Radhus den perfekta semestern i Provence

Huset ligger i hjärtat av byn. Rätt över från caféet, och bara några steg från slaktaren, dagligvaruhandeln, bageri, kyrka och flera restauranger. Livet i Provence är precis utanför dörren. Detta är en by som är full av vanlig vardag och verkliga Provence charm. Livlig under dagen men lugnt på natten.

I Goult finns det mycket att se och det är lätt att komma åt bra spår för promenader. Det är också nära till många sevärdheter, städer, marknader och externa aktiviteter.

Huset är en sten hus på tre våningar. Det finns en innergård med en liten pool och slappa område i ryggen. Huset är gamla men var helt moderniserades 2002. Atmosfären är lätt, enkel och avslappnad. Huset kan lätt rymma två familjer. Två sovrum, två badrum, två enkelrum med två bäddar i varje.

Bottenvåningen: vardagsrum med öppen spis. Fullt utrustat kök med matplats (direkt tillgång till återkoppling gården och poolområdet).
 
1: a våningen: 3 sovrum: Sovrum n ° 1: 1 queen size-säng (160x200cm) med handfat och tillgång till balkongen. Sovrum nr 2: 1 enkelsäng (90x190cm) plus en mycket robust extra säng som ofta används för vuxna.
Sovrum nr 3: bekväm våningssängar säng (90x190cm) .Bathroom (handfat, badkar med dusch och toalett)
 
2: a våningen: sovrum nr 4: 1 king size-säng (180x200cm) och en sittgrupp / soffa. Duschrum (handfat, dusch och WC). En studie med ett skrivbord

Goult är kanske den minst kända och besökta av de vackraste byarna i Petit Luberon. Kanske för att det är inte riktigt syns på långt håll, som dess mer fotogenisk kusiner, men absolut inte för att det är inte värt att besöka. Det är en liten pärla i en by, med en mycket trevlig atmosfär, en bra kafé på torget, och en "dold" och vackert bevarade gamla stadsdel.

Vackra innergård där vi äta, läsa, svalka, tupplur och umgås. Matbord för 6-8. (Extra bord i källaren) för vatten, äppelträd. Plungepool 3x2,5 meter. 1. 40 meter djup. Gården ligger precis utanför köket på bottenvåningen. Steg LEED upp till en uteplats från första våningen

Första våningen
Stor öppen första våningen. Vardagsrum med utsikt över gatan och kök med stora dubbla dörrar ut till gården. Köksbord stolar 6 (extra matbord kan användas från gården). Modernt kök med diskmaskin och tvättmaskin. Öppen spis i vardagsrummet.

Andra våningen
Tre sovrum. Dubbelrum med ett handfat och utgång på terrassen med utsikt över gården. Enkelrum med en utdragbar extra säng. Sovrum med våningssängar. Badrum med badkar / dusch och toalett.

Tredje våningen
Stora sovrum, studera och badrum med stor dusch och toalett. Stora dubbla fönster med utsikt över gården.

Goult ligger i Luberon. Byn är mindre än 10 minuter från Gordes, Roussillon, slottet Lacoste, Ménerbes och Bonnieux. Cavaillon är 15mn bort (motorväg tillgång), Avignon TGV station (30min), den internationella flygplatsen Marseille / Provence (50mn), St Rémy de Provence (35 min). Ungefär. 1 timme från stränderna och 2,5 timmar från Nice.

We loved the house and garden. The pool was perfect for us. The house stayed reasonably cool despite the temperature being excessive for June. Location was amazing, literally over the road from the cafe and bar, in the centre of the village. Goult is my favourite village in Provance and we will be back again!

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS

5/5⭐️ This property will not disappoint. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Located in a small village on a hillside with beautiful bars, cafes, restaurants & shops. A markato (small supermarket) 1 min walk from the front door, a church, a souvenir shop & more. Roads are a bit scary but the locals are gorgeous. The medieval town is so beautiful and so different from what Aussies are used to, but take the risk, you will not regret it ❤️❤️❤️

Goult getaway

Wonderful property in a great location. Came with friends for a wedding in Bonnieux and this was the perfect spot to stay - close to all the other little, surrounding towns. The Thursday market is literally out your front door and there is a great grocery store just a few doors down, with fresh local produce. It has been a family run business for seven generations. The house is well equipped with everything you need and more. We appreciated Christian’s suggestions for things to do in the area, especially our trip to Les Baux.

Three Days in Provence

Goult has been referred to as an "unsung gem of the Luberon valley." This little town is utterly delightful with a great bakery, butcher shop, several terrific cafes, and a wonderful street market. The townhouse is smack dab in the center of everything, between a restaurant and the grocery store, across the street from the butcher, and, on market days, the front door leads right into the middle of all the activity. If I had to describe an ideal place to experience authentic Provence, I could not imagine doing any better than describing this place. I would happily stay here for a week or more simply soaking up the ambience.

We rent this property practically every year. Great house in a lovely village. Love this place. Very unsatisfied with Abritel as we encountered problems with our account which after many calls were never solved and never once did we receive any apologies or explanations. Customer service 0. Unacceptable.

Great Location

We stayed at this property for one week. We were six adults in Goult for a wedding. The property is very large so there was more than enough space for all of us. Some of our party enjoyed seeing the items left around the house that belonged to the owner. Others did not like to see (what appeared to be) the owners belongings everywhere. It depends if the visitor likes that homey feel or not. Kitchen was in good working order and we enjoyed the plunge pool. It is a very quiet location and parking is about four doors away.

Poor communication ruined our visit

We decided that this house was so nice, it would be worth spending more than our budget and driving 4 hours to stay there. But we never got to, because two days before our stay, with no communication from the agent, I texted a number supplied by VRBO as the contact number and had a text exchange with a person who said that the property was not his! We called VRBO, and ultimately the VRBO rep told us we were entitled to a refund and should book another property. So we did. We eventually got the checkin info, at 3pm on day of arrival. Too little too late. Now VRBO is denying the refund, saying that 1 hour before checkin is adequate. So my beef if mainly with VRBO, but it could have been avoided with a simple message a few days ahead of time along the lines of "If I can't meet you personally, the keys will be at the bar across the street." Thanks for nothing, Mr. Linke.

Perfect Village But Disappointing House/Host

Goult is just as described - charming and not too touristy with some good restaurants The house is spacious and well located with parking nearby. It was renovated 20 years ago and is now in need of a re-do. We are collectors ourselves but the mish mash of second hand "finds" verges on clutter. Kitchen filled with lots of "things" but short on necessities like a good set of pots and pans. Drawers and cupboards a mess. Metal door from kitchen to patio often impossible to open so we could only access patio via the second floor bedroom outside stairs. Patio area unkempt looking. Same for the top floor bedroom/study. Bed linens/pillows shabby and the portable metal rack for hangers and open shelves for towels and sheets does not make for an attractive/pleasant master suite. A newer sofa in the room almost looks out of place alongside all the other dilapidated furniture. The second floor bedrooms are in better condition. Some re-organization and attention to detail could improve all of this. .As for the premier host - after no response to emails inquiring about check in, we called to give an estimated arrival of 4-5PM It was agreed that we call on arrival day once we collected our rental car. We did call twice and left a message, arriving just before 5 PM with no one there. More calls and Christian eventually answered saying the cleaner was supposed to meet us but he would contact her regarding whereabouts of the keys. A few minutes later another call telling us the keys were behind some shutters near the front door! We inquired about instructions for the house - appliances, heating, what to do about garbage, checkout procedure,.etc. and were told "nobody asks about instructions". Turns out garbage is taken down the street, the heating thermostat was on a wall behind a mirror and so on. We were 2 people staying in a house that can accommodate 8 and were also leaving a day earlier than we'd paid for but were told there would be an extra charge if we turned the thermostat above 20 (fine but heat is listed on web page). Christian photographed the meter to monitor this, apparently not factoring in the lower use of hot water, lights, dishwasher, washing machine as well as sheets and towels for 2 vs 8 people..Oddly, the heat for the plunge pool was on all week (not by us). After picture taking of the heat meter we never saw him again. He was busy as a guide for a local tour group. There are better options out there if you look!

Thank you, Margaret, for taking the time to write this review. We truly appreciate your feedback and are very sorry to hear your stay at La Clarté fell short of expectations. Several of your comments are important feedback to us. A good idea to write up an information page about the trash and the heat. And we have already made plans to fix the metal patio door. We will also go through the linens. Although this comes as a surprise to us because it has been an important issue for the owners to have nice quality, all-natural cotton and linen materials and real down duvets and pillows. Your comments about dilapidated furniture and second-hand finds is more of a personal taste issue. The owner works in the design industry, has made specific choices and been inspired from the wonderful vintage markets in the area. We often receive positive feedback about many of the things you did not appreciate. The photos on the page show the style so that it is not a surprise. With respect to many of your other comments it is important to remember that this is a family vacation home and not the 5-star hotel standard that you several times referred to in our conversations as the standard you were used to. Most of our guests appreciate the Provencal village ambiance of the house. I am also sorry you were not happy with the arrival. We experienced this very differently from your description. But we did register that this was not satisfactory for you, and we are sorry our many efforts to be responsive to your requests were not sufficient. Once again thank you for your feedback. It will make us better!

Very relaxing week

We had a very nice week in Goult. The house is very spacious and offers all comfort needed including a great pool to relax. Unfortunately the internet access was not stable and not existing at ground floor. In case that's important, it should be checked whether its improved.

Toll ausgestattete , geschmackvoll eingerichtete, zentral gelegene Wohnung

Wir haben die Zeit in der Wohnung extrem genossen. Die Ausstattung, u.a. die Möblierung, die sanitären Einrichtungen und die Küche sind top. Der Innenhof mit Pool und der hochwertigen Beleuchtung sind richtig klasse. Die zentrale Lage in Goult mit div. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants runden den sehr guten Eindruck und das positive Urlaubsgefühl ab. Für uns war das eine der besten Unterkünfte, die wir erleben durften.

Hate to share this gem

Fantastic place. Easy to get to. Good Beds. Fully furnished. Nice dip pool. Heated if needed. Good restaurants in town. Great Provencal stores and shops in town. It was not recommended for infants and there is no crib, but we made do and there was plenty of space when people needed it.

Mitten im provenzialischem Leben

Das süsse Haus ist mitten im Ortszentrum von Goult. Gegenüber sind die beiden Treffpunkte wo sich das Leben des Ortes abspielt. Das Haus ist renoviert, zweckmässig und nett eingerichtet. Die Zimmer in den Innenhof sind ruhig- zur Strasse hin ist es Abend eher lauter. Der Pool im Innenhof ist super zum abkühlen und planschen. Generell ist die Ausstattung zum kochen sehr gut - alles vorhanden inkl. Wasch- und Spülmaschine. Super bequeme Betten und Kissen- in genügender Anzahl. Der Ort selber liegt im Luberon zentral und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen- schöne und interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Übergabe mit dem Vermieter war super unkompliziert und es hat alles sehr gut funktioniert.

Super village et superbe maison.

Tres bel accueil chaleureux de Christian qui est très réactif. Une maison confortable, de l'espace pour s'y retrouver à 7. La vaisselle et l'équipement sont conséquents avec une belle déco à l'image de la maison de caractère et du village. Nous avons profité pleinement de la vie de village et des commerçants autour qui sont très accueillants. Nous sommes à proximité de tous les villages à visiter. Un lieu qu'on aimerait tenir secret pour y revenir et la possibilité de trouver une date à notre convenance. Un seul petit regret la pompe du bassin est tombée en panne au bout de 4 jours et donc pas la possibilité de chauffer l'eau qui était un peu froide pour se baigner.

Beyond perfect

This house is perfect. We stayed for 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute. The house has everything you could possibly want and is comfortable and stylish great bedrooms and a lovely open plan sitting room kitchen area leading out to small private patio garden with plunge pool, table to eat at and fabulous antiques day bed. Lots of options of places to be all together or apart. The house is situated right in the heart of Goult one of the nicest villages in the Luberon, quiet and beautiful but with everything you could need. The butcher, epicerie, boulangerie are a few steps away along with places to eat or have a coffee or a drink and watch the world go by. It is also next door is the most beautiful antique shop in the world Gatti. Despite being in the centre of the village the house is quiet, private and spacious. Mooi verblijf in Goult!

Het was een fijne ervaring om in een stadje te verblijven tussen de locals. De woning is van alles voorzien en stijlvol ingericht met een master bedroom die uitkijkt op de Luberon. Ook het tuintje met klein zwembad was een verwennerij op deze warme dagen. Het enige dat tekort schoot was de internetverbinding, maar voor de rest een heerlijk verblijf gehad. We hebben genoten.
