Comfortable cottage

We stayed here for a family wedding and was only 6 minute drive to the wedding venue at Merricks Store. However we had 4 families staying here with 2 small bathrooms (advertised 3 bathrooms )so made it tricky to get everyone ready for wedding at same time. Otherwise a comfortable cottage to stay .

Great Service

I altered booking several times leading up to our stay and the host Ann was very accommodating. We were a group of 5 adulrts and enjoyed our stay.

Cozy winter stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this welcoming cottage with its tranquil grounds, choice of many bedrooms and wood heater which kept us warm all night. Hosts Ann and Juergen are very hospitable. Highly recommended accommodation. Richard and Helen, Eltham, Victoria.

A peaceful, beautiful and spacious property hosted by a kind family.

A truly wonderful stay in a beautiful and spacious cottage with many living areas for families to spread across. New heaters, aircon and anything you can think of is provided. Beautiful gardens to unwind in as well as plenty of room for cars etc. The hosts are excellent with communication and answered any questions we had. We had our dog with us, she was welcomed warmly and happily allowed at the cottage. Thanks Ann. 😊

Beautiful location

This is a lovely place to stay - the location and the house. The rooms are very comfortable and the garden is a wonderful playground for small children. Close to beautiful beaches and pretty small towns. The home owner is next door and helpful. The listed stereo was not present and despite following instructions we could not get the dishwasher to work (small problems). We would definitely return.

What a wonderful place?

This place is absolutely fantastic, pictures don't make it justice. The house was super comfortable and clean, with all that we needed and our 8yo absolutely loved feeding the horses and enjoyed watching the cows. We had a blast and our hosts, Ann & Jurgen were amazing. Definitely recommend, great location and beautiful space.

Tucked Away And Private

Our family stayed for two nights, we found the lovely gardens and the friendly horses outside. Inside was clean and very spacious with everything we needed. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Peaceful and comfortable

Highly recommend the cottage for those looking to get away whilst being close to wineries, restaurants and breweries. Juergen and Ann were welcoming, fantastic and very helpful with things like firewood, kindling etc. Property was a good size and clean with great views from most the bedrooms. We will be returning. Cosy comfortable cottage

Had a very enjoyable prolonged stay at the cottage in the beautiful surroundings of the property. Very comfortable living areas and bedrooms and our dogs loved the huge spaces outside . Ann the owner was very friendly and helpful with any request. Fabulous for large family stays too. also great outdoor space for our dogs.

Perfect weekender

Our hosts were very hospitable and helpful! The check in process was seamless. The property had a great layout and was perfect for our group of 6. All amenities were clean and tidy and accessibility was fantastic from the road. Would definitely recommend to others!

Merrick North retreat

We had a very enjoyable stay. The spacious relaxed feel of the property was just what we needed. Loved the horses and surrounds. I was also able get some training rides to Arthur's Seat and back via Red Hill. Plenty of hills for challenging rides. Our 2 dogs loved the space and meeting the horses and going for walks on the beach. Flinders dog Beach was a great find.

A Lovely Place to Escape

Overall very pleased with the property, having essentially two living areas made it ideal for our visit with grandparents and our family. The horses in the paddock were a highlight for our kids, good location with 15 mins drive to most activities we did. Would stay again.

Beautiful cottage with lovely view and garden

It's a spacious house. Clean and tidy. Ann and Jurgen are kind and welcoming. The house has everything we needed. Lots of cups and plates. The shops are nearby. Great cafes and restaurants all around to enjoy. Phone reception not the strongest. But we didn't have much issue with it. There's good internet available in the house.

Extremely spacious with a cosy feel

We were very impressed with our stay! The cottage was quiet and spacious and made for the perfect getaway. There was more than enough room for 4 couples to comfortably stay and was close to some great wineries. We will definitely be staying again!

Pre-Christmas Mini Vacation

Large house to suit multiple couples. Great spaces for relaxing including garden with outdoor table and BBQ. We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend.
