Renoverade gruvarbetare stuga i mycket vacker regnskog miljö, fågeliv, havsljud, absolut estetisk och unik. Allt du behöver för en speciell kyld semester bort från mängden.

Fastigheten rymmer 4 vuxna. Två sovrum med dubbelsängar. Allt linne och handdukar tillhandahålls. Sovrummen har takfläktar.

Hemmet har luftkonditionering i omvänd cykel, ett välutrustat kök med diskmaskin, vackert badrum och varm utomhusdusch. Tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Gas grill och stor utomhus miljö. Mysig veranda för att njuta av utsikten. Privat trädgård och hus direkt bredvid bäcken och regnskogens bakgrund som vi äger. Hemmet erbjuder bekvämt vardagsrum / matsal med utsikt över den omgivande regnskogen.

NBN och smart tv, samla in gratis till tv, Netflix och WIFI. Inget gratis till TV-mottagning. DVDS CD-spelare (BYO-musik). Iphone dockningsstation för att spela din egen musik.

På grund av plötseln är vi i en svart plats. Mobil mottagning är bäst utanför Optus mottagning är bra. Av någon konstig anledning är Telstra väldigt ojämn.

Strikt minimum 2 nätter bara. Vi kan inte göra en nattbokning. Under påskperioden har vi minst 3 nätter och Xmas till strax efter nyåret i min 5 nätter.

Nära till tåget till Sydney, cirka 8 minuter promenad uppför en kulle.

Även om det är undangömt i en regnskog är det bara 3 minuters bilresa eller en 3/4 km promenad nerför backen till stranden och mycket coola bykaféer.

Små barn och husdjur rekommenderas inte på grund av utmaningarna i regnskogen och bäcken.

Lokalt område:

Coledale är ett sällsynt orört paradis, som ligger mellan det dramatiska, drömmande tårta och massor av små stränder. Den har en avslappnad byatmosfär, med en patrullerad strand, surfersstrand, havspool, klippbassänger, promenader i busken, 2 kaféer och en fantastisk videobutik.

De mycket populära Coledale-marknaderna hålls den fjärde söndagen i varje månad på den lokala grundskolan. Bara några minuters bilresa "söderut" till Austinmer och Thirroul hittar du fler stränder, en Bi Lo, god frukt och grönsaker, thailändsk mat, hemvaror och fler kaféer. Några minuters bilresa "norrut" kan du äta lunch på "Scarborough Pub", ta dig till Hangglide OZ vid Bald Hill Stanwell Park eller picknick i Royal National Park. "

Coledale är ungefär en timmes bilfärd söder om Sydney och 20 minuters bilresa till staden Wollongong.

Great Break

Cozy cottage with everything you need. Home had all kitchen utensils and cooking equipment - fully self catering. Great communicators. Beautiful setting and awesome fireplace - we enjoyed our stay. The area is breathtaking. Thank you.

Quaint getaway not far from city

Was a cute little cottage. was clean and tidy...but did have an issue with little bush mice in the kitchen, etc. We are not precious but is a bit off putting not wanting to use the kitchen due to that.. but otherwise , really nice

Quaint and comfortable.

Great communication with host and local contact. Very friendly and approachable. Highly recommend the outdoor shower, the large shower head and good pressure make for a lovely experience.

Lovely rainforest experience

Beds and linen gorgeous. Sat on front verandah in afternoons. Bath lovely. Rustic charm. Enjoyed the wine provided thank you. Peaceful and quiet, rain and flowing creek very relaxing. Loved local coffee and bakery. Loved everything about it. Thank you.

Beauty in the Bush

What a gem is this cottage set in the escarpment of Coledale. Quiet, clean and quaint. The perfect setting for a romantic weekend away or a chance for some downtime. Just lovely.

Pretty special

Our stay in this cosy & quaint renovated Coledale miners cottage was you guessed it.....pretty special. This is not your average off the shelf accommodation but a place with real charm and character. We had a few minor issues that come with a property of this age but they were quickly, efficiently and pleasantly resolved by our host. For the location and experience this property offers I would definitely stay again.

Paradise found

This is the most peaceful place I have ever stayed. Lush rainforest surrounds and the stunning beaches await. The house is rustic but well equipped and comfortable. I loved the outdoor shower and the bed was so comfortable. Sleeping to the sounds of the running creek and local wildlife was heaven and just the ticket to truly relax.

We had a short but amazing stay in Coledale! The property was in the perfect location, a short stroll to the beach and close to amazing shops and restaurants/cafes! Cosy and well equipped

Nicola (and Ausilia) were extremely pleasant and helpful to deal with. I took my overseas friend here for a visit to get a taste of life away from the big smoke of Sydney. The cottage is very cosy and well equipped and the beds comfortable, with crisp cotton sheets and summer weight doona. Extra blankets should you need them. I loved the outdoor (heated) shower which you can take looking out into the rainforest garden, it is very secluded and completely private. You get woken up by the sounds of birds and the gentle stream at the back of the property, the view into the trees is amazing so I left the curtains open day and night. I would love to come back!

Delightful eclectic interior made the experience.

Charming, simple miners cottage amongst wonderful forrest of ferns and cedar Forrest. Interior boasts real furniture not a collection of IKEA. Bed very comfy and beautiful crisp cotton sheets. Add a wood burning fire and perfect was achieved. Couldn’t recommend more.

Coledale Sanctuary

We had a perfect stay at this gorgeous cottage! A serene and private location surrounded by rainforest and just short walk to the beach. The cottage itself was very clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay including the bonus fireplace and bottle of vins. Thanks to Nicola for arranging an easy check-in and for hosting us. We hope to return!

Perfect getaway

The property comes with a beautiful feeling of calm and privacy, being surrounded by a stunning layer of bushland. That said, it's within walking distance to the beach, hospitality and train station and a short drive to the surrounding townships. Thanks for our stay- it was exactly what we were after.

Disappointment

Bathroom very dangerous & extremely unsafe. Slipped on wet floor ledge, & badly damaged right arm. Absolutely no safety features. The kitchen cupboard doors falling off, also rangehood. Not suitable for senior citizens.

Incredible cottage in a wonderful town

My partner and I along with another couple had such a wonderful two days at Nicola's cottage in Coledale. It felt like a home away from home. Beautifully decorated and a great space for two couples. Nicola was fantastic to communicate and the location was perfect for a relaxing weekend in nature. We loved all the extra touches and the wine was delicious! Can't wait to come back!
