Nice and convenient

We enjoyed our family trip at this house. It was clean and we appreciated the milk & bagels provided by the host. Close to restaurants & shops in the Gig Harbor area, but secluded enough that you feel like you’re in the forest.

Always great

We love staying here. Great house, perfect location. Once again hosted a holiday meal, house had everything we needed, including the Christmas tree and decorations. We'll be back.

Just lovely

Our stay here was simply lovely! One of the nicest rentals I’ve stayed at (we travel often). The check in/out process was a breeze. The accommodations were perfect and felt just like home. I honestly can’t think of anything that would have made our visit better. It’s peaceful and in a great location and was extremely clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Super comfortable!

Felt like home. Very clean, very comfortable beds and seating. Beautiful landscaping, quiet neighborhood. A great back deck, and every possible kitchen appliance and tool, with many spices, oils, staples. We were there to visit grandbabies close by, and will definitely use this option again!

Holidays on Puget Sound

This is a lovely home in a quiet area. Spacious with two sitting areas and a large kitchen with adjacent dining table. It sits well up from the road so it is very peaceful. Has everything you need really. It’s away from town, but there is a nice grocery store nearby and some restaurants around as well. Nice place!

A gem in the forest

We stayed for 4 days here while visiting with cousins from across the country and Canada. A perfect retreat with all the amenities you could ask for. We will definitely stay here again. One side note, we couldn’t find a cheese grater if there was one. Otherwise 5 stars.

Easy, convenient, and comfortable!

Beautiful home for us to use as a base when visiting our son's family nearby. Even comfortable for my 87-yr old mom to join us - only three steps at the front door, and both bedrooms have bathrooms handy. Such a quiet, pretty landscaped neighborhood, too. Every kitchen convenience was available, too. This was our second time in this rental and we hope to continue using it when we visit Gig Harbor.

Great House

Stayed over Thanksgiving across the road from my son and his family. My two younger kids and I stayed in this home. Only 2 bedrooms but I brought a portable bed from home and set it up in the living room. House surrounded by trees so complete privacy. Kitchen large and has everything I needed to prep my contributions to Thanksgiving dinner. Great family room with large tv, cable service, Netflix, etc. Ideal for us, even in very wet weather. If it was available for Christmas we'd be going back again in a couple weeks!

Comfort and charm

We stayed here for the second time and everything was equally delightful. Comfortable seating in living and family rooms allow for visiting, games and relaxation. The back patio features additional seating in a woodland setting with expansive lawn, goldfish pool and waterfall water feature, lovely planters and plantings - barbecue available. Combined kitchen (fully stocked) w barstool seating and dining room make family style meals easy to provide. Two bedrooms w comfortable queen beds provide restful nights and two full baths allow quick prep for the next day. The decor is charming w displays of fine china and porcelain collections to admire in antique display cabinets. We would love to know the stories behind the collections. We hope to stay again at a future family gathering.

Comfort and Charm

We love everything about this hideaway surrounded by woods but close to harbors, beaches, parks, shopping, and our family. Two comfy queen beds in separate bedrooms and two full baths accommodate our 4 perfectly but easily work for 6 too (queen airbed) with several settings for games, leisure and relaxation as well as meals. A family room with sofa recliners allows for movie watching and easy access to the deck patio, a perfect place for a barbecue and yard games. The lovely yard includes a big lawn, fish pool/fountain water feature and privacy plantings as well as flowers and shrubs. The indoor decor features display cabinets and antique furnishings with china and porcelain settings and collections- lovely to admire and wonder about the stories they tell. And if you must eat, the kitchen provides all the necessities and modern conveniences to make meal prep a quick and service an easy affair.

Great House

Our second stay here with the third already scheduled. Perfect for us with family in the neighborhood across the road. House has everything we need including a great kitchen and dining area. Secluded in a beautiful spot in the woods... even has goats in the neighboring yard to watch.

Best place ever!

The house was perfect for my stay in Gig Harbor. The property manager was so kind, communication was easy. The house is beautiful, with every little detail thought of. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Gig Harbor.

This was our first experience with VRBO and this property. We asked someone to look at the location before we booked it. It far exceeded our expectation. The location was very clean with more amenities than can be imagined including every kitchen appliance we could have wanted along with an outstanding deck with a gas grill. A nice touch was a fresh bottle of milk and a package of bagels with butter. The rooms were spacious and the cable TV and internet worked great. We did not have or need much communications with the property manager but what we did have was very pleasant. The property is set was back in a back road but was not difficult to find. We sat each morning and watched the goats in the house behind us and one morning had a baby dear out walking in front. We cannot even think of any complaints or negatives and HIGHLY recommend it.

Cozy, clean, comfy, and cool

First impressions - after driving past the driveway entrance - were the beautiful setting and how CLEAN the house was! And comfortable - the AC was really appreciated after spending a busy day in the heat. It was wonderful starting each day with coffee on the deck, surrounded by baskets of flowers, and listening to the soothing sounds of the waterfall. Hubs appreciated the bagels and jam that were provided and another bonus was seeing the neighbor's goats peeking over the fence. We didn't have time to look for the way to walk to the shore - maybe next time!

Lovely private setting, immaculate home, ample amenities

We visited family in the area and used this lovely home for a base from which to meet at different waterfront locations nearby. Over a long weekend. We had everything we needed in the way of amenities to include some basic cooking supplies and bagels, jam and bottled water waiting for us in the fridge - to get us started. The garden spot deck with umbrella table for six had a barbecue available. The soothing sound of the waterfall pond nearby was a nice surprise. After a day in the water, the grandkids played croquet and boules on the lawn while the adults visited. Beds were comfortable and the house cool in the heat wave thanks to air conditioning and ceiling fans. Two full baths and two bedrooms plus available air mattress made this a perfect accommodation for six.

Perfect location and well stocked

The home was well furnished and stocked with all the comforts of my own home. Beautiful location with a short walk to the shore. Quiet neighborhood and cute goats next door!
