Perfect relaxing stay

Huan’s gorgeous house is the perfect place to relax with so many spaces to curl up with a book. The kitchen and BBQ provides all you need to do some cooking. The view from the outdoor area makes you feel like you’re away from everything. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Amazing

What an incredible property. Architect designed with a lovely flow and relaxed feel and tremendous history. We had a great family short break in a beautiful area. The house has all that you need and for anyone who appreciates design, this will please and enchant. The fridge was stocked with just the right goodies to please the whole family and was really appreciated after a long trip. The owner is a delight to correspond with - couldn't recommend a better place to stay. We will be back in the future.

Beautiful house in the treetops

Our family stayed at Eliza 125 for the recent Easter weekend and had a wonderful, relaxing holiday. We made use of the beautiful deck and BBQ and enjoyed our many walks down to the beach. We were also lucky enough to be in town for the local Farmers market and spent an afternoon in near by Mornington. Perfect holiday destination!

Wonderful space

Had a lovely tranquil stay at Eliza125. The property is beautifully designed, with plenty of light in all of its generous living spaces. Interior furnishings are great - modern appliances set against retro furniture pieces supply a lot of character. Less than 5 minutes drive to Mt Eliza shopping village and 10 minute walk to the beach.

Beautiful Getaway

We had a beautiful weekend stay here. The house is beautifully designed / furnished and very well maintained by the owners. We only stayed for a weekend but it is well facilitated, and we'd easily consider a longer restful break here! The highlight is the deck which opens out to the back - the most incredible surprise. Communication was easy also. We will definitely be back during the summer!

Totally Perfect Weekender

If you love modernist design then this house is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience a home from one of Australia's great architects, Kevin Borland. It has been beautifully restored and maintained with all modern amenities, yet still retains its original character. The home has an amazingly comfortable and inviting feeling to it. And the deck is incredible. It is clean and well kept and everything was very easy to arrange and manage. We certainly plan to come back here in the future.

We stayed at this beautiful Kevin Borland designed property for 2 weeks, and it was hard to leave.

We stayed at this beautiful Kevin Borland designed property for 2 weeks, and it was hard to leave. The setting is perfect, just up the road from some of Melbourne's best beaches, minutes from Mount Eliza village, and in a quiet street with a creek backdrop. The house itself is light filled and full of interesting design features, and the rear balcony has many visitors, including lorikeets and possums.

I was not sure what to expect when we turned into what looked like a suburban street in Mt Eliza. This is a unique property, a perfect blend of 60's architectural charm and modern fittings. The home is on two levels, and each level has its own deck overlooking a native bushland reserve. It is the upper deck which was particularly stunning. you feel very removed from your neighbours. The rainbow lorikeets were regular visitors to the seed bowl resting on the deck.The owners installed modern stainless steel appliances within the original 60's kitchen cupboards. It was wonderful to see the architectural integrity of the house retained. Again, the furniture is a lovely blend of old and new. The house is close to the beach (although not walking distance with children). Mt Eliza village is also a couple of minutes away by car. I would highly recommend this property to any couple or family. My young girls loved exploring the house and the owners added some lovely Christmas touches to the house (and Christmas treats in the fridge) on our arrival.
