Home away from home

Great place to stay ! Main bedroom really nice - with amazing ensuite and lovely view to back, living areas look beautiful and are very functional. Walking distance to beach.

Pleasant stay at Kennett

Gary was a fabulous host who always communicated promptly with us. The property was just as described. It is in a fantastic location across from Koala Kafe, the caravan park and the beach. The bedding was comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied with utensils.

Kennett River All Seasons Escape

Fantastic place to stay. Place was lovely and clean, loved the decor. Rooms were spacious and it had a great feel. Close to beach and river walkway. Koalas were spotted in trees just outside each day of our stay. Also saw kangaroos on reserve nearby.

Sneaky Romantic Weekend Away

A very cozy house and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed the fire at night, and the early morning wake-up call by Blinky Bill.

Favorite place that we stayed

I loved Kennett river. It is absolutely gorgeous with abundant wildlife. Gary was a great host and provided us with a lot of information about the rental and things to do. His property is very close to the beach and even had a koala in the tree next to the rental.

Gorgeous property in the heart of Kennett River. 2 mins to everything. Very neat and tidy and beautifully decorated, with everything you need. Plenty of room and beds.

Another great holiday.

This was our second time staying at this gorgeous property and we enjoyed it even more than the first time. Very comfortable, well appointed house, quiet, feels like home. Perfect location. We did see koalas nearly every day, from the deck. Thank you.

Lovely spot and well-appointed home

We loved our stay here! The downstairs master suite is really pleasant and the wood fire, lounge and kitchen are snug, cosy, comfy and well appointed. Our kids enjoyed being up in the loft! Having koalas in the trees outside was amazing, and the walls in the area are fantastic. So well positioned for the walks, the beach, the cafe… right in the thick of things yet still private and tucked away. Gary was really excellent to deal with.

Dream weekend

We loved everything about the bnb. Within minutes of arriving we saw a Koala in the garden of the property. The location of the bnb could not be more perfect, minutes walk to the Cafe, the river for fishing and the sea. We highly recommend this bnb.

Enjoyable Family Weekend

We had a really enjoyable stay. Great location for exploring all that the area has to offer - beach, kolas, kangaroos, glow worms etc. The house had everything we needed for a weekend away. Loved all the artwork and quirky decor.

Koala neighbour

Peaceful, relaxing stay. Creative decor, well-appointed kitchen. Lovely private balcony, with a koala in the tree outside. Only downside for two adults sleeping separately was the lack of airflow in the loft. Overall a wonderful stay!

Lovely house, beautiful location

A really lovely house, in the perfect location. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, walks along the river, seeing the local wildlife and all the home comforts of this beautiful house.

Kennett River All Seasons Escape - shhh don't tell anyone

Location 100 points !!! Amenities of the property are great , kitchen well equipped & communication with owner easy & efficient , they responded to our texts immediately :-) My only suggestion is mattresses need to be replaced, we struggled to get a good nights rest and the kitchen needs a thorough clean ... however we just wiped and washed kitchen items prior to use .. Look forward to returning ... thank you .....

Walk everywhere. Excellently appointed kitchen. Everything worked. Bed way too soft in master, but enough beds in the place to find one just right. Great host!

Peaceful Retreat By the Beach

Despite peak season of Easter holidays, the position of the property means you are protected from noise and onlookers. And within minutes your at the beach. The accommodation is lovely and being a distance from shops, restaurants etc., it was fantastic to cook in a such a spacious, well-equipped kitchen. Really enjoyed our stay and would go back. I'm thinking Winter to make use out of the fire place. Communication with the owner was prompt and he kindly sent me some clothing I'd left behind. Would highly recommend.
