Lone Pine Homestead ligger strax utanför staden Mudgee på en historisk 2000 hektar stor lantgård med enastående utsikt över landet. Du kommer att ha exklusiv användning av denna unika egendom under hela vistelsen.

Lone Pine Farm House kan bekvämt rymma upp till elva vuxna i fyra sovrum med två badrum. Med generösa utspridda rum, breda verandaer, solskyddade krokar och rikliga grunder. Det finns gott om utrymme att komma ihop eller hitta ett privat utrymme att curl upp med en bok från det omfattande biblioteket. Låt barnen springa vild, det finns gott om utrymme och ingen att störa!

Huset har 4 stora sovrum och det sover 11 personer bekvämt med möjlighet att göra ytterligare 2 enkelsängar på begäran (tillåter 13). Öppen planlösning kök / matsal intill ett mysigt vardagsrum med vedeldad spis. Utanför köket finns ett solrum där du kan njuta av utsikten ner till Meroo Creek över lägenheterna. Bredvid detta är en rumpus / spelrum. Köket öppnar sig på en omslag runt verandan. Lata runt och titta på känguruerna från hängmatta eller indisk dagssäng för att fånga solen. Att äta under stjärnorna är den bästa platsen vid den öppna spisen och tittar över fruktträdgården. Njut av några vackra promenader genom orörd inhemsk natur. Mudgee Region erbjuder så mycket att göra - njut av vin, mat, honung, besök marknader, gallerier, antikaffärer, boutique bryggerier, fossicking, listan fortsätter ......

Country oasis

From the moment we drove on to the property we felt relaxed. The scenery was beautiful and the house and all it offered met our expectations. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing break.

Great getaway

Our group of 7 very much enjoyed our stay at the Lone Pine Homestead. It was great to be in the company of cows and sheep and the amazing night skies.

Great weekend in the country

Property was really comfortable for 2 families and you can do as much or as little as you like. About 30 minutes into Mudgee which is also a great place for a visit

Lovely Country Home

A beautiful country stay around 30 minutes drive from Mudgee town. Far away enough away from town that you can enjoy the rural surrounds. The farm was magic. The kids loved walking around the property. It was freezing outside but lovely and toasty with the AC and fire. A stay we will remember fondly.

Amazing peaceful cosy house !

We enjoyed a 3 night stay here over Easter with friends, the property is perfect for a group of people and has a lot of space so you never feel on top of each other. The kitchen is big and very well equipped with a stocked pantry full of condiments. The house is very clean and cosy, the fire was great and kept us warm at night. All the bedrooms were very comfortable and quiet. The house is a little of the beaten track which we loved and there was lots of land to walk our dogs around. There is plenty of dining space and the lounge area is huge so we always felt as if there was more than enough space for our group to be comfortable. would recommend!!

Lovely spot, but badly managed

We turned up and the cleaner was there. She was very apologetic and said that her partner was sick. No problem, things happen. However, the veranda was filthy, there was not a stitch of timber ready for us so one of the girls was out the back chopping wood, the fireplace was dirty with an overflowing bucket of ash next to it. We actually spent the first 30 minutes cleaning. None of the lamps worked, one of us had to climb up to change the bulb in the bathroom because we were in the dark. On the second night we were in the middle of cooking some curries and the gas stove igniters keep clicking on ALL the rings. We could not stop it. We had to turn the power off to the kitchen, run around finding an extention cord to keep the fridge going. In all these things happen, and we sorted it, but the thing that makes me write this poor review is the new managers could not care less. He said he would contact the owner in Scotland and see if we can get a partial refund - and apparently she couldnt care less either. On reading the compendium, we saw recent complaints about the state of the house and management too, but im sure that will no longer be there. Our ladies group have been renting through stayz for years and this is the most disappointing stay to date.

Fabulous Weekend Away

Booked this Property for my 50th with a group of Friends. It was a bit of an adventure getting to the Property! Once we found it, the drive down to the house itself was an adventure! It was pouring Rain so that didn't help much, but the road is rough! Your definitely need a 4wd to get down the driveway. Once we arrived at the house though it was perfect! Fireplace which was great as it was cool,everything about the house was perfect. Bedrooms were very cosy. Lots of firewood for the house fire & the outside firepit. Nice veranda on which to sit and eat breakfast looking over the mountains. We went walking to the river. had a great meal outside watching the sun set on the mountains. It was a great stay!

Great Farm Stay.!

This was a great house for a large group, we felt like we were at home. The house was clean and inviting, the drive to the house was very scenic and only took about 20 minutes from Mudgee to get too. All facilities were in working and good order, would definitely stay here again.

Too goo to be true

What an amazing place to stay! i didn't want to write a review because i didn't want more people to find out about this little gem. Everything about this property is beautiful and spot on. Far enough away from the hustle a bustle to feel like you are really getting a break, yet close enough to make day trips to the wineries in Mudgee. Plenty of room and space for our group of 8 people, Yet so lovely to all sit around the fire both inside and outside and enjoy a good chat and the beautiful bottles of wine left for us by the owners. What a great weekend getaway.

A beautiful backdrop for a family get together!

Lone Pine Homestead was a home away from home - our family came from all over the state to stay for the long weekend and enjoyed the open fire, crisp country air and country scenery! Close enough to town with a sense of isolation. We loved our stay and will be back for sure!

How Relaxing is this!

If you want peace and quite this is the place to go. It was wonderful to be able to take our pets so that all the family could go, 9 of us all together. There was plenty of room to spread out and not be on top of each other. Also loved that there was no mobile phone coverage so we were able to bond together as a family with out the every day city life interruptions. If you like making fresh scones and cakes for afternoon tea the kitchen has most things you need to cook with. It was lovely to sit out on the back verandah in the beautiful serenity of the country having a cuppa and eating scones. I would recommend it for a great get away from city life.

Perfect country getaway

This is our 2nd year staying at Lone Pine. We have 10 people staying, plenty of room, place has a lovely homely feel to it. There are views from every room. We picnic on the back paddock glasses of local white wine and a cheese platter watching the dusk arrive in and watching the long driveway waiting for the rest of the family to turn up. Mornings are on the front porch having breakfast under the wisteria eating figs we picked off the fig tree. We had 3 month old baby, 2 year old, teenagers and adults - a great place for the family to share their time. Once you become familiar with the road in and out of the property it was not an issue getting into Mudgee and onto Gulgong for a step back into the 1800's and their fantastic antique shops. Highly recommend this property

Beautiful spot

We loved our stay at Lone Pine, which is a spacious, well equipped and comfortable property. We took bikes and had a great time exploring the farmland, returning to relax, play pool, eat dinner then drink wine and toast marshmallows round the fire. Highly recommended

Amazing!

We stayed at Lone Pine this August and what a treat it was (8 adults and 4 little ones). The house is very welcoming, well equipped, clean and tidy - it really does feel very homely (our bed was very comfy too with a fab electric blanket!) . There are lots of different areas to relax which we loved. As a large group over a long weekend, it can sometime feel like you are all on top of each other - but not a Lone Pine. With a number of different seating areas (inside and out), the kids could be in one space, someone else having a snooze in another, and others drinking wine on the veranda! Lots of explore, lovely walks in the hills with bouncing kangaroos at dusk. The house was warm with a fantastic fireplace that heats the whole house very efficiently. It is a little way out of town, but day trips to the wineries were easy, you'd just need to plan for the day ahead as it's not a case of nipping back and forth into Mudgee. We loved the escape - fresh air, beautiful surroundings and a real break from the day to day. I would highly recommend Lone Pine (and the Mudgee region), it's worth the trip and perfect for a long weekend getaway.

Perfect Girls Weekend Away

We had such a lovely time at Lone Pine Homestead. The house was clean and had a homely and cosy feel about it. We could have done with extra toilet in the house but we manage through the weekend. Our highlight was definitely the Friday night in. Private Wine tasting by the fire followed by Intimate 3 course Dinner by Chef Janelle Bull. We were completely indulged as we caught up with mums we met from our children's primary school and now in high school. It was great to share tips and laughs on bringing up teenage children. We highly recommend Lone Pine Homestead if you need to shut down from the rest of the world. I mean no wifi and no phone reception. The house does have a land line for emergency calls. I am definitely coming back with my teenage children.

Great place to stay!!

We had an amazing weekend staying at Lone Pine, the house is extremely tidy and spacious, two bathrooms was very handy with the five of us. very cosy with the fireplace and plenty of room outside for our dogs to run around! The kitchen is very well equipped with all utensils for bbq or cooking inside. The property is only a short distance from town and an easy drive. Very well maintained and the perfect place to stay for a relaxing weekend away in beautiful Mudgee.

The best of the country

Six close friends and I stayed for a long weekend at this very comfortable, well appointed home. We had a superb time together cooking, relaxing by the log fire, walking and exploring the lovely surrounds; sleeping in tranquility, enjoying a hearty country breakfast, group activities such as visiting the local wineries, finishing the day with pleasurable dinners complemented by local wines, and much more. This superb country home allowed us to enjoy precious time together and has created wonderful memories. There should be more of it.

Great place to stay

The place is great if your looking to get away from it all and relax. Had a week of fun with the family where we could spend some time living the simple life. The pool table was especially fun. The whole setup of the house was very inviting and we all enjoyed our stay.

A super relaxed weekend at a delightful homestead

The lone pine homestead exceeded our expectation. A quaint house decorated very thoughtfully with the curios and paintings, delightful fruit and veggie patch just outside the house, lovely barbeque set up and thoughtfully designed couple of living and dining areas made a lot of difference to our group of 4 couples to be together and have our own personal space for the 3 night stay we had there. The kitchen was very well stacked with pots and pans for all requirements of cooking (including baking) and the library and game room was superb for keeping the kids and us comfortably entertained. The beds were very comfortable too and it was nice to have a mix of modern and contemporary furniture in the same house (the hammock deserve a special mention here). The interactions with the owners and manager was very pleasant and we highly recommend the place to anyone who is looking for a nice country side experience with a modern set up.
