2 chefs it was a dream to not have to sharpen the kitchen knives! The beds were the comfiest we have experienced on all our travels and the library of books (fiction, non fiction, biographies, cook books and local tourist information) was HUGE!! AND then there's the gardens.... The pool is fantastic and despite the weather not being brilliant during our stay we still managed a dip nearly every day due to the solar heating. There are more than enough loungers, chairs, cushions and parasols. A huge outside dining area is excellently positioned and the BBQ is huge. We used the hot tub on several occasions due to the weather and it was a dream. Unfortunately we never got round to using the sauna but the hubby now has plans to build one at home... We used the pizza oven too (which also has another huge dining area) on several occasions and was easy to use, and the box provided contained all the necessary items and instructions needed for successful pizza making! We played table tennis and badminton and the kids loved the swings. John and Lesley were easily contactable and provided invaluable assistance when we had to visit the local GP and then A&E with the baby during our stay. Thankfully there was nothing seriously wrong and our holiday continued on without a hitch. We will definitely consider returning in the future, along with extended family, to enjoy the facilities provided in this beautiful place. Many thanks to John and Lesley for so much thought and care that has gone into providing families with a real home from home x
