Med attraktionerna och restaurangerna i Daylesford och Hepburn spa-land bara fem minuter bort är Hollow Log Estate den perfekta resan för upptagna människor och deras hundar.

Stoney är en charmig, stuga i studio-stil gjord av Castlemaine sten och skiffer. Det sover upp till två. Rekommenderas i tidskriften The Age, Best Weekends Away. Stoney är perfekt för en romantisk tillflyktsort eller en flykt för människor som vill koppla av med sina husdjur. Som en studio passar utrymmet endast för en hund eller två små hundar.

Peaceful

Excellent location just a short drive from Daylesford. The cottage is very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Our dog loved the dog play area. Would recommend.

Great little get away for us and our dog!

Fantastic place to stay for a get away with you and your furry friend. Our dog loved it, he would sit at the door waiting to go back outside to the dog play area! The property was very clean and accommodating, it was great to just relax and regenerate. Highly recommend!

Awesome pet holiday

This was our first holiday with our dog Archie. The Stoney cottage was charming; hosts friendly and helpful. We all had a lovely relaxing stay. We'd love to go back :)

Beautiful little studio cottage with a lovely outlook. We had a lovely stay with our 2 dogs and were made to feel very welcome but also felt we were on our own.

Short weekend away

We were in desperate need of some time away and our stay with Ali was 10/10. The grounds were stunning at the cottage was perfect and cosy. Super pet friendly which was awesome as well. Could not recommend this stay enough! Thanks for such a ripper weekend Ali xxx

We loved our stay!

Hollow Log Stoney is a cute miner's cottage with everything that you need for a lovely short stay. It was very clean and comfortable. The smell from the pot belly stove was amazing! It's also a wonderful place to stay with your dog. Lots of room to run around and lakes to swim in.

Perfect mini holiday with pets

Amazingly property located a short drive from daysleford. We wanted a relaxing, quiet and beautiful place to stay with our dogs, hollow log estate delivered. Definitely would recommend to others. Perfect getaway. Pups loved it too.

The property was beautifully maintained. We stayed in The Stoney and were the only ones for the three nights we were there. Lisa and Ali were very accommodating and the two areas for the dogs were perfect. There were a lot of little touches that the girls have put in place that makes the stay hard to fault.

Tranquil

The Stoney was a cosy stone cottage, wamed by a pot belly type log fire. It was well presented and very clean. We loved the sourdough breakfast hamper and bottle of wine on arrival. Our dog had the best time and enjoyed all the space on the property. Would recommend to anyone for a tranquil and relaxing getaway.

A slice of heaven!

A beautiful cottage, and the owners supplied breakfast and a bottle of wine. Delightful to wake up to chirping birds and kangaroos out in the fields. Breathtaking views across to Wombat Forest. Roco the greyhound had the best holiday of his life! We can't wait to return.

Easy drive from city for a peaceful retreat.

Quiet & beautiful views of paddocks, bush, and starry night sky yet so close to Daylesford. Doggo friendly. Stoney was able to easily meet all our needs. Fireplace lovely and warm & Stoney in general very comfortable and well equipped....Good walks abundant. And cute sheep and chicken hanging around.

Excellent retreat for adults and their pets :)

The cottage is gorgeous and in a lovely location. Very small, but met all our requirements more than adequately. Our lab thought it was amazing and I'm sure would have happily stayed forever. The doggy area is well fenced, so we could truly sit and relax while he just ran and explored. Alison was lovely - very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be back:)

Such a well thought out place to stay!

We had such a lovely time staying at the Hollow Log Estate. We wished we could have stayed longer. We escaped for a weekend without the kids but with the dog which was a nice treat. It's a great place to relax and unwind and had we not forgotten the toothpaste we wouldn't have left the accommodation all weekend. There's a paddock especially set-up for dogs and there's a great little walk to do in the nearby Wombat State Forest. I loved that everything was well thought out: kitchen, pantry and dog wise. We'll be back.

My partner and I spent a very happy ten days here whilst looking for a possible move next year to Daylesford. The owners were most helpful in introducing us to the neighbourhood and welcomed us royally. Despite it being cold and wet, we were snug inside with everything catered for that we could wish. Staying for a long period meant that we spent more time inside the cottage and cooked at home more than on a normal holiday break.The facilities made it so easy to slip into a domestic home-from-home routine. We'll be back next year.

Not just for dogs, honest.

Marketed for folks with dogs, but we two humans went along on our own and stayed in the smaller cottage and had a fine old time. We did put the rug outside mind, as that's where I assume our canine friends spend their time while not romping around the property. Nice cottage, very quite, well fitted, clean with wooden floors. Just a very short drive into Dayelsford etc. (you can't really walk). Cooking facilities in the small cottage were not great, but we managed to whip up nachos one night, then just went for a bought pasta sauce the next to avoid the hassle. Ate out for other meals; the cafe in the botanical gardens is worth a look. We spent a weekend bush walking and tootling around Dayelsford and would have loved to stay longer.

Great stay

A beautiful property. The accommodation was clean and the open fire only needed a match to gain the fires warmth. Very quiet, close to town and various other sights. It's a B&B worth staying at.

Perfect as always!

Second stay in the Stoney did not disappoint! Everything was perfect for our two nights, the breakfast provisions, the wood fire, the bed linens, all lovely and cosy. So much so, we only ventured out a couple of times the whole weekend!

Our little farm stay

We had such a fantastic stay at Alison's property. Our dog, Lachlan, was in absolute heaven running around the large dog friendly property. We sat near the fire at night, played chess, cooked breakfast with Alison's beautiful breakfast box, and we were very close to town. Highly recommend - we will be back!

Pet friendly, well appointed clean & cosy studio, close to local attractions

Thank you for a lovely stay on your beautiful property. We had a wonderful time with our two dogs. The enjoyed running free on the property and were mesmerised by the sheep and ducks! They loved the treats you left for them. The breakfast hamper was generous. The raspberry jam was very tasty! Great place, we will definitely come back.

Christmas Laughs

My wife and I just wanted a quiet Christmas as our family have left home, we thought this cabin sounded perfect for us and our 2 dogs and all went well till we were woken on Christmas morning by loud laughter it turns out Kookaburras do not respect Christmas day, they also serenaded us of an evening and following mornings. Christmas in Australia.
