Varför inte planera en middag för 4 eller 6 i stugan. Dina vänner kunde stanna i närheten. Drycker vid elden följt av middag, eller på sommaren är drinkar under träden härlig.

BABIES IN COT är mest välkomna under 6 månader. Det finns gott om utrymme att rymma.
Trädgården är din att vandra i eller bara sitta tyst. Det finns gott om fågelliv och trädgården är fylld med rosor och engelska stauder under våren / sommaren. Den har varit öppen för allmänheten i flera år. Du kan njuta av en tidig morgonpromenad med fåglarna i COOLER-månaderna, eller smyga vid elden (om du väljer att tända det) och läsa en av de valda böckerna eller tidningarna. Kanske en resa till många av de underbara kaféerna i distriktet för en uppvärmningsbehandling. Kanske ett djupt bad fullt av bubblor !!
Det finns en ljusfylld studio / trädgård för dem som gillar att måla. Allt du behöver är ditt papper / penslar, och lite inspiration.

Det finns promenader i närheten, och känguruer besöker ofta på kvällarna. Solnedgångar är en behandling, och morgonsolen stiger upp i Rose Cottage. Varför inte en behandling på det japanska badhuset i närheten.
Du kommer att hitta många detaljer vid Rose Cottage som säger "Välkommen". Underbara kläder och badprodukter ....... de små berör det som spelar någon roll.
Maten vin regionerna Bathurst / Orange och Mudgee är en kort bilresa bort. Mitten av Blue Mountains ligger också bara 30 minuters bilresa.
XPT anländer och avgår dagligen till Rydal, och Rose Cottage ligger en kort promenad från stationen. Endast fred väntar !!

STAY: Host was great. It's moreorless like staying over at her house. Suited for a couple (not family) Came from Adelaide for friends wedding at 'Seclusions Blue Mountain' (10min away) so chose here for convenience. FOOD: For foodies, it's a dry. closest town Lithgow (20min away) had one hip cafe 'The Lithgow Tin Shed' (but no dinner). 'Curry in a Hurry' inside shopping mall was surprisingly good (handmade Naan on the spot). SITES: 'Flat rock picnic area's (30min away) is a must. 'Mayfield Garden' (45min away) is a must.

Country slow down

It was a lovely space to relax and slow down in. Rydal was a place of of time. Rosie is a lovely hostess and her local knowledge helped us get the most from our stay. The history of the area is interesting to find out about. Loved the heated floors and that lovely deep bath in Rose Cottage.

Stay Long Weekend June 2024

A home away from home. This 1860 cottage is just beautiful and a calming escape from the stress and business of life. Arrived to a beautifully preheated space with incredible charm. Rosie is the perfect host on this property. We loved the breakfasts served to us each morning. We can’t wait to visit again.

A Lovely Weekend

There was great communication from Rosie prior to our arrival. After vehicle issues on the trip to Rydal we arrived to find the cottage all pre heated and Rosie made us feel very welcome. Each morning we had a beautiful breakfast, before heading out to enjoy our day. We shall definitely come back to stay again, thank you Rosie. Michael & Virginia

Cute Country Cottage

We had an amazing stay at Rose cottage. It was the most adorable little cottage accommodation we have stayed in. The bed was comfortable, the woodfire was prefect and the bathroom/shower was well appointed and modern. Our host Rosie was welcoming and friendly and the breakfast provided was delightful. We plan to make this an annually weekend getaway. Thank you Rosie.

Rose Cottage

Thanks Rosie for having me and my doggo Henry stay at your cottage. We stayed 2 nights and had everything we needed. The cottage is a short drive to the japanese bath house and a 45 min drive to Mayfield gardens. Breakfast was provided both mornings which was great. Thanks again for sharing your place with us.

Lovely cottage

Rosie's cottage is so lovely, warm and welcoming. I stayed there with my husband and it was just the perfect winter retreat. We also enjoyed the lovely breakfast prepared by Tui (I loved the jams!) and the check in/out process was super smooth. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quite, traditional countryside break!

If you wish to experience an authentic cottage, rose cottage is for you. Set in the 1800s with a coffee machine to boot!

Beautiful escape to the country

I highly recommend Rose Cottage if anyone is looking for a beautiful place to stay in the Blue Mountains. It is gorgeously decorated, with all the added extras (like bath salts and dressing gowns!). Sitting near the fireplace at night is wonderful and walking in the gardens with the puppies is lovely. I spent my weekend reading, walking around the sights of historic Rydal and relaxing. It is the perfect getaway. Highly recommended and bonus points for being puppy friendly! Thanks Rosie and Tui for my perfect weekend away.

Amazing quiet retreat

Perfect little cottage for a pet friendly getaway. Rosie is incredibly kind, welcoming and her cozy cottage was exactly what we wanted. An added bonus is what a fantastic cook she is!! Highly recommend!

True mountains experience

Rosie's cottage is a delightfully renovated, cosy and wonderfully warm old-style cottage with a lovely fireplace and beautiful, heated-floor bathroom. Rosie provides a delicious breakfast, including whatever style coffee you like and homemade jams in her beautiful kitchen/dining area. Rosie herself is warm and friendly and non-intrusive. Rydal is a small, quiet country town - away from the crowds but close enough to wonderful attractions. Just the sort of delightful mountains experience we were after and will always treasure.

Cute and cosy retreat

Rose Cottage at Rydal is a warm, cosy sanctuary for a couple to escape from the winter chills. Our host, Rosie, welcomed us to her home when we arrived in the late afternoon and showed us through the compact abode which provided all we would need for our overnight mid-winter stay, including electric blankets and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Next morning, Rosie provided a generous continental breakfast in the welcoming kitchen that resembles a French provincial farmhouse. Our Cavoodle, Ruby, also gave 4-out-of-4 paws for our stay! Thank you, Rosie!

A very quiet and beautiful place.

We enjoyed our 2 nights at Rose B and B.The breakfast was lovely and the dinner we had there was delicious! It would be great to go back in the winter so we could enjoy the cosy fire.
