Buxton Gardens By the River

Ett vackert land stuga sitter på en 1-tunnland blocket inklusive anlagda trädgårdar, en stor bakgård och uppbackning på den lilla Steavenson River.

Hemmet består av tre sovrum. Befälhavaren är ett stort rum med QS säng, har det andra sovrummet också en QS säng och det tredje rummet har 2 uppsättningar britsar.

Det finns ett stort vardagsrum / vardagsrum / kök och en liten andra vardagsrum. En toalett och dusch. De viktigaste loungen har en stor plasma-TV, DVD och digital set-top-box. Den andra loungen har en stor LCD-TV redo att ansluta till en BYO XBOX eller PS4 etc.

Huset är utrustad med moderna, australiensiska kolonialstil möbler och det finns en Coonara trä värmare för vintern och förångades kylning för sommaren plus en omvänd cykel a-c enhet i vardagsrummet.

Den främre trädgården finns välskötta trädgård och ökade sängar kärleksfullt underhållna. I trädgården är främst gräsmatta och vackra skuggande träd och ryggen till Little Steavenson floden, bara 20 meter från bakdörren. Också utomhus är ett däck med grill, och ett stort utomhus matbord. Observera att det inte finns någon fäktning skyddar små barn från floden.

Tvärs över vägen är en stor familj park som innehåller BBQs, gungor, skridsko ramp, en cykel spår, tennisbanor och basketringar samt gott om utrymme att springa runt eller sparka footy.

Buxton är ca 30 minuter från Healesville, över Svarta Spur. Marysville och Lake Mountain ligger 10 minuter bort och Lake Eildon ungefär en halvtimme.

Tranquil stay with adventure close by

Peaceful and comfortable property. Plenty of room for the kids to run around and adults to chill. Stream and fire pit out back were great. So close to Buxton MTB park for cycling and Marysville for hiking. Local pub within walking distance. Highly recommend!

Relaxing stay

Great property in a terrific location. The house was spotless and had everything you need. So relaxing to sit by the river in peace and quiet. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back again. Only 10 mins from Marysville

Perfect

An amazing property to spend a weekend away with family. We spent the days at Lake Mountain ski'ing and enjoying the snow and the nights by the fireplace. Recharged for the week ahead!

Just lovely

As we have regular visitors from the UK, we like to show them other places around our beautiful state of Victoria. We chose this property for its proximity to Marysville and its interesting features, plus the suitability of a 3 bedroom house. The grounds are spectacular and well kept with a delightful creek winding past the back garden. Our visitors were very impressed with it too.

Old boys getaway

We have worked together for more than 18yrs and try to get away for a weekend once or twice a year. Since we have retired we can take the opportunity for a midweek escape. We found our accommodation to to be very clean and comfortable. Set in a beautiful local, with well maintained grounds and backing on to a beautiful stream. We loved our stay and would be happy to go back again.

Absolutely Lovely Stay

Family Holiday (2 x teenagers). Absolutely loved the property, lovely house very clean, spacious and well equipped, Good cooling, great BBQ, great Kitchen. Perfection in every way

Our weekend away was perfect. House is beautiful, clean and comes with everything we needed. Comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen and the kids had a great time exploring the lovely gardens and playing near the river. Nights reclining by the fire were so relaxing after a big day at the snow. David was a great host and a must have is a Buxton burger when in town. Will definitely be back here again next winter!

Another wonderful time in Buxton

This was our second trip to Buxton. The first time we came was only for a few days so we felt the need to come back for a week, and were so glad we did. It really is a wonderful property and the river in the backyard is just amazing. Like last time we stayed, the house was spotless and well appointed. Plenty of firewood for the wood heater and the house was always toasty warm. David is a great guy and very easy to communicate with. Nothing was a bother and he is a pleasure to deal with. Have already booked our next trip to Buxton!

A little piece of paradise

My wife and our three kids stayed at Buxton Gardens by the river for 5 days in January this year. We were blown away by the property in so many ways. The river at the bottom of the garden is an absolute highlight and we spent many hours sitting on the bank with a beer enjoying the sound of the water. The house is spotless and has everything you will need, and the gardens are just spectacular. Lots of room for the kids to ride their bikes or kick the footy. The playground across the road is a bonus and the trout farm is a short walk away. We have already booked our next trip. Just sensational. Thank you David.

Picture perfect location.

We spent Christmas Day eating and drinking outside under a weeping willow beside a babbling brook. Does it get any better? The grounds of this property are divine. The house is much larger than expected (photos don’t do it justice at all) and although it’s an older house with older style furnishings it was perfect for what we needed. Super comfy beds and it was equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. Great communication with David on Christmas Eve when we couldn’t get the TVs to work. Highly recommend.

The river in the backyard is 20m from the back door and has plenty of fish, yabbies, crays, ducks etc. There are birds everywhere, a bower-bird nest in the front garden and 1 acre of very well maintained gardens to browse around with that same cold drink (or maybe the next one)
