Not fantastic, but nice. Very good location.

The condo was great. Not over-the-top luxury, but we weren't expecting that—very much as advertised. Enjoyed being so close to the beach. Ended up only driving once the entire week, otherwise we just walked to Coligny Circle. Plenty of shops and restaurants. We had several outstanding dinners during our stay.

Had a good time

Hello - we very much love the location and the property. Couple of thoughts - Unit 3 probably could use a refurbish, as it appears to be showing its age. We had trouble getting the sliding door open and closed. However it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. As far as the property, would prefer if the landscape guys didn't start running equipment so early (several mornings at 7AM). Maybe start just a little later since folks are on vacation? Looking forward to our next stay!

First timer in Hilton Head

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great, very close to the beach and also to the shops in town for dining, grabbing groceries, ice cream and shopping. The layout of the condo could have been better. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were upstairs. The property was clean but needs some maintenance. Slider to the porch needs to be replaced, master bath sink drains slow, and knob on the tub falls off.

Easy and relaxing

We enjoyed the patio in the morning and evening and the pool (right outside our door) is partly shaded which was wonderful for middle of the day heat. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach, where we spent hours enjoying the ocean. The host gave access to a wagon with beach chairs and other water toys. Not far from Coligny Plaza, riding a bike or walking to shops or restaurants was convenient. The host has made this rental comfortable and the details for our stay were perfect.

Amazing location!

You simply can’t beat this location - pool right off the patio and the beach a few steps away. House was clean and well laid out for a family. There wasn’t any information regarding rules of the community which would have been helpful as we were notified after the fact that you couldn’t leave your towel on your chair on the deck etc. The check in process was simple, the pool was heated as described, and like I said, the location was the best! Would definitely stay here again.

Cute/Efficient Condo

Loved the location and setup. Perfect for all ages. Only thing I would change is have at least a half bath downstairs and a way to get in from the sliding glass door on the pool side. Would definitely stay here again!

Could Improve

Master Bedroom has no A/C, had it looked at while we stayed and it still didn’t work. The people that cleaned before we arrived, reversed the drawer in the freezer, by the time we noticed the door wasn’t shutting all our stuff was ruined. Cleanliness was an issue when we arrived, Management did correct the issues promptly just frustrating that we had to spend 2 of our 4 days calling management to deal with it.

3 Ocean Club Villa

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location...however the cleaning service did a very poor job. They are doing a disservice to the owners for sure. I don’t believe they ever wiped off the counters... Or even clean the floors. There were no linens for the fold out sofa bed the kitchen sink was filthy. I did have to clean prior to us using the facility... But once we were moved in, we had a fantastic vacation. I have to say that the mattresses in both bedrooms were very comfy that’s important the master bedroom was warm, compared to the rest of the house.

Everything I could have wanted!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ocean Club 3 was perfect for our family! Great location, clean, easy access. The central air could easily freeze you out! Which was a bonus to us because last years vacation (in a different complex) left us with no a/c for 2 days in July! Ocean Club 3 was stocked well and roomy! We had zero issues with mosquitos throughout the complex! Maybe just a suggestion is a smaller patio set or extending the Brick patio. By one to two rows. We were constantly moving chairs around to go from pool to condo. But that is not a deal breaker!

Beach and beyond....

The condo is nice, clean and perfecly located to the beach, restaurants and shopping centre. Though it was clean it has to be mentioned that it is an old apartment. Both bedrooms had no ACs. In the night before our departure they closed the internet for our devices - that was unexpected! At 10am the cleaning lady stepped inside and I told her we need another 30 minutes to leave. She was not happy. Then we rushed getting our stuff together and unfortunatly we left a bag with all our chargers (phones, watches, laptops). I called the office and noone ever answered. We were really disappointed.

Newly renovated townhome with a beautiful kitchen!

However, there was a strong smell that did not go away (similar to a mix of bug spray and wet dogs) on the first floor. In addition, you could see that the property hadn't been fully cleaned. There was dog hair hanging off of the bottom of the couches.

3 Ocean Club Villa - Unit 3 Review

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely loved the location of this Villa. And would love to rent in 3 Ocean Club Villa again. We loved the people who either own or rent in this complex. However, not sure if I would rent unit 3 again especially since they are now asking $1,000 USD more per month. There are serious maintenance issues with this unit that the owners should take care of immediately.1. Furnace is disgusting. It has not been maintained or serviced in years. Thanks goodness we did not need any heat or air conditioning. 2. Mold around all the main floor registers. 3. Mold around the bathtub (not ensuite). The mold was dripping onto the floor mat.4. Plumbing for both bathtubs need to be replaced. We had to call maintenance as one of the taps fell off. Hot/Cold are reversed in one of the bathtubs. We also asked for bath mats. The steel tubs are extremely slippery. 5. We had to call the cleaners to come back and vacuum the couch. Covered in dog hair. The living room rug and throw pillows were covered in dog hair. The 2nd bedroom where there are two beds, under the beds was a carpet of dog hair. (didn't notice until last day) And I would find fluffs of dog hair throughout the unit. 6. Fridge needs servicing or replaced. Freezer made ice but turned into a huge block of ice. Water is dripping in the fridge and freezing on food items.7. Sliding screen door needs repair or replaced. Constantly coming off the track. Difficult to open or close. I have photos of all these issues.
