Mora was great with communication and getting us whatever we needed. Check-in time says 2:00pm, but she said we couldnât check in till 3pm, so we stayed at Ladera for an hour longer, which we werenât upset about. Sylvia greeted us with a shot glass of rum punch, which was nice. On our last day our driver wasnât picking us up for the Airport till 1:00pm, so they let us keep our luggage in the room while Sylvia started cleaning at 11:00am, so we walked to the seashell restaurant for lunch until 1pm.
Pros:
- the view from the bedroom is amazing!!
- Location is great for walking to Hummingbird beach and then other restaurants in town.
- they didnât have a hairdryer in the room, so they brought us one the next day
- the TV wasnât working, but they fixed it during the day while we were at the beach
Cons:
- the bed was not comfortable, I could feel the springs in the mattress and Iâm a side sleeper, so it was very uncomfortable (hopefully they get a foam topper to make the bed more comfortable)
- the water heater heats up on the roof from a solar panel. There were times I took a cold shower due to it being a rainy cloudy day, so the water didnât get heated.
- there were no umbrellas in our room
So we purchased a red and black one due to the constant rain. We did leave them for the next guests, so we hope you get the chance to use them next.
- the lighting in the bathroom was pretty bad for putting on makeup, use hall mirror by front door
- no full length mirror to check outfits
