Beautiful property, secluded, but still close enough to the mountain. Host was very friendly and supportive.

Great location

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The 8 sleeping cabins and main cabin were able to easily accommodate our large group with multiple families. It was a short 15 minute drive to Sun Peaks so we were able to ski during the day and relax and cook in the evening. The view and location are excellent.

beautiful

The lodge and cabins are great. Everything is beautiful inside and out when it comes to the lodge and cabins. comfortable furniture and beds. beautiful blankets, linens and pillows. The fireplace was wonderful for a winter get away. Great kitchen for group meals. The only downside is a sulphur smell to the water in the cabins, but this isn't a big deal in my opinion. Overall a very good experience.

Hi Matt, We loved having your group! You are welcome back anytime! The sulphur smell is connected to us being rural and being on a well we have looked into where we can mitigate that, but most of our guests don't find that it impacts their stay! We hope to see you guys again in the future!

Awesome Place

Can't say enough good things about this place and the staff. We brought a group of 16 people for 2 days for a company retreat. Everyone had a blast. The main lodge is the perfect hangout spot - love the wood burning fireplace. Commercial kitchen is fully decked-out with everything you need to cook for big groups. Carson and Maddi are wonderful hosts and very friendly and accommodating of the individual needs of your group. Accommodations were comfortable and clean. This place is top-notch - you won't be disappointed.

Reunion of friends and family

We planned a ski vacation with friends and family and used the ranch as our base. It was a quick trip up and down the hill each day from the retreat Center. We loved having a huge gathering space for everyone to hangout and chat or play pool. The industrial kitchen was very well equipped and had a huge fridge that fit all our food. The sleeping cabins were also spacious and well equipped. We would definitely stay again. Thank-you Hillary for being a very friendly and responsive host.

A bitter end

We were a large group 24 adults and 10 children ,we had a great time,place was clean,Everything was fine,property as described. The only thing that we didnt like is that the inspection of the cabins was made after we left and the property owner send us photos of the damages,claiming to be holding our deposit,for 3 issues.She send us photos as proof,for only 2 of the issues( one we noticed as we were there) but the other 2 were very missleading and not very clear.Overall we felt that they took advantage of us and wanted more money to hold ..i mean 350$ for 3 drywall anchors seems a bit to much,no?

We always are appreciative that when a group stays there is sometimes going to be some damages that are unintentional, we do our best to provide any pictures of the damage and assess the cost and labor that it will to fix it. We have never had an issue with previous stays around the damage and we do communicate that in a way that is clear about what the damage is while being completely understanding that things happen. The damage to be fixed was not just 3 wall anchors, we also had damage to our table, and a bedframe. The damage deposit that we hold is always reflective of assessing materials and labor to fix the issue after we have made an assessment of the damage. Any communication around anything we find we are always transparent with the guests and give proof and reasons to why that is. It is never our intention to take advantage of any guests, but to simply come from a place of assessing damage and cost, this has happened before over the years as it does without any issue from previous guests on how we handled it. We never want to leave a client experience in a bad way and we do our best to hold ourselves with integrity around our stays and interactions with all guests. We are disappointed that the initial communication with the damages and how it was received has changed since our initial conversation and we do stand by our assessment of the damage and what was needed to cover it.

Amazing Experience!!

We held a small wedding at the property and it was nothing short than amazing. The guest house had everything we needed and more. Lots of space and the lighting was magical on our day! The cabins are cute and cozy and accommodated our family very well! Hillary answered all my questions in a timely fashion and was available during our entire stay. I will be recommending Epona Rise Retreat to everyone!

Great setup for multi family groups

Our group had a wonderful time at the property. There were 4 families in our group, each family had their own cabin and space. The main cabin was amazing and we really enjoyed being able to all sit down for evening meals at the huge table. Easy drive to Sun Peaks, less than 15 mins. I recommend this property for multi family groups. It was wonderful having separate sleeping accommodation allowing everyone to be together yet still have personal space. Kitchen space was excellent, cabins were well laid out and clean. Owners were a pleasure to deal with from the start of our booking to the end of our stay.

Perfect place for our ski retreat :)

Hillary was extremely accommodating getting us extra mattresses. She was easy to contact, very friendly and even gave our group a small equine experience where the group got to interact with horses. The place was clean a well prepared for our group!

A lodge perfect for any event. A hidden Gem!

A hidden gem. Owner, Hillary made incredible accommodations to ensure our stay was stellar. The lodge and cabins were clean and beautiful. You certainly get more than what’s advertised. I would recommend Epona Rise to anyone interested in a corporate retreat, group event, wedding, or party.

Gorgeous little oasis nestled in the mountains!

Incredibly grateful to have spent 4 nights at this beautiful retreat centre with my family to celebrate my parents 45th wedding anniversary! ⛰☀️ There couldn't have been a better location for all forty-five of us (normally fifty ppl but five couldn't make it). From the spacious cabins to the huge great room with a twenty person table + plenty of seating, to the grassy grounds that were perfect for the little kiddos to play, to the commercial kitchen that worked so well for our cooking needs, to the hosts + owner (Maddi, Carson + Hillary) who were so understanding + helpful... everything was perfect. A little oasis nestled in the mountains with no cell service + limited wifi. We spent the week relatively unplugged + just focused on soaking up every possible minute of this gorgeous place, the beautiful weather + our ginormous family. Would highly recommend + would love to come back some day!

Beyond expectations

Shout out to Hillary, Carson and Maddi for the exceptional hosting at this property. Everything was far beyond our expectations. We had 17 guys up for a bachelor party and it was perfect. The cabins were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen made cooking for 17 people a breeze. The wild open wilderness was amazing and you can even take a brisk swim in the nearby creek. Once again, thanks for hosting us.

Fabulous Stay!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Epona Rise. With eight families, from newborns to adults, we all enjoyed our stay. The main house is perfectly equipped for large gatherings - huge kitchen, appliances, dinnerware, and plenty of seating. Each of the cabins is beautifully appointed for a very comfortable stay. The location is amazing. It was truly tranquil. We enjoyed sledding, bonfires, exploring, the horses and skiing up at Sun Peaks. The staff on site went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay and we did. Can't wait to go back!

Great Spot!
