The space
The historic building was the residence of William Hoy and it is over
100 years old, now called William Hoy House. The Victorian style
building's still remains with the original Oregan pine floors seeing
mainly at the entrance and kitchen.
Spacious open plan kitchen (with dishwasher), dining and lounge area
with a fireplace and large windows and doors opening out to a spacious,
sunny and private balcony with fantastic views of the iconic Table
Mountain!
One bedroom with comfortable extra length queen bed, also opening out
to the private balcony and views of Table Mountain whilst lying in bed.
Second bedroom with comfortable 3/4 size bed opening out to a balcony
with outdoor seating and bbq/braai facilities.
One modern bathroom with shower over bath.
Guest access
The apartment is on the 1st floor of a small apartment block (of 4
apartments). There is no lift with a flight of stairs up to the 1st
floor. Guests will be given their own set of keys and have the
apartment to themselves.The lounge and bedroom open onto a spacious,
private balcony overlooking Table Mountain.There is an additional front
balcony area which is partially communal, shared with one neighbour
(you can use the one half and they use the other half).
House Rules
Please note that absolutely no partying is permitted at the apartment,
as well as no loud music after 22:00. No smoking is allowed. Not
suitable for children under 12 years old. No pets allowed.
