Det är bara några minuters promenad upp tyst pittoreska Donkin Lane till förstklassiga restauranger, ett konstgalleri och butiker.

Bluefin är modernt och nyligen totalrenoverat. Det har svala breda verandor runt hela hemmet, perfekt för grillplatser och avkopplande utomhus i alla väder.

Utanför är en ren bred kokosnötpalm kantad med 12 km lång strand. Dunk Island ligger bara några minuter från stranden i detta fiske- och båtparadis.

The best beach house

House was lovely & well set up. Beach was absolutely magnificent. There were black cockatoos feeding on the beach almonds. All round verandah is very luxurious. We loved it & can recommend Bluefin House

Perfect location and well maintained.

This was such a lovely stay. A simple house with furniture outside on a deck so you can listen to and see the sea! It’s also a short walk from the shops and restaurants etc. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the slight smell of cigarette (old smell) in one of the bedrooms. We are sensitive to that. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful beachfront home.

We really loved staying at Bluefin House. It was spacious and clean. It made staying with 5 kids so much easier. Just a short walk to the restaurants and shops. We also had the pleasure of seeing horses go past the house with their riders. We will definitely be back again. Thank you! ☺️

Mission Beach

5 Star Location!!! Older property but very nice Property was under new management and had everything we needed but was a little bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the glasses, cups, plates and bbq etc. The cupboards were full of stuff that looked like it had been there for months. 3 fridges but no cupboard space as they were all full and one of the wardrobes was taken up by a ladder, Christmas tree and general junk. The beds are so uncomfortable, we were happy to be moving on after 3 nights. For a property to be under new management I would have expected them to go in and give the place a sort out before we arrived

Close to everything

The house was clean and tidy and strangely had 3 fridges but not a pantry or cupboard to put any groceries in. It was missing a clothes airer which is almost a necessity in this part of North Queensland and also no sealable storage containers to keep the ants out of the food. There was soap powder and dishwasher tablets and good wi fi.

Great house, great location

Only setback was the wifi didn’t connect with the internet which could have been a problem. Reported it, hopefully fixed now. Good aircon in the bedrooms, fans everywhere. Well equipped kitchen, fab beachfront location.

Wonderful position

Unfortunately miscommunication with the real estate agent (they mistyped my email address) led to confusion prior to collecting the keys. The house was unusual with 6 single beds and 1 queen. We were perplexed with this arrangement- not to mention 1 bathroom/toilet. Two queen beds would have suited our family best. The kitchen was very well stocked too.

An oasis away from home

This was the 2nd time we have stayed at Bluefin and it is an absolutely amazing property. Plenty of space for our family of 7! Prime location on the beachfront and offers a fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds as well as aircon, and sunlounge chairs! Perfect place to spend a weekend away with our family!

Beautiful 😍

It was a beautiful and extremely clean house. The only thing we believe it is lacking is an air-conditioning unit in the loungeroom/main area. All in all 4.8/5

Great place

It is spacious and airy so there are plenty of breezes blowing through this house. It's clean and the location is perfect being an easy stroll to the beach or the restaurant precinct. Will definitely stay here again.

Good location

Right on beach close to shops etc. however very plain house with tatty outside furniture and only 1 bathroom .booking process was complicated had to email the real estate , who manage the property withs completed form - Ususlly do it all through the web site .Felt it was a bit rich to have security bond of $400 when there wasn't anything of any value- and it took 10 days to receive the refund . House wasn't that great and booking and refund was complicated
