Lovely peaceful getaway

This is a beautiful place to stay to reconnect with nature and each other. Very cozy, fireplace keeps you warm in winter, excellent hot water and pressure in the shower. The garden is nicely secluded and the views are just stunning. Lots of birds and Kangaroos. Convenient location for walks and exploring. Fantastic communication with property owner. Has everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Exceeded all expectations

What a beautiful place to get stuck when there is wind, rain and hail outside. It was nice and warm inside with woodfire heater going while watching rain drops running down the window outside.

Wonderful

Setting of house is so beautiful. View is amazing, gardens are so lovely and private. House has everything you need, even warm socks provided. Wood fire very appreciated. Garden tyre swings very appreciated by our 6 year old! And so many games left in house to use. Lives playing music through cd player in house. Amazing being able to bring our dog! Perfect stay, can’t wait to go again! Able to walk through nearby properties.

A taste of serenity

The only noise we hear are the varying birds that come and visit the property. This time we were privileged to see nine black cockatoos as well as Kangaroos and rabbits. The dogs had a ball running around on such a large property and we settled down to a glass of wine. My kind of holiday. Thank you

Relaxing Family Getaway

Deep Creek Retreat was the absolute perfect place to enjoy our first ever long weekend away with our 11-month old. The house and grounds were immaculate and very well looked after, we enjoyed wandering through the garden and spending time away from our phones and TV. We loved the privacy but also how easy it was to get to places like the beach. And being able to bring our dog along made it even better! We can't wait to come back.

The house was terrific with loads of space and magical views. We were relatively close to all of the required touristy places to visit, however the property was very self sufficient, quiet and just wonderful for a few days away from every day life, a great place to stay.

Perfect weekend getaway

A beautiful property in such a pretty part of the SA. Deep Creek is one of the states best kept secrets. The photos of the views and gardens don’t do this home justice ! To walk in the front door and be greeted by the picture window looking out over the gully and across to KI was really special. We enjoyed walks around the property, spending time in the lovely gardens, relaxing on the decks and completing unwinding from our hectic lives. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed for our long weekend, and communication from the hosts was excellent. We will definitely be back and look forward to spending a few extra days on our next visit.

A Beautiful Sanctuary

This property is a beautiful sanctuary away from the busy hustle of life. Enough space to meander through the gardens and a large window looking out onto Kangaroo Island. It is a place to switch off digitally and enjoy nature and the bird noises. Highly recommend it.

The perfect digital detox

The property was all we expected and set in a fantastic tree filled block with views down to Kangaroo Island. No wifi or tv and almost no mobile phone coverage makes for a perfect time to detach from the noise of the world....and....breath. We loved DCR.

A lovely, peaceful getaway.

We loved our stay. The house is very private, surrounded by a beautiful, tranquil, shady garden. The house is very well presented and has everything needed for a great stay, It has a beautiful view from the living room, across the hills to the sea. Farm animals, birds and kangaroos can be seen passing by. Great location, a short drive to the beach or into the national park.
