Harvest Farm är en 18-tunnland egendom belägen strax utanför kåkstaden Healesville, med utsikt över Healesville Sanctuary och omgiven av utsikt över bergen. Harvest Farm har två helt separata fristående två sovrum stugor - Harvest House och Dairy House. Inuti två vackert detaljerade king size-sovrum, ett stort badrum med spa och fönster till trädgården, fullt utrustat kök och öppen planlösning med vedeldet, slutför stugorna.

På en mild nordlig sluttning har Harvest Farm en stor köksträdgård med gästerna välkomna att välja sina måltider och ropa fastigheten och dess rymliga trädgårdar fyllda med rosor, rhododendroner, decennier gamla kamelier och mogna träd, inklusive den berömda 130-åriga ek träd.

Njut av gröna gräsmattor, lekplats och trädkoja för barnen, en plats för cricket eller koppla av på en solstol under ett skuggigt träd med utsikt över bergen. När temperaturen dämpar, tänd elden, häll ett stort glas rött och titta på dimmorna och molnen genom dalen.

Harvest House

Harvest House har vitkalkade golv, franska dörrar som öppnar på en expansiv däck, grill och omges av en privat trädgård av kamelior, rosor, stora ekar och bergsutsikt.

Två sovrum fristående stuga, kung sängar (en kan delas), ved eld, öppen planlösning, spa bad.

Dairy House

Dairy House är en gammal mjölkgård, en helt renoverad original gårdsstuga. Perfekt för en romantisk paus, två par eller liten familj. Glidande glasdörr som öppnar på ett stort däck med egen grill och en stugardrädgård med stora ekar, rosor och barnspel.

En två sovrum fristående stuga, kung sängar (en kan delas), ved eld, öppen planlösning, spa bad.

Lovely location and comfortable house.

We had a very comfortable stay and we were very happy to be able to bring our old dog along with us. The setting is beautiful, with a bounteous and extensive produce garden to enjoy.

Lovely weekend away

Very peaceful and beautifully set up little cottage, perfect for a weekend getaway from Melbourne. A short drive to Healesville sanctuary. Loved the veggie garden where we could pick some strawberries for breakfast and could also get fresh eggs from the chooks!

Charming farmhouse property

The location is great, close to shops and next door to the Healsville Sanctuary. The property is literally on a small farm with cows, goats, sheep, and chickens. The veggie garden is available for picking (and we did!) as well as the eggs. The owners are on the property and very responsive. FYI, there is no WiFi but internet works.

Pretty inviting and full of the little comforts

This property was so quiet and quaint. Very welcoming and still just. 5 min drive to all you needed. Accommodate 4 adults comfortably, lovely furnishing, bedding Lovely tranquil outdoor space and modern facilities,breakfast was a welcome bonus. We loved it, we’ll be back 100%.

Cosy for winter

We took our cavoodle and it was perfect, we felt safe opening the door and letting him roam at his will, we even had the owners dog come to say hi and ask for him for a play date 😊. We went during the colder months so had the fire on the whole time, ample firewood is provided. House was beautiful, large rooms and comfy bed, and just so quiet. We definitely plan to return. Thank you

Family friendly farm stay

We had a wonderful stay in the harvest cottage. Stayed with our 18month old and she loved visiting the cows, sheep and chooks each day and roaming the large property including playground. The cottage had everything we needed amenities wise and is a 2min drive to the entrance of healesville sanctuary which is handy if you are visiting with small children. Karina our host was really attentive to our needs and were provided with a breakfast hamper on arrival including fresh produce from the vege patch and orchard.

We planned our trip around a ballooning experience that was unfortunately cancelled due to bad weather. We enjoyed our, very comfortable, relaxing weekend. The property and its amenities were perfect. Would definitely go back

Charming cottage with fabulous gardens

We (my family and dogs) just loved our stay at Dairy House. It was lovely and relaxing with gorgeous gardens…special mention to the amazing veggie garden. Karina and Bob (and Bo the Groodle) were lovely hosts and welcomed us with a delicious breakfast hamper. We will definitely be returning. Loved it!

Yarra Valley charmer

Amazing stay!

The photos don’t really do the place justice. The property is stunning, especially during Autumn. Perfect spot for a toddler to run around. Very spacious inside and out. The hosts were friendly as can be as well. Can’t recommend it enough!

Lovely property, very comfortable

We had a lovely relaxing few days at this property. Cows, sheep and an alpacca in the field nearby greeted us in the morning, the grounds were great to just stroll around, the property itself was clean, kitchen well stocked with utensils and bedrooms were huge (and comfortable). Would definitely stay again.

Very clean, comfortable cottage.

Cute little cottage perfect for a small family and pet. Could do with some more modern appliances such as a bigger TV, Ottoman, more crockery etc but overall a great place to stay. Breakfast basket was a real treat too. Beds were a little hard for me but perfect for my husband, I guess its a matter of personal choice on that one. Absolutely stunning gardens and property. Fabulous being able to pick fresh fruit straight from the tree and visit the chooks. We'll be back.

Harvest House

We loved the 4 nights that we stayed in harvest house with our fury human (Rocket). The location is perfect for anyone looking to explore the surrounding area and even better if you're just wanting to spend a few days doing nothing. We will be back.

Beautiful, stunning and peaceful! Will absolutely go back.

We had the best experience from start to finish. The cottage was beautiful and peaceful with everything we needed. Fantastic location as you feel away from everything yet all the best places to visit are all a 5-15 minute drive away. Karina was so lovely to liaise with and made our stay easy and relaxed. We will definitely be re-booking.

Idyllic cottage

A traditional cottage in a beautiful setting. Plenty of space for 4 adults. Lovely touches like fresh flowers and a bath tub to die for. The photos don't do it justice. Would love to return.

Having reached that time in life when the kids have grown up and moved out, we asked ourselves "what next"? After a life time of living in wonderful Melbourne (other than stints overseas and interstate), we decided it was time for a "tree change". Where the air is clear, the night sky bright with stars, where we hear birds and frogs rather than traffic, and where our gaze is only interrupted by mountains and trees. A place where time slows down and we can connect more deeply with people and nature. And where we can share our piece of paradise with guests looking for some respite from the everyday bustle of life.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Only an hour or so out of Melbourne, just a few minutes drive from the delightful township of Healesville, we are perfectly located in the middle of the Yarra Valley and the myriad attractions it offers to visitors. Harvest Farm itself is simply one of the most scenic and idyllic places. The expansive ornamental and vegetable gardens, the sounds of our chickens, ducks, cows and sheep calling to each other, the majestic trees and mountain views, and the privacy afforded to our guests in their own self-contained cottages, make this a place that is truly unique.
