På The Edge - Waterfront & Kajaker

Ligger rätt "ON THE EDGE" av Smiths Lake. Från denna PREMIUM WATERFRONT-position ser huset över sjön och ger fantastisk utsikt från det underhållande däcket och från det gräsbevuxna området nedan.

En privat väg leder dig genom den lugna busken inställning ner till sjön och sandstranden nedanför. Kajaker (1x dubbel och 3x singel) och Tommy tinny (roddbåt) sitter och väntar på att njutas. Rutt över till pelikan eller kajak ut till sandbaren och bada i kristallvattnet i Cellito Beach.

Ta en lugn promenad längs sjön kanten till närliggande "Frothy Coffee" för en latte eller lunch. Eller hellre fortfarande lata på dagbädden, njut av utsikten och rikligt fågelliv och gör absolut ingenting annat än slappna av! Du förtjänar det !!!

HUSET

Huset är två våningar och smakfullt inrett med en modern känsla i hela. Massor av ljus och fantastisk utsikt över sjön eller bushen från varje rum. Boendet består av 5 sovrum, 2 kök, 2 badrum, 2 levande områden och en stor underhållande DECK med utsikt över sjön.

IDEAL FÖR - En familj, två familjer eller vänner som gillar att semestra tillsammans men också njuta av lite självständighet och stunder av integritet.

UPSTAIRS - 3 sovrum (2 queen, 1 våningssängar), kök, badrum, vardagsrum och rymligt underhållande däck.

NEDSTAIRS - 2 sovrum (1 Queen, 1 Dubbelsäng), kök, badrum, vardagsrum och gräsyta som ligger ovanför sjön.

PLATS

Mindre än 3 timmar norr om Sydney mellan Seal Rocks och Forster.

Pacific Palms är ett naturligt paradis omgivet av Wallis Lake, Smiths Lake, Myall Lakes och Stilla havet. Detta område har orörda avskilda stränder och nationalparker. Smiths Lake är den minsta av sjöarna och är skild från havet av en naturlig sandbar. Det ger extremt säker simning för barn och är också utmärkt för vattensporter.

LOKALA ATTRAKTIONER
Smiths Lake - Amaroo Beach, Kids Playground, The Frothy Coffee Cafe "och Boatshed.

Pacific Palms är idealisk för simning, surfing, kajakpaddling, snorkling, vindsurfing, segling, vattenskidor, fiske, 4W körning, golf, tennis, bushwalking, delfiner och valskådning från Seal Rocks fyr. Det finns en lokal marknad, en vingård och båt och flodmynningar.

Stränder inkluderar 7 mil, Elizabeth, Shelly (endast födelsedagsdräkt!), Boomerang, Blueys, Cellito, Seal Rocks och Förräderi.
Nationalparkerna inkluderar Booti Booti, Wallingat och Myall Lakes.

Lokala affärer ligger en kort promenad bort och inkluderar en slaktare, bagare, butiksaffär, flaskaffär, frisör och en fisk- och chipsaffär. Färsk fisk och skaldjur som fångas lokalt, liksom kemiker, deli, surfbutik etc. är en kort bilresa bort, liksom restauranger, kaféer och klubbar för att äta ute. För större shopping är Forster 20 minuter bort.

Great tree top lake access

Great for two families holidaying together with separate living spaces upstairs & downstairs. Excellent view of lake through trees. Steep walk down to access beautiful lake but manageable. In the house no fuss living with basic kitchen facilities.

A revisit 15 years later …

I didn’t realise when I booked that we had stayed here exactly 15 years ago and not much has changed. This is reflective of Smiths Lake fullstop. Time stands still here. The house is not luxury but more than adequate … it has everything we needed. Adult children enjoyed having their own downstairs - it needs a bit of an air but is fine otherwise. Upstairs has the spacious balcony with the best day bed that is in the shade in the afternoon. We brought a bit of Trill and the birds kept coming early morning, late afternoon and the brush turkey cleaned up any remnants. The cicadas were unseasonably loud - an experience. The kayaks, life jackets and kayak seats are all in good condition - we used them almost daily. There are two tracks to the lake - a goat track and an easier ‚easy‘ track k - not too strenuous at all. There is no air con but plenty of fans and the Louvre windows help catch the cool breeze. Even on the hottest days the house cooled quickly. This was our fifth stay in Smiths Lake and we can honestly say On the Edge is best value for money. Add Jackie‘s outstanding communication and you’ve got yourself a great place to stay.

Lovely position & stunning sunsets!

The location and outlook from this house was amazing, stunning sunsets most nights! Everything was neat and tidy but the rooms & living spaces (indoor) were smaller than expected for two families to share the house. The deck area was however very spacious with big table & bbq which was lovely. The kitchens are also an older style kitchen with no dishwasher. The driveway is not sealed and very steep so I would recommend only 4WD type cars use it. The owners were extremely accomodating & the set up with all kayaks down at the lake was fantastic. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Family getaway

Had a great weekend in Smiths Lakes celebrating my dads 50th. Great location, kids had so much fun on the lake using the kayaks provided. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful lakeside location

- Location of the house is beautiful. Right by lakeside, with direct access to Lake and gorgeous sunset views. - - house has quite a few kayaks and life jackets suitable for all ages. kids loved it. - Great fishing spots nearby - pictures on Stayz.com.au are not accurate and recent. - house is not suitable for families with dust and mold allergies. - Spider webs inside the house - all fans , furniture and balcony timber deck needs nice deep cleaning

Lovely house on the lake

We went there with a couple of families. The property was beautiful and perfectly located next to the lake. The lake access was easy. The amenities provided were excellent. Lots of kayaks to play around with. Well stocked pantry. We had lovely days by the lake. Cooked up delicious meals in the kitchen and bbq. No wi fi though and phone reception is poor on most networks. The rooms needed a bit of airing out, might have been shut for a while. Great stay overall and great communication with the host. Smith's Lake getaway

Great location

Clean, well appointed and room for all (family of 5). Great location. We had a nice stay. Would have been nice to know there's no internal staircase to the downstairs bedrooms, however. This was an issue due to the inclement weather we had. Owner communication was excellent.

On the edge was a perfect family holiday

Extremely poor service from HomeAway I will never rent a a house through them again, incompetent systems and withheld my funds and claimed technical issues for not releasing my security deposit. If you you want to book this house please use Airbnb site

Super relaxing!

What a wonderful place to get away from it all! We had 2 families staying here with more than enough room for everyone to spread out and find space. The hammock was highly prized by both adults and children, particularly being in the shade during the heat of the day. Kayaks were used constantly and I hope the neighbours didn't mind too much the sounds of children enjoying themselves in the water! The wildlife were so friendly and my husband even had the birds eating out of his hand! Thank you so much. Already thinking about a return visit!!

Excellent holiday home

we just relaxed

There was a group of 9 ladies. We spend a weekend away once a year.We specifically go away to catch up and relax. This place was perfect. Didn't get in the car from time we arrived till the time we left. Walks along the lake or down to Frothy Coffee was our speed.Communication from Jackie was faultless.
