Välkommen till La Mont Vue

Ligger vid Alpine Ridge mellan Merrijig och Sawmill Settlement vid basen av Mt Buller och bara 3 minuters bilresa från ingången till Mt Buller och Mt Stirling.

Perfekt boende för familjer eller grupper på skidsemester eller bergsflykt utan den enorma prislappen att stanna på berget.

Vi erbjuder en stor öppen planlösning 3 sovrum, 2 badrum hem med spektakulär utsikt över Mount Buller och Mount Stirling på ett stort inbyggt block med gott om öppen plats för barnen.

Säg hej till det lokala djurlivet från vår balkong när kung papegojor, känguru och hjort ofta besöker.

Vår lounge har golvfönster från golv till tak över två sidor så att morgonsolen kan lysa in över matplatsen och öppnar vardagsrummet för fantastisk Mt Buller och omgivande bergsutsikt.

Alla tre sovrummen har antingen drottningar eller dubbelsäng plus ytterligare två våningssängar finns i sovrum 2 och 3. Det finns värme i alla rum och elektriska filtar på alla sängar. Dessutom ingår ett andra badrum och en andra toalett plus ett separat torkrum med gott om plats för alla våta skidutrustningar efter en stor dag i backarna.

Vårt kök har allt du behöver för en avkopplande vistelse inklusive diskmaskin, elektrisk spis och mikrovågsugn plus andra funktioner inkluderar en mycket mysig vedvärmare, uppdelat system värme / luftkonditionering, TV, CD, DVD och tidskrifter för din njutning.

Vi tillhandahåller lite lite extra för dig te, kaffe, socker, salt och peppar. Också vissa skafferi föremål som olja och sås.

Se till att du tar med några marshmallows till eldstaden.

Du kan ha tur och se våra lokala vilda hjortar, de betar vanligtvis på gräset tidigt på morgonen runt 7. 30-8. 00 och igen i skymningen.

La Mont Vue ska avnjutas året runt.

Warm and Cozy

Beautiful House with great views, very warm, snowed while we were staying, native birds and deer visited everyday. Sad that there was no WiFi availability. Unfortunately both myself and my husband slipped down the wet stairs on separate occasions as there are no Safety Strips attached, hoping this will be amended in the future.

Amazing place, amazing host

Susan was a great host and so prompt in her correspondence. Her place is one of the best holiday homes I’ve stayed in and the fire pit was great plus the house has everything you need to relax and enjoy.

Sanctuary with a view

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious house which we booked last minute when our Sydney plans fell through due to Omicron. The host was very helpful and responsive with the last minute booking and even arranged linens for us on short notice. The living space and deck was fantastic with views of Mount Buller and surrounded by lush greens and close to the Delatite river. The scenery was particularly spectacular in the evening with the calming sounds of the Delatite river heard on the deck or crackling of the fire place inside (enjoyed with wine picked up from the Delatite winery). There was more than enough space for the four of us and the very well equipped and spacious kitchen (with Mount Buller views) made it perfect for us to enjoy family time and dinners in the house. The kids loved the two fireplaces and insisted on roasting marshmellows on most nights. We adults appreciated the closeness to some of the great hikes and walks in the region and my husband did some fishing in the mornings just walking down the road. We would definitely stay there again and even extended our stay for a day to make to the most of what the region and house has to offer.

The house was perfectly clean, The heating was good. We had a good time with the outside wood fire place. Only problem was BBQ, which was not clean. Also no wifi internet was also expected We loved the stay

Comfy, Clean and Awesome

We really enjoyed our stay and was spacious for all 10 of us. It was more presentable and cleaner than what's shown in the pictures. However, the BBQ was a let down. It surely needs to be replaced.

Frosty nights by the fire.

We had a really lovely time in Merrijig. The house was warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. We loved the fire as it made things very cosy. The beds were comfortable also. We will certainly consider it again next winter . Thanks

Spacious house near Mount Buller

Lots of space and cosy log fire. Would have been good to have wifi as no data coverage for mobiles and needed to access the skiing resort website. On the other hand great local wildlife with deer, kangaroos and different species of birds spotted near the house. Great restaurant across the road from the house.

Stunning views, perfect location and everything you need in a place to stay.

Stunning views of Mt Buller and perfect location to access the park, whilst still being off the mountain and away from the hustle of the snow. Quick 20-30 minute drive up to parking. The home has everything you need for your stay and is set out perfectly for families and space. Loved the visit from local wildlife too. Thank you

Beautiful, spacious house with a great view

Great weekend getaway, very family friendly! Lots of home entertainment for family (cards, board games, movies, music). Susan has really put in a lot of thought and effort to make her home a very inviting and comfortable place to stay. Gorgeous, spacious home with a stunning view! Serene & beautiful. Treat yourself!

Treat yourself with a visit to La Mont Vue. You will not be disappointed. This home is beautifully maintained and fantastically clean. You will want for nothing as Susan (host) has thought of everything. The home is large and spacious, with the most amazing wrap around deck, hidden from the street, and nestled amongst a cannopy of trees, with a back drop of the mountains which is to die for. You will never tire of looking at the view from the deck, or from the lounge room which has floor to ceiling windows. Wake up to deer in the backyard, or feed the birds from your hand (and yes Susan even supplied bird seeds for this). A totally serene and beautiful location, highly recommended for a peaceful get-away. I wish we could have stayed longer - we will definately be back. Thank you Susan.

Beautiful property!

My friends and I decided to go to Mt Buller for a quick snow trip recently and we stumbled across this little gem! This house absolutely met our expectations and we enjoyed every bit of it. The nature life that visited us every night was so beautiful and the place was super close to the entry gates of Mt Buller which made it so easy to travel to the mountain each day. Fantastic accommodation for a ski trip!

We (2 families with young children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Mont Vue. The property was easy to find, clean with heaps of room. They even had basic essentials in the cupboards. The view is breathtaking and closely located to the Mt Buller resort entry. Susan looked after us with discounted ski hire and the best places to eat. We will stay again in the future.

Cosy house.

We loved our stay. There was 4 adults and 3 children under 10, heaps of space with rooms to spare. Location was 5 mins to the entry to Mt Buller, perfect for day trips up to the ski slopes. Clean and tidy house with everything you need. We will stay again.

Great vacation destination for large groups

Our group of 10 guests thoroughly enjoyed the stay at La Mont Vue. Susan was extremely accommodating and contactable all the way through from the booking process until we checked out. The property was clean, well stocked and sufficiently warm indoors. Scenery and location was also great with entry gates to Mt. Buller only minutes away. Susan has also negotiated value for money deals for ski equipment hire for those who are making a ski trip. We highly recommend this place to groups of any size and will definitely stay again. Best Stay Ever!

I booked this house a few months prior and was planning to go horse riding- however the weather went to extreme heat. However our stay at Mont Vue was perfect. From the vista of Mt Buller to the well appointed rooms, Mont Vue offered everything we needed in comfort of air conditioning. My son loved the feeding the local birds- the fact that the owners even provided for that was outstanding. The location is perfect with a short drive to Mt Buller/Mt Stirling to walk/ride/drive- Mill Inn down the road (the best pasta in Victoria!) we couldn't ask for more-we will be back for sure

Great place to stay!

We recently spent 3 nights at La Mont Vue and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were a party of six adults and it was very spacious and cosy inside. The house is approximately 3-5 min drive to the Mt Buller toll gate (great for skiiers) and a very short walk down the street to the Mill Inn - a very nice restaurant/bar. Would highly recommend La Mont Vue
