En idealisk plats för det avkopplande get-a-way från det livliga livets rörelse. På morgnarna kommer du att vakna till skidorna som sjunger deras morgonsång utanför ditt fönster, sedan på kvällarna, gå med dem på verandan med ett glas vin för att se solen gå ner medan de sjunger dig god natt.

A cottage with wonderful views

A cottage with a great from the verandah. We arrived late but the cottage exceeded our expectations, wish we could stayed longer, nothing was missing. We gave the local pub around the corner a visit and here we found out more points of interest to visit, but because we only passing by we have to stop next time a day longer.

Good old fashioned pride in product offered.

Located in outback town location this simple 3 bedder ticks all the boxes many more elaborate and expensive accommodation houses fail to provide. Every imaginable requirement is provided for the weary traveller to comfortably pull off the road for a night or two. Clean, quiet and well equipped. Well done Susan.

Stop over on way to Port Lincoln

Love Orroroo. Have stayed at Black Jack Cottages 3 times now. 3 different cottages. ( Nana's Home, Kangaroo Cottage and Magpie's Nest. Next time Possums Cottage. ) so comfy, clean and relaxing. Susan is a fantastic host. We will be back. Thanks Susan 👍

Comfortable and Clean

We had a relaxing and pleasant stay with everything we could need including the fire set, breakfast and warm beds. If I was in this area again, I would definitely stay here.

Peaceful and charming

Very peaceful spot in between two similar properties (if you were traveling as a group would be perfect to rent all three!). Everything was clean and comfortable. Loved our stay and would recommend.

Best pet friendly accommodation in Australia!

What an awesome place to stay! Pet friendly, warm and cosy. Plenty of parking for our work truck too. And an enclosed yard that our doggos loved! Quiet with great views of the hills. So glad Orroroo is only a few hours from home, I reckon this will be our ‘get a away from it all’ place. Thanks Susan

A lovely place in a quiet area with lots of walking trails and bush nearby. Close enough to walk to town. The fire was on and the place was warm on arrival which was really appreciated

Restful and relaxing overnight stay!

We stayed here after driving from Ceduna and it was such a refreshing stay, the house is beautiful, lots of space, enclosed backyard (which was great for our two dogs) and fantastic air con! The shower and bed was amazing, best sleep we’ve ever had, the surrounds were picturesque and quiet. We really appreciated the little extras like the cereals, toast and juice, I just wish we had time to use them! Thank you for our wonderful stay!!

Fabulous property

We loved our stay at Black Jack Get Away. Such a lovely house in a great location. Easy to walk around Orroroo. Great location to see the Flinders Ranges.

Back Again!

This is still the perfect rest stop for us travelling to and from Alice Springs. Ordered a homemade dinner this time as I knew we would get in late. Great to have it waiting for us on arrival! Delicious too.
