Cosy cottage

The property was lovely, though we needed to ask for extra bedding as we weren't a couple, which was unclear from the listing. There was also no tea towel, but the host was very friendly and helpful, and brought bedding around immediately and didn't charge us the full rate for the extra - much appreciated. The spa was fantastic! And the bed very comfy.

Comfort and quiet

Secret cottage is just as described. Quiet, clean and comfortable, and an easy walk to the Healesville shops. Well set up and feels spacious. Continental breakfast was very much appreciated. Limited communication with owner as none was needed beyond prompt reply to booking.

The cottage was well appointed, warm, cosy, and the hosts were very accomodating when we required extra bedding and instructions on how to fix the air conditioning unit.

Beautifully presented and well maintained.

The cottage while small was neat and had everything we needed for our stay. We stayed with our 2 daughters and found d there was still plenty of space for us all. It's located near the town centre, but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. Overall it was a beautiful stay.

Midweek getaway

Not the first time we have stayed in this cozy cottage and won’t be the last. Gorgeous location, with so much to see and do. Great communication with owner and a super easy check in, makes getting away a breeze!

We had a nice two night stay. The cottage is just under 10 minute walk to Main Street, it’s a nice walk through park area along bike trail past cricket ground and outdoor pool. Cottage is basic, fine for a short stay though

This place really is divine. It's private yet only a short drive to the town centre, has everything you could need and has such beautiful decor we wanted to go home and decorate our place the same. Great communication with friendly owner. Very highly recommended.

Hidden cottage

Cottage located about 1.5km walk from centre of Healesville. Very quaint French style. Fireplace was great. No wifi available which was advised upfront but would be great addition. Appreciated continental breakfast. Coffee machine would be another good addition. Had to give spa a quick wash out before cleaning but otherwise everything was sparkling and bed very comfy. Accommodated one extra for one night on pull out bed from sofa which was appreciated. Thanks- we’d stay again as Healesville and surrounds wonderful with nearby winery’s (small vineyard short lunch on while we were there which was fun) and four pillars plus red Forrest, fromagerie and loads of walks.

We stayed 2 nights at this property and loved it. The property was kept clean, towels and bedding was included and even had little chocolates left on our towels. The breakfast choices were great! The property was in a great location and was very peaceful. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again. Thank you for our pleasent stay and the extra little touches :)
